I drink numerous cups of tea a day and often find myself having to chug half of it before it gets cold. So I decided to get one of these so I could have a more constant supply of hot tea. The product definitely works in that regard. However I have knocked a star off for the noisy attempts to release pressure from the jug... it squeaks at me until I open the spout to release the pressure. If I leave it too long then it makes a really loud high pitched popping noise... I'm slightly worried that the lid is not up to the task of holding in the heat, also the noise is quite distracting when I'm trying to work. But that aside I am very glad I have bought this jug,

I bought the Dark Blue Jug only about a week ago and loved it so much thought I would buy another, once for hot drinks and one for cold, Yup the blue for cold!! :) Anyway when I got this version, it didn't impress me as much as the blue one, does not look as nice, in regards to the product itself, you can't fault it, keeps my drinks hot or cold for ages! Easy to use, clean and operate, they are right when they say you can use one hand, unlike other Jugs you don't have to fiddle too much, its a simple case of fill, close and go! Well designed and very useful! Thrown away all my old jugs just using these two!

The jug arrived very quickly and looked very expensive much better than I had imagined.The jug was for my Son who was coming back home from hospital to keep his water cool.The water tastes fresh and very cold even after several hours.Once I filled it with warm water by mistake and the water was still very warm.I have not tried it out with hot water but have ordered another one for my Mother.I can recommend the purchase of this jug.

I bought this on the strength of positive feedback from others. I do not use it for hot drinks, just to keep a good supply of cool water handy by the bedside overnight and in the sitting room by day. It's attractive and unobtrusive enough for the purposes I've mentioned. The top is nice and easy to take off and put on as well depressing for pouring.... no spillage. Excellent value for money as well.

I make a filter jug of coffee in the morning - pour one mug and put the rest in the jug to drink during the rest of the day.I've had it for nearly a year, it works fine.Yesterday, I put it on the window ledge on the landing at the top of the stairs only to see it bouncing all the way down the stairs. I expected it to be broken. But it wasn't - I was very impressed that it survived.

A very nice looking matt-black jug, that does exactly what you want it to do. Liquids stay hot for hours, and the opening and pouring mechanisms are easy to use. 3 years warranty is a great bonus, too.I'm very happy I chose this particular model from the many that are available. The price was very reasonable for such a stylish jug.

Bought for my daughter got fed up of making her cups of tea every 5 mins. Now she gets a whole litre. Jug with easy pour. Perfect for when she’s doing school work. Or playing video games with friends. Hot tea on standby when ever she wants it. My only complaint is it doesn’t automatically refill its self. Other than that it’s perfect

not yet used...planning to use my new replacement jug soon....I dropped and broke my last one which I replaced but alas the replacement leaked-no worries as Amazon replaced it free of charge....will be using the new one soon when I go on a tree planting session this winter.....hot tea,a luxury matey!!....no sugar,all is sweet!!!.

Keeps the water hot for quite a few hours, depending on how full it is, if full the water will keep the heat for first thing in the morning.It can't be dunked in the water for cleaning, as water gets in between the outer shell and the inner thermos flask. Water will come out eventually.

Bought this little beauty for camping-tried it at home-excellant! holds 3.5 of my large mugs,a great start to the day,with the last half cup being just as good as the first!!!I may get another just for coffee-cant fault this product....get one!

I use it for cold water and it keeps it cold and that's perfect for me I do wonder how easy it would be to clean well if you use it for anything apart form water and some people who have used it think it is a little heavy... thus 4 not 5 stars.

This Jug saves me from boiling the kettle to make coffee all day long, I now only boil kettle twice a day to fill the jug and that lasts till bed time usually with hot water still in jug when I wake next morning, so they really do work.

being a high consumption tea drinker it is ideal,boil kettle once and make tea in jug and it keeps tea hot for 2 to 3 hours better than any teapot , also saves boiling kettle all the time

Very easy to use, and I did daily.Started leaking steam after a year or so. Leaks slowly, making noises. Maybe I'd dropped it or something. Maybe it's expected after so much use.
