This set contains the minifig “Blista” from the Bat Tribe, a speedor, a small structure, 5 Chi-pins, 6 CHI crystals and 5 game-cards.The minifig Blista is of course the best past of this set. (“Chima” has become my favorite theme because of the minifigs. And this set is another example of that.) The Blista minifig is simply..beautiful! Very nice printing on his torso (back and front) . The bat symbol on his torso is great! Decent printing on his legs. (One thing I don’t like about LEGO minifigs is there is NEVER any printing on the side of the torso and rarely on the hands.) The headpiece is awesome. That’s the main thing which makes the minifig fantastic. The bat-wings, that you attach to the minifig,are simply marvelous! (And you get two more that are attached to the speedor). Now one complaint that I have here is that you have to separately attaché the bat-wings to the body of the minifig. I wish that the wings were part of the body , so that the overall look would be better and more natural. And another disadvantage in the current way of fitting the wings , is that you HAVE to use the armor to attach the wings and the armor covers the beautiful printing on the torso!Now, generally bats are black or brown but I don’t understand why LEGO chose a purplish-blue color for the bats? Also, the bat-wings are black , which is different from the body color of Blista. At least LEGO should have used the same color bat-wings as the color of the minifig’s body!The CHI crystals are very nice. The game-cards are decent.The CHI pins are ok. The small structure with two big bat-wings at the end is not bad. Those into MOCs (especially Batman fans) can find a decent amount of bricks here to use.The objective of the speedor here is nothing that great. You have to make the speedor jump over the bat-structure, using a ramp and knock over the chi-pins. The player who knocks the most gets to pick the card and you know the rest. Overall, the speedor game (which is actually a card-game in the end) is a bit of a let-down, I feel. I wish LEGO would have made the speedor game more creative, fun and exciting.Now coming to the speedor. The speedor is faulty. The reason I’m saying this? Well, most of the times, when I “ran” the speedor (by pulling the rip cord though it), the speedor used to TUMBLE , after going some distance. And it happened most of the times. Maybe the bat-wings attached to the side of the speedor was causing the problem but still. I don’t know how come LEGO released such a product that has a noticeable flaw that hampers playability. Overall, I think LEGO needs to improve the design of their speedor else people will definitely one day stop buying speedors.The packaging for the speedor is clumsy. Could have been better. But at least it’s a slight improvement over last year’s speedor packaging. And another irritating thing is, that the instruction manual was folded and hence out-of-shape. The packaging should be such that instruction manual should fit as it is , without being folded, into the box. Hope LEGO takes care of this in the future Speedor sets.In the end, I would say that the ONLY good thing about this set is the Blista minifig. And since I’m a die-hard Chima fan, I’ll buy a lot more of this to create my bat tribe. Recommend this set ONLY for Chima fans and for those who collect good minifigs.
