Clever Lego--introducing the current craze for Minecraft; and these interactive sets are great fun and stimulate imagination more than static Lego sets. Minecraft character Steve is trying to access the valuable minerals inside the bat cave and has to blast his way in with TNT whilst carrying his ladder and iron pickaxe. The "explosion" causes the TNT to fly into the air and Steve might think it's plain sailing from now on, but he has to contend with a huge but very cute bat (hangs upside down, true to form) and a Zombie and a baby Zombie who send big rocks crashing down to try to scare Steve away.Steve's safety helmet is included but no sign of high-viz jackets or steel toecap boots,

This toy is great for beginners because the instructions are very simple but the set is still quite fun, I have never built a lego set before, but I figured this out rather easily. I love the design because it is very accurate to an actual Minecraft cave. I like that the figures look a lot like they do in the game, but the heads are rather large so it's difficult for me to raise their hands past their heads. Besides this very small problem, this is an overall great set and it is very fun to play with.

Who does not love Minecraft. The Lego Minecraft range is excellent, you can build and play-out the wondrous scenes from the Tell Tale series if you so desire. My son collects the Minecraft minifigures and he loves the baby zombie. The Bat looks great and it has a little lever to throw the TNT.Great set and easy to build looks very good with other Minecraft sets. Also good thing about Lego and Minecraft is, it is all about creating and building so both work hand-in-hand.Highly Recommended.

This is a good wee Minecraft set. A pretty easy build, highlights for me in terms of pieces were the little bat, and the baby creeper.The actual set size is OK, I find with any of the Lego Minecraft sets you're overpaying for what you get - a fiver cheaper would've probably been more appropriate, and certainly the more likely cost if it was a non-franchise Lego set.However, hits the mark with the kids if they love Minecraft, and you can never have enough creepers in your Lego collection!

On the surface the Minecraft Lego seems incredibly simple, when compared to some of the more elaborate franchises. But I suppose that is the point - this Lego is aimed at Minecraft fans, and when my niece took delivery of this she was over the moon. Fans can then act out in the real world, their online adventures.Build time was around 30 minutes, and this would be a perfect gift for a child between 6-11 year old.

Built by my 9yr old son, this is his review.I enjoyed building this first new set I've bought in the new range. It was an easy set to build and is fun to play with. I especially like the gravel trap which allows the blocks to fall into the lava below. The exploding TNT block is cool and the tiny bat is a great new figure. Have fun building!

We are new to Lego Minecraft but we will definitely be buying more in the future, thanks to this kit. Our eight year old absolutely loves t. Of course it’s Lego so it’s great quality and you get a decent amount of bricks for the money. It’s a good value starting pack for anyone wanting to get into this range of Lego. Highly recommend.

Lego have brought to life the very popular video game, MINECRAFT. This small set allows one to kill a baby Zombie with an axe. ERM ! on that one. But being Lego, a child playing with this set could create friendly zombies and everyone can get along fine together.The Amazon pictures show exactly what you're getting.

Combining Lego with the Minecraft theme is a guaranteed winner and this set, whilst quite small is excellent fun.We loved the TNT blast function with the lever for sending the rocks tumbling down, the zombie and baby zombie figures are great, but for me the star of the set is the brilliantly cute bat figure!

This is a good Lego kit. You get two action features - a slide out section in the ceiling which allows gravel/boulders to fall down into the cave, and a push button to make a TNT block fly out.You can fight with a zombie and baby zombie as well as mine for diamond ores, coal and gold.

Just the kit to motivate my either year old grandson who is a real Minecraft fan. Lots of small Minecraft models to build with clear pictorial instructions to follow and within a few minutes he was doing them without any help and got very absorbed in it. Well pleased.

I have brought this Minecraft Lego set for little brother’s Christmas present so I haven’t built it yet but I’m looking forward to seeing what it looks like when it’s together. Looking forward to seeing all the moving features in action. I think he will loved it.

Item and price great but badly packed for shipping in a plastic bag (especially as came from Italy according to tracking!). No wonder it was damaged, amazed it wasn’t worse!!It’s a real shame as it’s for a birthday present and doesn’t look great with damage..

It's a great lego set, the only problem (as with all lego) is that it is always so expensive. This is perfect for any minecraft fan though and because it's lego you can easily expand on it with your own bricks or connect it up to other minecraft lego sets.

Bought this for my 6 year old grandson who is very much into Minecraft. He finds Lego quite difficult but loved putting it together with his dad and plays with it a lot. I think he got a lot of satisfaction in assembling it. A good birthday present.
