My son adores lego ninjago, and these sets are excellent. Very well planned dragon, which can be set into different poses, comes with 4 mini figures - Jay, Zane, Daddy No Legs and Muzzle (brilliant names!). My son is 10 and perfectly capable of building this on his own, although he sometimes needs a bit of help to push pieces together or fit tricky items without breaking another bit. Lego is such a good toy because there's the fun in the building, and then the fun in the construction too. My lounge is fairly over run with lego, and it's really good to see my son playing with it out of choice in a world of gadgets. Cool switch to sweep the dragons tail around, and spring loaded missiles in the dragon's mouth.

This took a few one to two hour sessions to build, because I find making lego sets to be a very calming activity and I don't like to rush it. The instructions are clear, and step by step you build up a quite complex dragon, along with several figurines. I don't personally get the point of the golden fleece thing- it just looks like a piece of junk- but everything else is great. You get extra swords so you can switch them around, and the dragon has lots of moveable parts, plus it shoots spring-loaded darts from its mouth, which will probably be lost quite quickly (there is only one spare). This Ninjago Lego set has much the same sort of appeal to kids as Star Wars Lego, but without the heftier price tag. By their own admission, Lego pass all of the Star Wars licensing costs on to the customer, whereas Ninjago is Lego's own invention - so no such problems there. Ninjago is probably the hippest Lego of all, appealing even to some non-Lego fans. This set comes with four minifigures in addition to the blue dragon and makes an ideal mid-sized gif for a kid. My 9 1/2 year old nephew was absolutely thrilled with it.

Great show piece this Ninago Lego. The Ninjago Strombringer is the latest dragon set to drop down. It is an impressive piece and it looks great. It's not too big and it is geared for the right age group. You get four mini-figures the best I would say is Daddy No Legs.If your child loves Ninjago, then this is a must have set. Lego is educational and I see the Ninjago set go hand-in-hand with enjoyment and educational construction. A happy young chappie and it is an great show piece as well.

Our first Ninjago set but it won't be the last as this one is proving so popular here! Brilliant set, and not least of all because it's a great one to build. As much fun was had with the construction as was playing with it afterwards. Can't really fault Lego as it's so timeless and really fires the imagination but this set in particular has totally captured the attention of our granddaughter (and her dad) and other sets from the same range have been added to the wishlist.

This is aimed at 8+ years. My grandson is 7 but was enthralled. He had some help from his father, but it was a great project for them to do together. His imagination was stirred and after completing it, he has played with it non-stop.The creature itself is magnificent, great to look at and as well as the dragon rider, there is a collection of other figures. I suspect that the fund of building it was shared equally between boy and father.

As usual with any Lego I've had, this is brilliantly designed and made. The instructions are typically easy to understand, and the dragon is challenging but in the end quite easy to assemble. The ability for it to fire objects and also swing its tail are nice additions too.The extras are excellent and all fit in perfectly to make a really great set, and for a reasonable price I think too.

This is a great Lego set for older kids! I love the dragon, it looks so good when its built Kids will love the challenge of building this and then will have a great time playing with the finished product. Adults will love this too, it's great fun to build.

Bought as a Christmas present for my 5 year old grandson. He was very pleased with it and sent me a photo of him and the completed "dragon" saying it was awesome. So very pleased with it. He did have some help off his dad to build it.

Lets face it, all Lego is awesome!My 6 year old loved this and I got it for a good price, took a bit longer fro him to build compared to what he's used to, but then its a decent size! It looks great and is well a articulated set.

A huge amount of fun for both adult and child - and the end result is great to play with. We are already planning to order a lot more of these figurine building sets as we love being able to build the toy before playing with it.

Gift for six year old boy. Needed some help to construct but very impressive result and has become a favourite toy. Fairly robust and has stood up to wear and tear well.

My 5 year old grandson kept returning to constructing this over the whole of Christmas week. He followed the instructions carefully and completed it virtually unaided.

although my son loves it, i find it really hard to justify a 2 dragon assembly to cost nearly 80€, we therefore buy mostly lego copies...it's way too expensive... :-(

Lego is always a winner with my grandson. He absolutely loved it. It was excellent value when I purchased it too when it was on offer so win-win always round.
