As the title suggests, our springer 'enjoys' eating woodchip and leaves. The Baskerville may be the gold standard of muzzles but its heavy and has holes big enough to fit debris through.Our dog is still able to hold items like sticks, but this muzzle stops them going down the hatch. Its light and the dog doesn't mind it too much, although he can still get it off unless you are precise with the securing loop. Also, he doesn't look like Hannibal Lecter wearing this. It's a simple design which I can manage in the low light of the winter mornings.We bought M-L which fits fine. The compromise is the strength of the fabric, lightweight means not strong and our dog has managed to put a wee hole in the front from trying to pick up stuff.

My Lab X eats everything while out on a walk. I have tried quiet a few muzzles over the years and I have to say I think this one is the best yet. Its nice and soft on her face, but she cant eat anything off the ground, what I also like is the fact I can still give her a proper treat without taking the whole thing off, as it has a couple of slits either side, so if Im rewarding my other dog for something, she doesn't get left out, I can just pop the treat through the side where the slits are. You still have to keep an eye on your dog even with a muzzle, because if they are determined enough they will get to whatever they want, but I think that applies with most muzzles,

My sprocker eats poo. He actively searches for it and will eat till he throws up, then starts all over again. I’ve tried so many muzzles but this one actually works. It has an elastic chin strap so he can breathe and drink, and hasn’t destroyed it yet after 6 weeks of constant use. I’m seeing signs that he’s started to ignore the piles of poo so maybe, just maybe it’s breaking his hideous habit.......

Needed as puppy eating rotting crab on the beach resulting in a trip to the vet and a large bill.This muzzle is great, no dog likes to be muzzled but this one is quickly forgotten once on the beach and distracted. It is easy to fit and still allows the dog to sniff and play without damaging their sensitive nose. It also looks less intimidating than standard box muzzles.

My dog kep eatting grass and things that poeple had left on ground . I didnt want hard muzzle. So this is the only one i liked which is soft so my dog can still nosy around in the grass without eating it .I must admit he doesnt like it though , he tries to take it of but as i got the correct measurements he cant so i got m/l for a springer spaniel

Liked the idea of this toy on how it squeaks where ever its bitten on to. But it lasted less than 60 secs. Couple of bites, teeth go through and then its shread the toy.Probably good with a mild chewer. Not for a staff! Well tried and tested and still sticking to the Kong wubba and floppy ears.

Dogs are weird creatures! My German Shepherd hates small dogs and is not a very cuddly old boy, he shakes his 'soft' toys like he wants to kill them, but for whatever reason he loves this giraffe. He brings it to show visitors and I sometimes find him sleeping with it next to his head.

This is a great little item and definitely does what it says on the tin. Many dog owners I've met make nice comments about it and say they like the look of it more than the more traditional ones. Try as he may it doesn't come off either. Great buy.

My dog loves this but it is quite noise. Made of a flexible rubber it appears to be able to withstand her destructive habits. My son's JR terrier makes a point of seeking this out everytime he visits so I think I will have to buy him one aswell!

Best toy ever for our lab puppy (18months)who has chewed most rubber toys within minutes. Not attempted to chew this At all just carries it around or plays catch or lies with it. Even bought the alligator to alternate. Great toy

Brought for my Golden Retriever who likes to eat all kinds of things while out and it has stopped him. It is so light I think he forgets its on, I am so glad I gave it a try as it has saved him eating anything he shouldn't have!

It was a very nice toy. My bulldog puppy loved it. Only downside was he chewed through it quiet quickly so the you only lasted about three weeks then had to be thrown away, which is a real shame because he loved it.

The toy has a very loud squeak and made of soft rubber, Kong toy of not our dog will destroy them within an hour or so, but this one has been alive for 3 days, almost a world record in our house

My Labrador puppy absolutely loves this toy. And his not destroyed it.He loves to jump on it with his big paws and when it makes a noisy jumps all over the place.. very good quality toy

My 9 week old springer spaniel absolutely loves this toys he has not left it alone I would say it's his favourite out of all of his toys. Well worth the money and well worth getting.
