4 year old is just getting into legos. He can put together basic stuff, like the men but not the jeep. If it's a more complex piece, like some of the Star Wars stuff we got him, I put it together and then he can put most of little pieces back on that might have fallen off. This army set is great for him, the men he can put together and rebuild if necessary, and the jeep is very solid once put together and very unlikely to come apart anyway. He wanted some army men and some star wars clones for xmas and ended up being very happy with getting the lego versions of them. He's not quite 4 & 1/2 and has a great time with these and other legos, really uses his hand coordination skills and his imagination.

My boyfriend is an avid collector of army men and legos(after they are put together of course, not in the box, he likes to set them up all over the place) so I thought this toy would be perfect. He loved it. However, like me he was not ecstatic that the box looked like someone had tried to bend it in half. But when opening it up all the pieces were there and fine. His face lit up when he was opening it. Now, as for how much fun this toy is I dont know that he will end up playing with it at all, but he is sure to have fun putting it together. Educational value... probably zero. The durability on this toy should be good, they are legos after all. Over all I would rate this toy with 5 stars.

When my nephew was a kid, I tried to spoil him and his brother with Legos. He now is a father and a Navy Corpsman that served in Afghanistan with the Marines last year, so I had to send this to him! He got a kick out of it and when he returned home (THANK God :) he gave it to his three year old who loves it!Just purchased two more for my boys, I am quite confident they will also enjoy playing with the set.

I bought these toys for my 5 yr old son for Christmas. The soldiers are great, and they come with nice guns. The reason it isn't a 5 star review is because the jeep is a little complicated for a 5 yr old. It wasn't too much for me to put together, but a kid couldn't do it himself unless he was like 8 or so. I wish Legos had more of a transition from the Duplo sets to the tiny bits for older kids.

As an adult Lego fan, I was hesitant to get this set for a while. I liked it but wasn't sure if I wanted to actually buy it. However, I finally pulled the trigger and I do not regret it. I love all the green pieces and the 4 all green minifigs make it completely worth it! Great set as far as I'm concerned. If you're on the edge, GO FOR IT!

This set of Toy Story 3 Army Men is nice. It has only 90 pieces and took only a few minutes to put it together. Everything is green, I would prefer some color added possibly as headlights and taillights of the jeep. My son likes the Toy Story, so I bought this set for him on sale for five bucks, and I would not pay more for it.

Great toy- was around 10-11 dollars when we bought it from Amazon. Not to difficult to build, and has lots of imaginary play value. The jeep stays together pretty well too, making it more durable than most of the model build lego sets. Also, came with 4 army guys, which kids just thought was super cool!

My 5 year old saw this at the local store and asked if he could have it for Christmas. The set is the perfect size to play pretend "military stuff", as my son tells me. It's not scary military, it's "Toy Story" military. The "dudes" could be used in so many other pretend ways in different sets as well.

As much as a marketing scheme this is, Toy Story x Legos x Army Men made me instantly want this as it was part of my childhood with Toy Story movies in the 90s. This is the better of a few lego sets out there. I'm still a sucker for stormtrooper legos.

Bought this as a decoration for a battle themed birthday party. My youngest nephew helped by putting this set together. Just challenging enough that it took some time and kept him occupied. Great detail for such a low price.

Great fun gift add-on for someone in the army. Lego quality is awesome as always.As a toy for kids, I would recommend younger kids only. I think green army men are not as big of a play toy as they might once have been.

My son has army men from various manufacturers, but the men from this set are the best. He uses them with jeep at the front of his military buildup and they look awesome. Overall very good value for the money.

For roughly under 12 bucks I think that this is one of the best Lego sets you can buy for the money! Comes with four guys! They are Lego army man, what else could you want?!?!

I bought these little guys and stuck them on my desk at work. The little sniper one I have laying on the monitor of my computer to ward off any unwelcome enemy snack-thieves.
