What a great little Lego set!!!Lego seem to be getting better and better at these themed sets. This set is brilliantly designed and was great fun to build.First off, the box looks great. Plenty of pictures etc. showing off the various aspects of the model. Nothing too much to rave about here.Opening the box, I was greeted with a dreaded sticker sheet! Whilst it's not a major issue, I always prefer Lego sets that have the details printed on the bricks rather than having to stick them on. I've stupidly messed up stickers on previous models which is annoying. Stupid butter fingers!!! Anyway, some will love sticking the stickers on, it's just me I guess. There are plenty of bricks in this set to keep you going for an hour or so.Think it took me about 2 hours but I had other stuff going on in the background so no doubt you can do it quicker than that. It's not a particularly hard model to build so I can imagine kids will have no issues building this.Once built, you can marvel at how well they have designed this. 2 figures fit in the front seats and you can position Scooby in the back in between Shaggy and Fred. The roof comes off the Mystery Machine and you can fold out the walls to play with the figures inside. There are little computer consoles inside along with a torch and a camera which are mounted on the van walls. The set comes with an evil/haunted tree and zombie figure. Again, brilliantly made! The tree, in true Scooby Doo fashion, is a robotic one. On the back you can see a computer console and at the top is an area where the zombie can stand. The tree also has posable arms and branches. What's great about the zombie mini figure is that the back of its head has 2 little buttons as if it's a mask! What a brilliant little detail. The 3 other figures, Scooby, Shaggy and Fred are brilliant! Shaggy and Fred have 2 different faces that you can turn around to what ever suits. Shaggy and Fred are in their usual outfits and are your generic mini figures and Scooby is moulded in to one position. They come with a little printed square news paper report and a little magnifying glass. The whole thing is very well built and is very sturdy. It looks so cool on display and is a must for any Scooby Doo fan or Lego collector. Along with my Lego Ghostbuster Ecto 1 and my Lego Back to the Future DeLorean, this looks awesome!!!Fun to build, looks awesome and fits perfectly in to any Lego collection!

The 75902 Scooby Doo Mystery Machine build. It has:- 301 pieces- 3 building manuals- 1 large sticker sheetThe mini-figures are:- Scooby Doo – standing with right paw raised, left ear flopped forward and right ear straight up, he has a crooked smile with teeth showing on left side- Shaggy – 2 faced green jumper (small amount of printing), brown trousers – same as other sets in this release- Fred – 2 faced – white jumper over blue shirt with orange neckerchief and blue trousers- Zombie – good looking piece – glow in the dark bright medium green head and hands, scruffy green jacket over torn t-shirt with dark brown trousers – some nice printing on torso and back as well as face and back of head.Thezombie’s weapon of choice is a motorised tree. The tree’s monster face is a sticker with glow in the dark eyes and looks good when in place – his main weapons are the branches of the tree which can be moved and rotated..Mystery Machine is stunning – it looks exactly like the van in the cartoons. The biggest issue is the number of stickers which need to be applied especially the ones for the side panels which have to be lined up so they are all equal, level and run straight from front to back. The top lifts off for easier play.2 mini-figures can fit in the cab of the van which is a nice difference to the usual single occupancy vehicles. The back and sides open to reveal that the van isn’t just for transportation of the Scooby Gang but it is a working lab and research centre. There are 2 notice board which are on the inside of the sides of the van; a tape recorder near the back of the van; a radio/sonar display, a stove for cooking on the road; a torch which can be taken off the peg on the wall; a camera for them to take out and photograph the villain for proof; computer screen and a gigantic triple layered sandwich. It also comes with a magnifying glass and a newspaper report about the tree coming to life..This is a great set BUT the American set comes with a cardboard Fred hair piece on a stick and blue collar with orange neckerchief so that you can pretend you are Fred – the UK version does not and ours works out to be more expensive than the US version.Shame on you Lego, you shouldn’t stiff the people who buy, build and collect your sets. The Mystery Machine is fantastic, the tree is meh, the figures are great – and a third different designed Scooby Doo.

