LEGO 71710 Ninjago Ninja Tuner Car with Spreading Blades Building SetLego building bricks have been around for as long as I can remember, after some research I found that they were first introduced for sale in Great Britain in 1955.I'm sure most of us have owned lego sets at some time in our lives and know how much fun they can be to play with. It's amazing haw many different models can be constructed from a box of Lego bricks. Over recent years there have been many dedicated Lego sets that are designed to build a specific model.This Lego set is the 'Ninjago Ninja Tuner Car', the name sounds amazing, the images on the box look pretty impressive too. I'm certain my son will love this,in fact he's already tried to lay claim to it.There are 419 pieces to this set, also included are the characters: Scott, Red Visor, Red Visor (version 2) and Digi Kai. The parts are all up to the usual high standard you'd expect from Lego, they are of course compatible with all of the other available Lego sets. The bricks can be used in other Lego sets if you wish to form your own creations, but I find it best to keep each set in different boxes as the parts can soon become mixed up.Lego certainly is one of the best ever construction toys, this set is a useful addition or indeed as a stand-alone toy - Recommended!Thank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

This is an easy to build Lego set fromt he NInjago range. You get 419 pieces to build a flying car which has some elements that flip up or out (blades and wheels) along with 4 mini figs and lots of interchangable weapon accessories and an instruction booklet. The set is age rated at 8+ but I think the set could easily be built by a keen infant school aged child . I'd think that age 9+ children would be starting to get past being interested in Ninjago and playing with their creations. Usually I find that Lego sets aren't that easy to play with especially when pretending to fly items. We have had countless tears in this house when Star Wars ships fell apart when lifted or AT-AT's legs crumbled when moved.However, because this set has large pieces and is light when assembled it does have play potential and seems fairly robust the minifigures have interchangable parts. My children fall in to 2 camps with Lego, those that like to build the item and then have finished with it and those that have no real interest in the build and just want to get the thing completed as soon as possible (often with help to speed things along) so that they can start using it in their play. I think this set works well for play but won't be that challenging to build for anyone in Junior school. It's pretty pricey for what you get but then Lego always is.

Instructions3 bags of piecesSticker sheet418 pieces4 minifiesUnder normal circumstances I would have built the lego Ninjago Ninja Tuner Car with Spreading Blades Building Set, Prime Empire Racing Vehicles with my niece. Sadly im not allowed out of the house; so I was forced to do it - and then share the pictures with her.The box has 3 bags; which between them have 419 pieces, a sheet of stickers and 4 minifigs. The minifigs would work well if the quarantine has you making a lego thunderdome.The car itself is easy to build and uses a lot of holed techno style parts. following the glossy instruction book. It was my first Ninjago set and, aside the mad max minifigs,the bricks are in neon colors I haven’t seen before.The car looks great when done; the wheels are particularly nice. I’m a little surprised it doesnt have the spring shooters my niece takes pleasure in firing at me.It also has some mechanics in it so that sticking the sword into the top and turning it makes the big yellow blades move into wings. The wheels also articulate under the car so you have a plane with a pink windshield.Its an easy build; and clearly a fun toy to play with. Its not the most expensive lego set and you end up with a fun car, plane and 4 unusual minifigs.

My eldest daughter (age 7), who has been into Ninjago since the early series and has loads of the sets from the TV show and movie, was slightly bamboozled by this set and wasn't familiar with the theme or characters at all. Looking into it, it's based on the 'Prime Empire' theme from the latest series which, as I write this, I don't believe has been shown in the UK yet. I'm sure she'll lap it up the same as the previous Ninjago series' when it comes out.Unfamiliarity with the time aside, this set was eagerly assembled over the course of an hour or so, and the 8+ age range more or less hits the mark. Any younger Lego proficient hands will manage fine. That said, the car/plane itself does have slightly Technic feel to it,with some of the parts and the mechanism. It's a visible step-up from the previous Ninjago sets we've got here. With that more advanced construction you of course get a more playable piece once build, and this one has some good moving parts.Overall this is a really good kit, and once the Prime Empire series is more well-known I'd guess it will be a popular piece.

When I first saw this set, I didn't care, I hated it, it looked terrible because of the flatness of the front. The more I looked at it, the more I liked it. It is actually a really good set! The mini figures are well made, though the white on Kai's body and leg are a little pink-ish. Scott looks fantastic and the Red Visors are great too. I like the function of the wings coming out, the wheels can move up and down too. (I like to have them clicked 3 times downwards to make it look like it's flying.) The price I feel is good too.But, aside from all those positives, it is quite sticker heavy, and without the stickers, this set would look very ugly. I really do think it needs them.The opening compartment is too small too, not that much could really be done about it and the 1x2 sloped corner tiles don't stay on well when you try to open it.Overall, I'd give this set a 8/10 for looks, play ability, cost and mini figures.

