My newly adopted cat was overweight; the rescue organisation had started her on a diet, and the poor soul now has a wobbly stomach, so much so that it sways from side when she runs. Anyway, the vet told me to continue with the diet as she was still overweight, despite the amusing possibility of a tummy tuck.She is *incredibly* fussy. So much so that I've tried 6 different types of treats for rare occasions, and she's turned her nose up at all of them. She's fussy about smells too, and won't eat wet food either - how she became obese in the first place is quite frankly a mystery.Don't get me wrong - she's not particularly fond of this food, but she will eat it,

We have 5 Cats two Orientals, 2 Siamese and 1 Balinese. Jophiel, our oldest Siamese weighs a stonking 5.7ks! We have tried all sorts of food to slim him down but so far nothing has worked. Iams Lite was a good start and he really liked it. Then he stopped eating it so I thought I'd give Hills a go. Initially he didn't like it so the others all started eating it. Eventually I mixed the Iams with the Hills, gave the dispenser a good shake and now he is eating it.He has started to lose weight now.........slowly but surely I can now see he has a waist!I am worried that if he doesn't lose weight he will succumb to heart disease or Diabetes.I'd recommend Hills Light to anyone who has a 'porcine

First of all the cat food is great - my cats love it and they are both healthy and happy.The delivery is a different matter.The courier (Yodel) left it with a neighbour but did not inform me either by email, phone or a card through the door. It was only when I checked on amazon that I found out it had been delivered to a neighbour and even then it didn't tell me who. Many days later and with much door knocking I found the package and got it home ok.Cost me a bit of cash as it was my cats' 2 month food supply and I had to buy stop gap food until I could locate the package. Seriously amazon, get shot of Yodel, they're awful and unprofessional.Not best pleased.

Our cats love it! That should be enough but it keeps them in great condition too. Being indoor, their weight can be a problem -not for them or me, just that image-obsessed vet of ours! This keeps them round about the right size and healthy. Their coats are beautiful and - ICK ALERT - their poop is less unpleasant and certainly less smelly than with shop-bought food.We originally got Hill's for a previous cat with stomach sensitivity and it worked a treat for her, giving her a long happy life with no further problems. Her mate liked it too so it was a no-brainer to always use it. Just pick the one for your cat's needs. Happy cats!

This product is truly marvelous. My very, very fussy 14 year old moggy will only, and I mean only eat Tuna based products, Chicken Duck and all other flavors she sniffs and turns around with nose firmly in the air, seeming to say' if you dare think i'm eating that then your really mistaken'. Your product she dived into with sheer joy on her face as if to say, 'you at long last have found me a true delight to eat, just give me more please'.So thank you so much, from a very grateful customer, and a fully contented cat called Kira.

My house cats seem to enjoy this. Three out of three like this flavour, two out of three like the chicken. Actually one out of three would probably eat moth flavour, so I don't think his opinion counts. The cats have remained slim. One, who can be a glutton seems to have lost a little weight in the last year.I do feed them on some wet food a few times a week too, which helps with their kidneys and gives them a bit of a treat, but this forms the core of their diet and all is good.

Arrived swiftly and cheaper and more convenient than buying it at the vets. My cat has eaten this before so I knew she liked it. I believe this is good quality - better than most supermarket foods, although feeding your cat dry food only is not supposed to be very healthy, so check out the websites that advise on this (I do 1 of each, wet and dry food, though working out quantities is tricky.) I would definitely use the supplier again.

it didn't quite to my four babies to eat each of have sesititive tummies but saying my dogs loved only one those have a sensitive tummy but she nibble them my puppy would anything in she seems put her mind disastrous feeder she seems to most out my r floor she Safa doesn't appear to trust bowls maybe someone might have that a problem with their month 18 tiny puppy she has weird sleeps too she sleep under the duvet with me

My 3 cats love this product, and I regularly purchase this for them. It is a nutritious product-not like Whiskas and Felix for example (which I've been told by the vets is like giving them McDonalds!), which makes it appeal to me even more. As my cats are house cats (and get regular fresh treats i.e. chicken), I didn't want them to get overweight, so the light option has worked treats.Thankyou :)

The cat loves this food - no waste like you get with tinned or pouch food where if it dries out at all the cat won't touch it and more ends up in the bin than in the cat. He's on the 'light' food because I suspect he eats at some of the neighbours' houses too so don't want him to have too many calories. Plus he's not as active as he was when he was younger so the light food seems to work well.

Our 2 3 year old cats enjoy this, our older cat isn't so keen. The biccies are small pellets, not much crunching with these biccies I'm fairly certain the cats just swallow these whole, I may be wrong though.Good value in the 5kg bag, the bag has a ziplock type closure which seems to be doing a good job keeping the biccies fresh.Good value + content cats = 5 stars

Our cats have always loved Science Plan after being recommended this as their dry food brand from the RSPCA.Recently our vet recommended we put the cats (mogs, 2.5 years old) onto a lighter diet as they were entering adulthood and putting on a bit of excess weight. They've adapted to this version of their dry food without any fuss.

We own 2 house cats and it isn't easy to try and keep them at their ideal weight. We switched from Hill's 'normal' dry food to Hill's Light and it's had a noticeable effect on their weight. They really do like the taste too and as it has been recommended by the vet we know the cats are getting all of the nutrition that they require.

Excellent Product. We have 2 Large cats and this keeps their weight under control and our Vet is very impressed with how the cat's weights have come down to the correct levels. Cats are also a lot happier being the right weight - play more and just seem more contentNot the cheapest food but cheap does not always = Value

Excellent, fast delivery. Would definitely use this seller again. I know the product, so nothing particular to write about it. For those who have never used Science Diet - cats love it and look healthy and sleek. However, one of mine just loves it so much that she doesn't seem to lose weight, but that's another story.
