Masterpiece - if I was to describe this set in one word.I have been looking after this set since release, but due to the price I was hesitant - now that I bought this set on a Black Friday discount, I just wish I got it earlier - it is absolutely worth the RRP, all things considered.Building process - 5/5Parts are in numbered bags so you can easily split it to your own needs. Assembled parts are sturdy enough to move elsewhere - which was important to me, as I assembled this with my daughters on the kitchen table throughout the week, and wife wouldn't be happy with table full of Lego for the week. Some reviewers say that building process is repetitive - I disagree here, yes, there is a lot of similar supports to do, but these are spread throughout the building process and it's good opportunity for kids to practice lego building.I was not bored for a second, and in fact you have to be careful not to miss any part, as well as not tigther any gearing which might impact ride.Sturdiness - 5/5One of the things that I judge Lego is how sturdy model is once assembled and played with - after all, you don't want constantly rebuild and risk loosing small parts. This set is incredibly sturdy - you can easily move it whole using both hands as single person, you can easily split it into two sections if need to move through limited space (such as loft hatch), and so far I've had not a single request from my daughters to put anything together - quite amazing considering amount of parts, complexity and sheer size.It is brilliant example of Lego engineering, despite very few Technics pieces (just axles really).Visuals - 5/5Impressive would be an understatement - everything about this set is epic - from size, through amazing details (too many to mention!) all throughout the set - all the way to how great it looks when motorised and running.Functions and playability - 5/5It is truly amazing how smooth this rollercoaster is. I've motorised the set and left it running for hour, there wasn't a single jam - combination of smooth tracks and wheels is just perfect. My daughters can spend hours at a time playing with it - switch frequently between motor to hands cranking, running multiple cars at a time or joining cars into longer sets.Value - 5/5Amount of pieces, unique parts, amazing building process and play ability factors make this set for me as best value for money in all sets I've had - despite the price. If you can afford it - don't hesitate, you won't regret.

My 9 year old daughter spent 5 days after Xmas in Lego heaven building this set. Do not underestimate the complexity of the 4000+ pieces but if you follow the instructions carefully it makes the best set ever! The only problem is what to build next!

This is a fantastic set that was bought for and Adult Lego fan. They spent about 17 hours building this very large set. Every day it is just as entertaining to wind the carriages to the top of the coaster and let it fly round.