This is a great and not so small Lego set that will kids (and adults) occupied for many days. Very useful, especially now during the lockdown when children spend way too much time in front of the laptops and tablets doing school work.My daughter was not a ninja fan but she does karate so I thought she would enjoy this set and I was right.The box comes with many rare bricks and figurines that do not come with any other set so this is always a big plus for us since we have lots of sets and always look for pieces we don’t have yet.For now, we are going to keep the set separate from other bricks since the car is very nice but it will eventually end up in boxes with a mishmash of all Lego bricks,which is not a bad thing. My daughter likes to create her own things and usually mixing up all sets anyways…

We are not familiar with Ninjago, though I don't think this detracted from the thrill of the build and the role play playing that has pretty much not stopped since it was finished.The Lego pieces are lovely and bright and they come together to form a stunning looking car and plane. The moving parts change smoothly and the transformation from and back again car to plane looks impressive. The minifigures finish off the set nicely and really amp up the imaginative play.I am impressed with how well the car is staying together even though t is played with rather a lot. Comparing it to another Lego car we have that falls apart as soon as anyone breathes near it,the Ninjago set is definitely less frustrating and more entertaining.

Another excellent product by Lego that my Lego fanatic grandson had built in no time.To be honest he's 11 years old and maybe to easy for him but perfect for the correct age group 8 years plus.The Ninja Tuner car is amazing and the figurines awesome.He loves the armoured vehicle especially when the wheels flip under the car in flight.Always great quality and very educational and approved with parents and long may Lego continue.Another excellent product by Lego that my grandson is hooked with.The only down side his bedroom you can't move for Lego which as resulted in a few arguments but Ben just goes for more ??.Absolutely highly recommending,great for present buying for us annoying grandparents.

Another good product from Lego. Got this for our 12yr old, he said it was relatively easy to put together but there is alot of pieces and the instructions were very long. Younger children or children not to used to Lego will need supervision as there are many tiny pieces.Overall it is a good toy though, good size vehicle and little ninjago characters to go with it. He's pleased with it but for him it's more of an ornament piece rather than something he will play with but for younger children it is a good toy and any ninjago fan would be pleased.Thank you for reading my review, if it was helpful could you please hit the helpful button ? This is one of the better Lego sets I've seen at this price, where you're getting an excellent toy, which is fun to use consistently, mainly because it's a car, essentially, but also because of the size and the limited extras you get, which are all great and compliment the car.This is all a really complicated way fo saying my nephew absolutely loved this, was building it literally a minute after having opened it and it's a mainstay in his frequently used toys, which is all you can ask for really!

As always these lego toys are excellent to build , the instructions are very simple to read and my son had no issues in building the set with little help , it took us around 2 hours , the car itself is very well designed transforming from a tuner car to a flying ship with wings that you can fold out and the wheels which tuck under for a much better look, I like the fact you can now get these instructions on a tablet and follow them that way that's a very good idea, overall my son has love it !

This Lego set box was eagerly waited for by mu Dad, who maybe in mid 80’s but a very keen Lego builder.This box is well presented with excellent instructions. In the box are weaponised Ninja Tuner Car with blades that sprout by twisting the Key-Tana and transform it into a flying battle car toy. Along with four minifigures fighting in the game: Digi Kai, Scott and two Red Visors.Like all Lego kits this is well produced, robust and fun to build.Top value.

I would definitely recommend this Lego set my son enjoyed building it with his dad the instructions were easy to follow and his favourite part was playing with the finished toy which he had hours and hours of fun with which easily transforms from driving to flying mode by flipping under the wheels and spreading out the blades. Everything was smooth from start to finish there are no downsides to this item.

Lots of fun and a away to keep the kids busy for minimum of 2 hours. My son found the Lego amazing as he can build different things with it. It gives kids creative ideas as they can engineer and build different things with this Lego. My son enjoyed as it gave him hours of fun. This Lego set can always be used against other Lego sets and build something big.

So this Ninjago Tuner car is awesome! I love the shaping and colors. If you like what you see in the pictures you will love this set. I personally love the shaping with a wider front that tapers out to the back. I also find the grey with black body color with the pinch and neon blue highlights a plus. It is very big for its price and I really like it.
