The children I nanny for have had this toy for about a month now and from the day they got it has been a firm favourite. It is the only toy they will play co-operatively with, because it has so many peices.The five year old likes to build the zoo and play imaginatively with the animals, and the two year old likes to build brick towers and arrange all the animals along the table in size order.The only thing they argue over is the crocodile: it has a moving mouth which you can put food into. If only another of the animals in the zoo did this too!I bought them the polar zoo and it makes a great add-on, as both sets have some of those see-through bricks and it has great little slides to put the penguins through.Great quality,

This set is full of more interesting bits of duplo - fewer plain bricks and more animals and other items. This set includes a family of lions, an elephant, a giraffe, a crocodile, animal food (carrots and steak), a jeep, zookeepers, a tree, a hollow rock/animal hiding place, fencing, a zoo sign and ticket booth. There are probably a couple more bits I have forgotten, but that is the gist of it. The animals are nicely made and very robust. Purchased this kit for my 2.5 yr old daughter, she was delighted when I showed her the box and enjoyed me opening all the different packs to assemble.Whilst she wasn't able to assemble the set properly by herself she did enjoy sticking bricks etc together and playing with the animals, once it was set up as a 'zoo' then her imagination took over which was great to see, to me that's what lego is all about, I have fond memories of playing with lego and I hope she will develop a keen interest with the excellent Duplo range as an introduction.

Lego really is a great product, my 2 year old loves to build high towers with the lego duplo blocks. She doesn't play much with the figures in this set on her own, but we use them a lot when we play together with her. The set comes in a very large box, and it can seem a bit disappointing in size when unpacked. But it has great play value and the blocks are almost unbreakable, the painted details on the figures also seems extremely durable.This is a toy that can last for several generations!

A perfect toy that helps kids to grow up right, learn and love nature and animals which are very important factors for their life to be healthy. Besides our kid, we (mam and dad) love to play again and again with this. It especially makes dad to be a kid again after 38 years.As we bought the whole set of zoo series, we absolutely recommend this set for every family.Ending my review I thik there is no need to say about the top quality and the excellence of LEGO toys in the depth of time!!!

After reading reviews on Amazon, bought this for my grandson's 2nd birthday. He (and I) am delighted with it. He and his 8 year old cousin were kept amused by it and they particularly loved the snapping crocodile! Product is very well made, looks very durable and easy to keep clean, although expensive. I will definitely be buying 'add-ons' for this as he will get years of use and enjoyment out of it.

This says it's suitable for children aged 2 to 5; I'd have said 2 to 4, myself. But for that age group, it's great fun: lots of variety, nice large, durable, objects with no sharp edges. I wouldn't say this has any serious educational value - the animals are too cartoonish for that - but otherwise highly recommended.

I bought this for my great niece who is 2. She played with it immediately it was out of the wrapper, and despite the box being as big as her, insisted on carrying it out the door when she went home. It was a big success and I have bought her the polar zoo for Christmas to add to it. Highly recommended.

This product went down well with our 2.5 year old grandson. I was surprised at the size of the box. Maybe that should be included in the details. He has some Duplo Lego already, so was straight into playing with it as soon as the box was opened. A bit expensive, but worth the effort.

My grandson has enjoyed playing with this toy. With Lego you know exactly what you are going to get and this was as I expected. A good toy that is durable and provided good play value and you can be confident it will not break.Toy arrived safely and in good condition.

I bought this for Christmas for My 3year old grandson. He loves building up the zoo and uses lots of his imagination when playing with it. Gets hours of fun and enjoyment from it. Very colourful and easy to build your own invention. Glad I got it.

This product is always great quality & very durable. My grand daughter is two years old, she loves the stuff. Duplo has been around for years my kids loved the stuff & now my grand children love to play with this stuff as well.

This is a great hit with young children. it enhances hand eye co ordination and imagination. having already bought one for my daughter my grandson then wanted one so i knew what i was looking for.

HOW CAN YOU NOT GIVE LEGO A GOOD REVIEW? MY 40 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER STILL LOVES IT AND THIS WAS BOUGHT FOR HER DAUGHTER. I WONDER WHO IS GOING TO PLAY WITH IT? BOTH WILL THOROUGHLY ENJOY IT.

My Granddaughter and my best mates son have both received this Duplo set from myself and think it's wonderful. Hopefully many hours of fun and learning to come.
