This is another great set from Lego, the Robo-T-Rex being my particular highlight!I do think Lego is shocking expensive for what essentially amount to a bunch of plastic bricks and, at £80, this is no exception. I have previously deducted a star for this but I feel it's just an accepted fact now, Lego is expensive so will rate this purely on the strength of the product. To be fair, you do get a lot in this one, enough to warrant two separate booklets. The dingy is fun to build and comes with the four mini-Raptors from the movie. It's easily the simplest aspect of the set. The big Mech-TRex takes quite some time but is a fun build and very satisfying when you finally pop the head onto the body!He is also very poseable so you can move the legs, toes, arms, head, tail and jaw.The volcano is quite involved and has a number of parts that will eventually all slot together. This part was mildly frustrating as I found bits kept coming apart when using the sliding mechanism at first so, for younger children, this may require some assistance. It's pretty coll once done though, pull the slider and the volcano will separate to reveal the treasure chest within! This is quite a large set and one of the most fun I've had in a while. I spent at least three hours getting this made of a few weeks and enjoyed it all!

And so Lego's obsession with producing multiple minifigure incarnations of Chris Pratt continues. I think, at this point, he holds the now unbreakable record of being Lego-fied more than any other actor when you consider all of the Jurassic World, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Lego Movie sets produced. Quite a feat, honestly. This is honestly one of the coolest Lego sets I have had in a while, featuring a T-Rex and a Robot T-Rex facing off. Not a scene that happened in either movie (or ANYTHING envisioned by Michael Crichtron) but I am fine with artisic licence in this regard. Despite containing several large components, the box is mostly full of smaller parts so if you have kids this is probably something that the older kid builds while the younger sibling helps.Four minifigures, including Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, Vic Hoskins, and Danny Nedermeyer are included, as well as four baby raptor versions of Blue, Delta, Echo, and Charlie, two bats, and a volcano. As a standalone set your kids will get hours of play and fighting out of this and it might be the best of the Jurassic World theme. 5/5 for sure.FYI, the correct name for this set is the "T. rex vs Dino-Mech Battle".

What a fantastic Lego set. Really impressive throughout and the usual quality build and easy to follow instruction booklets (2 booklets for 7 bags including the T Rex so plenty to keep your young one busy). The T Rex model may slightly annoy Lego purists as it's arguably "not really lego" it comes in a handful of large pre moulded sections so more of a model than a Lego build. That said, it looks awesome and the separate robotic dinosaur model is more traditional Lego and a great design. As well as a cool looking robot dinosaur it also can be made to look like other cool things like an aeroplane with rotablades....just what Lego is all about, letting your imagination run wild. There's a few nice figures and a cool dingy boat with guns. The coolest bit is probably the volcano with treasure inside. The design is really clever in that you can pull the right and left hand sections apart to reveal the treasure which runs on a little sliding track as if appearing out of the middle of the mountain. My son has spent hours building and playing with this set and it's definitely one of the best we've seen.

This set was great to put together .As a like long fan of Jurassic Park , The T-rex Mech controlled by Danny Nedermeyer was a joy to put together. Its very easy to pose , although the toes sometimes pop off , it might be part of the play function as the actual dinosaur included in this set is definitely meant to take this mech down .The mech has a large number of stickers but these add great detail and remind one of the colour scheme used on the Ford Explorers from Jurassic Park .The Minifigs included are great with Danny being a standout and he has some great expressions. The inclusion of new colours for the baby raptors was also a great touch .A major inclusion and one for completists is the re colour of the T rex .The volcano build is nice and had a great play feature which i wont spoil . But the Mech and T rex really are the stars here and will make a wonderful if ....deadly edition to any Lego fans Jurassic World

This Jurassic-world themed set from LEGO offers a twist on the usual specific theme by including a great big mecha-dinosaur! There is also a regular T-Rex and 4x of the regular LEGO figurines (3x male and 1x female) of the real-world skin-tone variations as opposed to the traditional yellow-skin models. The volcano model is a nice if slightly quirky addition, throwing the scale off slightly in the overall playset, but it’s different. Also, there is a dinghy and 4x baby dinos. It is quite a distinctive set and all the little bits in it can help fuel a water imaginative storyline for playtime. There isn’t a price on Amazon at the time of my review, but I always find these sort of themed LEGO sets rather pricey and not great value for money.I wouldn’t be surprised if it retailed for around £70-80 but to my mind it’s worth around £40-50.

