Charlie can't write, and although he can't talk either, I know how he feels. I asked him about Lifelong cat food."Makes a change" he said and went back to snarfing it up.And that's all. He hasn't grown bored with it yet, but I expect he will eventually, as he does with pretty much everything. At the moment though, he's eaten about 10 of the 24 pouches and he hasn't walked away from a full bowl so far. This is the meat selection he's eating by the way - chicken, duck, turkey and poultry - and he likes each variant equally. Each of these contains just 4% meat, which seems suspiciously low even for legal reasons! I would have thought that the largest constituent should determine what it's called, but there you go.At first glance there seems to be a lot of written information on the pouches and on the box, but upon closer inspection it's the same information in English, German, Italian and Spanish, so not as much as I would have liked. The price is fair, which is my opinion rather than Charlie's, as would be expected with the 'Amazon Brand' label although it's not clear if Lifelong is owned by Amazon. I get the impression that it's a brand that can only be purchased via Amazon.Would I order it again? Yes, I think I would, if only because Charlie likes it, it seems to have healthy content and the price is reasonable. Of course, the reality is that he'll grow bored with it so I will have to intersperse it with other foods just to keep him happy. And he is certainly that.

A cardboard container containing twenty four sachets of wet food. For cats. Each sachet contains 100g of food. The container can be opened at either end, but wont seal up again once that's done.Six of the sachets are chunks with chicken in jelly.Six are chunks with duck in jelly.Six are chunks with poultry in jelly.Six are chunks with turkey in jelly. All contain Taurine, which helps with eyesight, and vitamin D3 to support bones and health. So it's a good selection of varying food, although perhaps not the biggest sachets of stuff out there. What your cat will think of it depends on them, and you know how fussy they can be which is why I say that. But all in all a pretty decent product.

I'm always slightly concerned about changing my cat's food. He's fussy and tends to throw up anything that disagrees with him. This food is definitely a lot cheaper than what he's used to; we usually pay about £5 for ten to twelve packets, but this is £7.50 for 24! A few reviewers have flagged the low meat content of these, so check that out if you want a discussion of those.Thankfully this food definitely agreed with my cat; he hoovers up most of these big packets pretty quickly (NB. They're 100g rather than the usual 85g that I usually get). There's a good selection of flavours and after a week's worth, my cat is still eating them happily!

My kitten is super fussy when it comes to food. We always assumed she was a grazer as she barely ate a full sachet of meat. Seriously struggled to get the one brand and type of kitten food in during this pandemic and tried amazon. Came across this and confirmed with vets it was okay to give her adult food as she's now 9 months old. First sachet she wolfed it down and was begging for more. We done a few tests to see if it was the new bowl that she liked or the food. Now she gets excited when it's feeding time and there's not a morsel left so not sure where all the negative reviews come from as mine is as picky as they come and adores this

My cats get wet food in addition to dry food (Canagan 7+) and mainly as a treat. Ignore the 'flavours' here, since the named ingredients won't be greater than 4% (possibly a legal requirement?) in each pouch. Providing around 9g of protein per 100g, this is about standard for cheap wet cat foods - they're mostly water, which is fine considering the wet food is important hydration for many cats. My fixed ragdoll and bengal eat all the flavours, though they tend to gobble the jelly first and leave the chunks for unidentifiable animal proteins for later. All in all, you get a decent deal with this - comparable to supermarket own brands.

We have four cats, three wont touch this, one is fine with it. I haven't given it high scores for flavour or scent, because no cat food smells good to me, and I am not tasting it. As for value for money, it's gotten me through a tough patch when UK suppliers stopped selling the preferred cat food brand, so that's fine, but I don't think I'll be buying it again as it's only suitable for one of my cats and she'll eat what the others like too.On a separate note, I think it's pretty disgraceful that pet food suppliers sell stuff that's less than 10% meat. Just my humble opinion.

I tried this cat food because as any cat owner will know, suddenly we are trying to feed them poison with the usual food, they will not give in and eat it, well surprise I tried this and because I did not know the brand was dubious, but she loved it, it is meaty chucks and looks very tempting, it went down a treat and I have ordered now four times and we are still loving it, it includes plenty of variety as I ordered the meat selection ( we had another incident with fish cat food)so all in all a good price, fast delivery and one happy cat!

It took a little while but eventually our cat accepted this Amazon's own rand Lifelong Complete. He's not usually a particularly fussy eater, but if he doesn't like something he won't touch it at all. But it did take him all day before he got stuck into this. Content wise the pouches are nice and moist with plenty of gravy/jelly and meat pieces. At the time of writing these are just £7.31 for a box of 24 pouches. Clearly excellent value if anything near this price is maintained.

I recently tried the equivalent dog meat pouches and they were a real hit. These are similar, though slightly more strong smelling. There's maybe a little more jelly in them so they don't need to be broken up quite so thoroughly as the dog pouches. Can also confirm that our Yorkie will happily wade into a dish surrounded by cats and help himself. We have a Jack Russell that wouldn't attempt this, but the cats don't seem to be sure if the Yorkie is one of them or not.

These 100g pouches are filled with plenty of meaty chunks set in a very thick jelly. The 4 flavours have been met with plenty of enthusiasm from my cats. The meat does plop out easily as one whole piece from the pouch, but it is easily mashable to separate the chunks. Each flavour is quite pungent, but the smell doesn’t linger for long as this food is quickly scoffed.Box contains 24 100g pouches in total:6 x turkey6 x duck6 x chicken6 x poultry

The low price worried me but this was easily as good, if not better than other more expensive brands. My cats devoured it, and trust me when i tell you that they're very fussy. They would go on hunger stroke rather than eat a brand they didn't like. This had a high meat content and dare I say, even looked appetising, as far as cat food goes. Anyway the low price and high quality means that this will be a regular buy and will save me tons of money.

I have 2 house cats that are fed dry food complete and pouchesThey love this product, I only buy meat in jelly and have had no issues with itThey eat it all - unlike other brands where it can be unpredictable as to whether they will eat it or notI can’t comment on taste as I don’t eat cat food but they seem to enjoy itI’ve not noticed any issues with the smell of it eitherI’ve got this on subscribe and save so the price is even better

I have read some people writing about cats walking away from this food and being sick etc.Well we all know how fussy some of the little buggers can be do we not?I have two cats and two semi ferral cats and none has any problem with this food. In fact they love it.I cannot tell any difference in a stronger smell than other cat foods but if it is fish... then fish smells.A great product at a great price. I will definately be buying again.

The cats really enjoyed this. It is handy getting heavy cat food delivered. With four cats this large pack was just right. There are four difference flavours and the cats ate them all. There is only a small amount of the specific flavour in each pack, but it has added vitamins and minerals to make sure that it contains what cats need to keep healthy, so it seems much the same as other cat foods that my cats like.

Great variety set of 24 pouches, what I immediately noticed is how full each pouch is, you really get a lot of meat packed into each pouch. Unlike other brands which seem to pack the pouch with cheaper gravy, these actually contain a decent amount of meat. Each pouch contains added vitamin d for teeth and bones and vitamin e to aid the immune system. My 18 year old cat licked the bowl clean
