Lots of fun for an 18 month old's Christmas. Lots of potential for animal noises and recreating familiar scenarios. We added this to our (extensive) collection and the recipient's older siblings built her a pond for the ducks, which inspired a park, then a river, then a mill.... Can't fault duplo - hours of play for years! (For everyone!) Yes, duplo is relatively expensive and you have to time your purchase well for the best value; however, 8 years on and we're (all) still playing with the duplo bought for our oldest child. It's worth the investment.

All Duplo is good quality. The ducks are no exception. I find Duplo (and other stages of Lego) a bit pricey (which is why it's a 4-star review instead of 5) considering it is simply moulded plastic, but it will last a good while and will be played with a lot.

So popular with my granddaughter that th duck goes everywhere with her. Perfect for the small hands of a 15month old!
