Having just completed this Lego Stormtrooper Helmet all I can say is it's "Absolutely gorgeous!" Like previous reviewers have mentioned before the pictures Do Not Do This Helmet Justice At All it's a hell of a lot better In the flesh. I'm 52 years old and I was 10 when I see Star Wars: A New Hope back in 1977 with my father. I've had a couple of small Star Wars sets before in the past the Landspeeder and Obi Wans hut, but nothing ever to this standard. It took me about 5 hours to build from scratch (I'm no Lego expert by the way) however that was all part of the fun buying this helmet I'm glad it didn't take me a couple of hours or so and I enjoyed every minute of it.The size is just right for display purposes not to big or small. The overall look of this finished product is just like the Stormtroopers from the original movies but in Lego form / version . I honestly can't see how Lego could improve on this particular helmet? There was a couple of tricky bricks that had me a little bit confused but nothing that was a deal breaker. It didn't help when one of the main black brick fell out completely from the middle of the main structure when I had fully completed Bag number 1 so I had to strip part of the build down to put it back but isn't that the fun of Lego? The stickers are a bit lazy of Lego but not a drama there really easy to put on and they match perfectly I managed to get my black / grey front grille stickers right upto the printed plates without any gaps or white brick showing so it can't be that hard if I can do it. (Just make sure you get the blue striped ones at the sides of both the helmet in the right order!) The black stand and description plate are very professional looking too. I've seen online this is probably the least favourite out of the other 2 helmets available, but for me personally I think this is the best one hands down out of them all ! It's iconic, timeless and the white colouring just pops with the black and grey. Now to the price I personally think it's very reasonable for £54.99 you get 647 pieces, an Orange brick separator and the packaging and instructions are both high qaulity. So if your in two minds about getting one of these Stormtrooper helmets I would say don't be just get one asap you won't regret it trust me!

As a relatively avid Lego Star Wars collector, I was very disappointed when Lego discontinued their Constraction line of Star Wars characters. I’d collected all 28 characters, which were all modestly priced around the £15-30 mark, and they look brilliant. I enjoy glancing at those more than any of my Falcons and AT-ATs littering the house. It seems though that Lego’s replacement lines are the Star Wars helmet range. They’ve dipped the toe in the water with Boba Fett, a TieFighter pilot lid and the classic Stormtrooper lid. I’m sure this is a trial run to whet our appetite for Darth Vader. He’s got to be next hasn’t he, in time for Christmas maybe? So, what do you get for your £54.99?647 bricks to be precise. When I did the Boba Fett helmet it only took me 68 minutes from opening the first bag of bricks to completing the model. That’s a figure of £0.81 per minute of Lego building entertainment. This Stormtrooper helmet took me two hours, but I was also watching the Grand Prix at the same time. How you feel about that is dependant on what you personally get out of the Lego experience. If you’re most interested in the delight of building a model, you may feel a little short changed. The build is very simple, there’s nothing particularly taxing, and you will motor through each of the five bags of bricks. If the thrill of Lego is in the finished model, then as a presentation piece it’s really very good. I like it a lot. It looks great on my shelf, and fits in very nicely with the rest of my Lego collection. Be very well aware though that your expectations on size should be kept low. It’s a surprisingly small model. As others will have said, it may be a disappointment.Overall then, the rating of it will be very subjective. The appeal of Lego to me isn’t the build but the presentation model at the end of it. For that, the Stormtrooper Lego helmet scores very well. It can’t escape me though how quickly I finished it considering the cost of the item, so I simply can’t gush with praise entirely.

I really liked this one - more than the Fett helmet which i felt was a bit disappointing due to the end result having gaps. This one has more pieces and is a bit more complicated to build. The 18+ is due to this not being a toy, not a display model - so the build is still relatively simple, numbered bags and so on.The end result is a very good representation and this looks great on display. I’d recommend this one over the Fett version across all elements - build, difficulty and end result.

I started to build this, initially thought I’d been sent the wrong item/right box, building a house? No, wow, end result is nothing like the beginning. Four hours it took, little stressful and fiddly at times.Instructions were clear and easy to follow. My end result is actually minus two pieces underneath, doesn’t affect the outcome just wouldn’t stay when mouth piece was fitted.Totally enjoyable experience, looks amazing, smaller than I expected. A great collectors piece for sure.

Well what can I say it came is a very smart looking box so open carefully lego pieces all in separate bags so you know what pieces you will need first rather than everything being mixed in together we haven't finished building yet but so far I'm impressed as it isnt just the outa shell you build you build the inside support first. Easy Step by step booklet guide so you know where you are upto looking forward to the finished item just watch the small pieces if little ones are about

It's a really enjoyable read but like many of the reviewers there are 2 x missing pieces which I think Lego need to look into, I'd assume they're all the same one as highlighted on the image (on both sides). I say this as the manual states you need 4 x 6034044 when you actually need 6.... I think one of the designers screwed up. The only way I can see to rectify this is to order the missing pieces from Lego themselves which is slightly annoying.

Star wars, small figure head. Ideal if you like building these but are running out of room these are small heads that are about same size as a pint glass when fully built. So will fit anywhere really. It says 18 or over but could be done with a child that has adult supervision & help. Details are good although can be a little fiddly when putting together. Would recommend these for any budding star wars fans.

An absolutely amazing Lego piece of art. I am never disappointed with Lego, as a long time fan of both Lego and Star Wars I would highly recommend this product.Personally I finished this quite quickly though and its not a bad mark on my account as I am experienced with Lego since I was a kid however it is still intriguing to put together and see it slowly come together piece by piece.

My son loved this set it took over 2 days as he wanted to rest. He found the instructions easy to follow he is 13 years old. It's a decent size about roughly 19cm high. Looks great on shelf. Comes with useful tool to help pick lego that as been put in wrong place. There was a few spares at the end of the build too. Son very happy with this set any star wars fan would live this set.

This is a must for any Star Wars collection. It is aged 18+ and there are areas which need considerable concentration but any Lego fan will be able to contribute to it's construction. It took a couple of evenings to complete but well worth it. When finished, it's sturdy and a good size to display. There are no movable parts and it is a good design. Hope a Darth Vader one comes out

Comes in nice smart box giving it the Impression of a collectors piece, it states age 18 but my 11 year old built it in 2 hours with a little bit of help from his Dad. Very well designed and looks great considering the Storm Trooper helmet is a hard shape to achieve in LEGO. Worth noting that this has no play ability but is great display piece for any Star Wars/Lego fans.

I gave this to my grandson for his birthday. I thought the image looked quite scary and but it was going to excite by grandson when he unwrapped his present. I was not wrong - he loved it. Perhaps a little help may be needed on some areas. Either way he loves building it and Dad is eager to step in at a drop-of-the-hat to help. It’s a great present.

Although lego is pricey it really is worth it.I myself did this one and it's the 1st one I have ever built and I'm over the moon with the finished product. Such detail goes into it. It's made extremely well and holds together. Instructions were very easy to follow. Definitely for an older child or even adult. Fantastic lego product.

Bought for my husband’s birthday, he loves all things SciFi. I was actually very surprised at the detail in this model, the intricate details for the centre of the head it way beyond what you would think. Didn’t take that long to build and am very impressed with the end product that sits on the display stand nicely.

This is great Lego build for any Star Wars fans. Slightly smaller than expected about 8” in heights Very fun to build and not to many fiddly bits. Some smaller Pieces and 5 bags in all.Looks like a stormtrooper helmet when finished and the stand makes it look very nice and easy to display
