What’s not to love about this kit! Well, actually a couple of things, but mostly it’s love. The other bits I’ll get to later.Firstly the set revolves around Lex’s signature kryptonite powered exo suit and it’s a big suit! It’s fully poseable, it’s pretty stable with its big feet, the fingers move around independently, Lex’s pod detaches well, and the weapon on top actually fires pretty well, unlike most Lego projectiles. The only slight downside of that of course is that the studs it fires are tiny and easily lost, which isn’t at all desirable if they might be found by curious toddlers or pets. However Lego IS tiny pieces and if you lose a few kryptonite studs there are quite a few spares included.Secondly you get another mini machine in the form of Batman’s glider, which is nicely to scale alongside Lex’s tech suit and holds Batman well. It has its own poseable engines and projectile firing weapons on the top, plus cool fire effect pieces for the jets.In terms of mini-figures, there are five in this kit. Batman, Firestorm, Cheetah, Lex Luthor and Wonder Woman. So a great selection and many of which are new, like Firestorm, Cheetah and Batman in a new suit. One or two slight criticism though are that Batman’s backpack causes his head to pop up a bit. Why Lego didn’t increase the hole size on this piece to allow to fit around the neck instead of raising it up is a bit of a mystery really. The other little issues are that Wonder Woman doesn’t come with a sword and has no bulletproof wristbands painted on and Superman is missing. It’s Lex, so where’s The Man of Steel to combat him? These are tiny nerd points though that probably aren’t really going to bother most of its targeted audience of 7-14 year olds too much.Minor criticisms aside, this kit is a ton of fun! Firestorm with his customisable fire bits, the other figures and the centre piece Lex exo suit are awesome! And you get a lot of kit for the price. It is a little tricky in places, but what a great excuse to have some parent child bonding time in working out how to put it together, or to challenge an enquiring mind.Great kit and great value.

This set is great. I have a few things I don't like, but I'll go over those later.Pros:-A really fun mech build with an escape pod that's easily removable but also stays in nicely.-A spectacular range of all exclusive minifigures, all of which are either brand new characters entirely or new variants of existing characters-Some AMAZING special effect pieces (in orange to simulate fire blasts)-Firestorm. He's one of my favourite DC characters and I'm really happy to have him as an official LEGO minifig, and that LEGO are making more obscure characters. Though he has appeared in the CW's Arrowverse TV shows a lot, like Killer Frost and Reverse Flash, who are also released in this wave.-All for a really reasonable price, when I first heard about this set I was expecting it to be £50 easily.Cons:-I don't really like Batman's minifigure in this set, nor do I like his oversized jetpack build.-I personally don't like the mech's green and purple colour scheme, but this isn't too big of an issue as I had parts from other sets to replace all the visible coloured pieces to make it different.-For the first time since the LEGO Superheroes theme started, this set doesn't come with a comic book. I hope the comics haven't been cancelled for good as they were a fun part of the theme that set it apart from the others. All in all, definitely one of the best sets LEGO DC Superheroes has released. Ever. A vast improvement over the 2012 mech. I'd definitely recommend this to any Lego, DC, and/or mech fan!

Another great DC Lego set. I particularly like this set as you get some great Lego minifigures; five to speak of, Lex Luthor, Batman (in Rebirth Batsuit), Wonder Woman, Firestorm and Cheetah. I particularly love the Batman figure as it is pretty rare. The Lex Luthor Mech is very nice and looks amazing when fully built. It comes with some nice pieces of translucent orange Lego pieces to customise your mech and builds. The overall Mech size is good, looks very similar to a Ninjago Mech, but it is a Lex Luthor Mech with colours to prove it.Great set and would make an excellent addition for a DC Lego fan, like myself.Highly recommended set and you get five minifigures, so it is a bargain, considering one figure sells for four-five pounds.

Compared to some of the Ninjago mechs this mech is ugly, although it does have a lot of stability and can be posed without falling over. The cockpit can be detached and it has a stud shooter on top. I prefer the build from set 6862 even though it was smaller and had less pieces. The grey batsuit is not as appealing as the black batsuits from other sets. The standout figure in this set is Firestorm. The included Power Bursts can be attached to Batman's Bat Glider and the Firestorm minifigure. This set offers collectors the opportunity to acquire the Cheetah and Firestorm minifigures although these figures will probably be able to be purchased individually very soon.

My daughter absolutely loved this set.She loves Lego at the moment and didn't care that this was a "boys" set.She got straight to work with her dad and after a couple of days it was finished. It was fairly easy to do for her as a 6 year old. She only had the most basic of her dads help.Good quality set as usual from Lego.Worth every penny. I just wish those pennies weren't so much.

This is a good little toy for kids who like the characters from DC Comics. It comes with a good selection of little characters who are in the stories that Lex Luthor originates from (Superman). It would make a good collection type present for a DC Comics fan. As usual with Lego the pieces fit together perfectly and really look like the character. I think it's excellent.

A long way from the Lego of my youth, where you built what you liked from a few basic bricks, this remains great fun. With five mini-figures, there's plenty of scope for imaginative storylines and innovative play.

It’s a great set with a fair few mini figures. The big Lex Luthor suit is quite fun to build and to play with, but the set is really quite expensive if you’re paying full price.