This is a great set, but loses a star because it is undeniably expensive for what it is. Most of the construction work is in the robot-dino which is a great design with a cockpit compartment for a Lego person to ride in, but the other parts are less exciting. The boat is a repeat of many Lego boats we've had in sets before and the animal T-rex is only made of a few parts. Although my nearly 8-year-old son loves putting these together, he does them far too quickly (just over an hour with this one) and then the novelty of the figures wears off after a couple of days. Making it quite expensive entertainment! In comparison we bought the Lego Creator VW Camper Van for about the same price which is age 16+ and has twice the number of parts and an intricate design that kept my son and husband entertained for the whole of the Chrismas period.

This is a terrific set. It is Jurassic World and as the logo is that of the film obviously linked in. It comes with six packs of Lego to put together and three dinosaur sections. It is going to my eldest granddaughter who is 9 and loves Lego. This will test her skills to the limit as it is going to take a long time to put together. My daughter, who was brought up on Lego, loves it still and she and her eldest will probably sit down and do this together. I think it is a brilliant set of Lego and comes with two instructions booklets, first one over 100 pages and the second over 60 so this will need plenty of parental help unless your child is a Lego Genius.Every time I review Lego I say it is the Best.Well it is and I shall carry on saying it.

I got this for my husband, he does love his lego and his dinosaurs! There are four figures and two dinosaurs, one of these being the dino mech. There's also a dinghy with weapon accessories and a volcanic mountain. This last one is my favourite, as it opens up to reveal burning lava and a horde of gold coins! This is by far the best Lego set he's had, it came securely boxed with the different pieces well wrapped in four bags. The instructions, as always, were easy to follow. It's expensive, but if you are a collector or just enjoy building stuff, it's well worth the money. Though I would say, I'd save it for a special present next time!

It's dinosaurs and lego! This is a detailed build and lots of fun if you want something to get your teeth into. This is one of our favourite lego kits. The dinosaurs are great and the volcano opens up. It takes hours to build and there's a lot of fun imaginative play to be had afterwards. It's a pricey £80 at time of review and I can't understand lego pricing and why it's always so ridiculously high. I personally don't think mass produced lumps of moulded plastic are worth that but there you go...4 stars because the fun factor is high but the price doesn't feel fair.

This lego set is very epic as you get 1 trex and mecha trex whats better than that! The mecha trex desgin is almost the same when they put it on a tv show and is very smooth and you can use parts of the body to attach to your dinos like the head of a trex stuck onto the mecha trex. The volcano is very clever no issues with that. The only issue with its toes they keep on falling off but can be fixed with a little bit of bluetac. This is a good set and you should buy.

This took my daughter a couple of hours to build and she really enjoyed the process and the results - the hidden element in the volcano is a winner and the poseable dinosaurs have great play value. Bit of a mix of films going on theme wise, and a few big pieces - the ones in the volcano are a bit annoying, but it’s Lego, it’s dinosaurs and albeit ambitiously priced for the amount of pieces, we still love it.

Absolutely cracking set this. If you have kids that love Lego and dinosaurs (and who doesn’t) then this is going to be a winner. One dinosaur which is more model than traditional Lego is accompanied by a mecha-saur which is awesome. There’s also a boat, a volcano, mini figures - so much fun. Younger kids may need some help but my 11 year old loved having time alone to complete it himself.

Being a massive lego & jurassic fan this set is brilliant :) at 31 I have these as enjoy making & displaying them because I'm a big child at heart. On a kids front I can see this being a good toy with the cave opening & closing, as well as parts moving on both dinosaurs (mechanic and real looking). Definitely recommend to any jurassic & lego fan :)

Although a bit expensive, this is an excellent Lego set - comes with 2 dinosaurs and a couple of other pieces. Overall it's a large set, up to the usual Lego standard of quality and will keep young (and old) children busy for a while! It's not that technical to make but great fun and a little more varied than other Lego sets.

What's not to like about this its lego and r'awesome. It comes with two very cool dinosaurs and a good build too.My son is so happy with this as he's dino mad, lots of play potential and a reasonable sized set for the price, totally worth it, just for the dinosaurs
