I haven't looked at a Lego set since childhood. Who Knew there were so many themes and how much fun it is.Ended up getting hooked on Lego Masters, my partner loved Harry Potter so got the train set for them as a Christmas gift and they were made up and went onto by the hall etc.So I thought I wanted in on the action - saw the VW camper - we had one when I was a tot and used it to travel from Italy (not that I can remember) but they are classic so thought I'd get this.Well unlike the Potter lego these aren't numbered bags so yes you have to sort them yourselves but that was half the fun. I spent a glorious few days in the garden over easter in the sun building this.did it in a 2-3 sessions about 3-4 hours (including sorting time)

Not bought myself a Lego model for over twenty years and I have to say it was an absolute delight to build.The attention to detail is incredible from the interior to engine bay and everything inbetween!Took me a good four evenings as I wanted to take my time and enjoy it, I would recommend this approach to anyone else as its a truly joyous build.If you're in a rush then I would advise sorting the bits into colour and size early on to save heaps of time searching. I actually enjoy that part the most so was happy emptying each bag into a plastic pot and searching through them all each time.Felt a bit sad when it was finished I enjoyed it that much and have been eyeing up the Mini Cooper ever

I bought this model along with the Mini Cooper to build as a summer holiday project with my 11 year old son. This model looks great, is well-proportioned and has many interesting features which elevate it above the Mini Cooper and indeed most, if not all of the other LEGO Creator Expert models. We thoroughly enjoyed building it and were suitably challenged but not frustrated by it. One technique we deploy is to sort all the pieces into separate trays by colour and then sometimes again by size if there are a lot of small parts such as with the London (Routemaster) Bus. This model takes pride of place alongside the Mini Cooper on my son's bedroom cabinet. Highly recommended.

I bought this as a treat to myself and very glad i did. The build is fairly easy with a few slightly challenging bits and the finished model looks great, it now has pride of place on one of my shelves. It even has some functionality within the interior. Very good value for the piece count, would recommend this to any more mature Lego collector.

Excellent set. Good value in the Black Friday sale. Parts are split randomly between several bags but finding the right part is half the fun I guess. You don’t want the build to be over too quickly. Difficult to distinguish the colours in the book ie black, grey and dark grey but a great, highly detailed model.

A truly stunning kit, so detailed, elevating roof, rock n roll bed, curtains, wardrobe, steering wheel, gear stick, pedals. Its got the lot. I sat with my 10year old son and put this together with him. A great father and son time together as it took us almost 10 hours to complete

Bought the VW camper van very pleased when it arrived but unfortunately we just started assembling it and have discovered that there is a piece missing pleased could you send us a replacement piece have added a pictureMany thanks B Taylor

This is, by far, the best Lego set I've ever built. The finished article looks amazing, the design is flawless and it was a pleasure to build.I only wish I could get in this camper and head to the beach. Bravo, Lego.

Got this for my boyfriend and we had great fun building it together. Took quite a long time but we did it in numerous small sessions. Highly recommend and it’s just a bit of fun

Took advice and sorted it into colours making it easy to build. Built it much quicker than I expected and instructions were very clear, never having built a large lego before.

Loved it and enjoyed building it on Christmas Day ,avoiding all on going disputes and arguments !!! The absolute bonus was having the matching light system . Bliss !!!

This is one of my favourite builds. It's not massive, but the detail is fantastic and makes it really enjoyable. Such an iconic and cool camper van as well. Loved it!

Lego is always overpriced but this was priced as expected, correct price for the item and great fun to build.Would purchase more items

Excellent! Started building Lego again with the blockheadz and yhis was a step up, took awhile to complete but looks amazing.
