The seller posted the product on time and in excellent condition. The product itself is well detailed/moulded and will take many hours to prepare, prep, paint and assemble. The positives are that the parts are well moulded and that this is a challenging model with many parts for the experienced builder, this is not a model for beginners. The negatives are that the body has to be assembled from flat panels that require spray painting inside and outside first, this is a negative as it is hard to trial fit panels and adjust them because of the type of construction, so once painted adjustment is difficult. The body went together very well, but the doors did not fit nicely at all,

The huge box was filled to the brim with plastic! All lovely in quality with fine detail, Several colours of plastic was used, Including lots of chrome on two sprue`s and rubber tyres. I am converting the model into a camper van, so this will be a long term build for me. The instructions are divided into almost 100 stages, It is all clearly described. A large number of paints are required (more than 20) which could be expensive if bought just for this one model. The decal sheet is nicely produced with particular attention given to the engine compartment, Even down to a transfer for the fanbelt. Parts and transfers for several nationalities including uk, But only left hand drive can be built

The model is very well moulded and there are lots and lots of pieces. I bought this to do during the lockdown and had visions of recreating my boyhood days. However it’s a bit too difficult for me as an inexperienced modeller, some of the parts are very small and need painting before assembly but you need a very steady hand. So, all in all, it’s a great model if you know what you are doing but maybe not for someone like me. It’s my fault, I should have done my research a bit better.

This is my 3rd purchase of this model one being the “technik” version, it’s a challenging kit, be prepared for hours of prep work before actual construction. Take care with the chrome parts, do use the special glue that Revell recommendsIt’s time consuming perfect for theCurrent lock downs.

Revell has proofed to raise their standards with this model. All parts fit really well, hardly any additional trimming of the plastic needed. Also the new/updated instructions that come with the model are very easy to read and use. All in all a great quality product.

I bought this as a birthday present for my Dad, not realising that it would need paint and glue! Can anybody point me in the right direction for the correct paint and glue for this model?

Arrived this morning (12/05) in perfect condition. The kit looks very good. I am looking forward to building it.