They Mystery Machine sits right in the middle of the 5 Scooby-Doo Lego sets and it's one of the two -absolutely- must haves from the series (The other is the Mystery Mansion). The first reason this set gets a 'must-have' status is because of Fred. Fred is only appearing in this set and makes it indispensable if you want to have the whole Scooby-Doo company. Although I think Fred is probably the figure that resembles least the one from the TV series -especially compared to how good the other minifigures look - he's still fairly nicely done with accurate colors and -as usual for the series- two different facial expressions. The second reason this set is a must have is of course the van itself.I love how Lego captured and transferred the 'curviness' of the cartoon van onto a Lego set. Moreover, this is one of the few Lego vehicles that two minifigures can sit side by side. The space in the back of the vehicle contains some nice touches, like a small oven, a sink and of course Scooby snacks and there is also space to place the standing scooby in the back. It also contains space for a flashlight and a camera. One of the coolest Lego accessories I have seen is the magnifying glass (which really works) and it's a really nice touch as it adds to the 'mystery solving' mood.Scooby and Shagy are of course there as well (standing Scooby with grinding teeth, Shagy wearing the same clothes as in all sets apart from the Haunted Lighthouse). The Zombie and the mechanical tree are also looking very good and the diamond color on this set is also quite unique.Building this set is quite easy, but be prepared for a l-o-t of stickers. This must be one the highest sticker-count Lego sets, so be patient and get practice if you are not used to that. However, if it was not for all these stickers Mystery Machine would not look as good as it does. All in all this is a very nicely done set, it is absolutely a must have if you are a Scooby doo fan and my son has spent endless hours of fun solving mysteries, so it was a great buy!

I have a tendency to write only negative one-star reviews (anger is an energy, after all), but in this case I'll make an exception. The Mystery Machine been selling out left and right, so if you're at all thinking of buying this, don't be hanging about, because I'm sure you can guess what sort of price this will soon be fetching on the secondary market. It's an easy build, but the finished product is an absolute delight. It's a sturdy little vehicle, with an ingenious construction allowing the back of the van to open from each side. The minifigures are terrific, and Lego have somehow managed to absolutely capture the essence of the characters without compromising what makes a minifigure a minifigure.Shaggy and Fred are so cute, but my favourie has to be the zombie, with his button-up-the-back head.I understand some builders are concerned about the number of details on stickers, and while these are indeed a little fiddly, they are made from a material that allows for re-positioning, until you get 'em just right. (This is my first build featuring stickers - I'm relatively new to all this.)The evil tree is not just an add on, but a great feature in its own right, and surprisingly poseable. To indicate just how iconic this set is, I was desparate to buy and build it though I'm in no way a Scooby Doo fan.And now, having it complete, I'm wondering what I can sell to raise enough funds for the etired set Lego Haunted House 10228.What am I bid for this kidney?

Yet another collaboration between a TV programme & Lego - and, as with most we have had & built, it's brilliant. Just one of a series in the Scooby Doo range, this one features the iconic Mystery Machine, Scooby Doo himself, Fred, Shaggy, haunted "scary" tree & a Zombie type figure. The simple build process, consisting of 3 numbered bags of 300+ bricks, 2 simple to follow instructions books & a sticker sheet that younger builders may need some help with to ensure a visually impressive finish result, when completed, in a set that allows for hours of play & interaction, even as a stand alone set, let alone with other sets in the series or indeed with other Lego - the imagination can really be allowed to run free. With a vehicle that has removable roof, opening back doors, removable accessories like a "Scooby snack" sandwich, Magnifying Glass, Torch & a Camera, 3x Minifigures & Scooby Doo & a haunted tree, the price of £30 is brilliant value. Build time for me was 1hr, but it is a simple kit & I have plenty of experience - a 1st timer or much younger builder could be kept occupied with the build alone for 2-3hrs I would hope.Photographs show the end result of the 1st, 2nd & 3rd bag builds & then some selected detail images of the Minifigures & Mystery machine.

I was so excited when I saw you could buy Scooby Doo lego, but not only that, the mystery machine. I'm in my 30's and this takes me right back to my childhood. Although I was hoping to keep this for myself I find myself fighting over it with my hubby and 5 year old!The set is brilliant, a real must have for any fan, the detail is amazing. It was a joy to make and now to play with. There are a few stickers, I let my daughter do these and they are pretty straightforward. The figures you get with it are Fred, shaggy, a zombie and a Scooby figure. They look very realistic. I need to get daphne as she was always my favourite character. The instructions are so clear so much so that each individual block is numbered, and if any of the parts are missing, Lego will replace free of charge. Luckily I haven't had this problem, in fact I have found I have a few spares each time.I cannot recommend this set enough, can't wait to get the rest of the collection.

Lego.... Scooby doo... a great combination. The Mystery machine looks really good (the 'monster' perhaps less so). Just a shame it doesn't come with the whole team meaning you have to buy the other sets if you want to complete the original Scooby gang.(always worth watching prices on lego sets - they can vary quite a lot and sometimes worth checking if the actual lego site is cheaper)

This is by far one of the best things lego have ever made. the price is extortionate as usual but its always gonna be loads so im over that and tbh £30 for the amount of fun im having is worth it. this is easily one of the best things ever and everyone should buy this, its so blooming cool and i cannot recommend this enough.
