My son loves his hard plastic marble run. However it got a little boring and inflexible. We saw a Chinese Skyrail system when out shopping. We purchased it but it had diabolical instructions and was missing pieces - we were offered this set instead.What a revelation - the instructions included were for a fairly dull layout. My wife commented "Is that it?". So we took it all apart - then we built something using available things in our house - tables, chairs, pillows, string and books as props and supports. Amazing! With a few simple components you can make some epic layouts. When we took it on a cruise recently, there was soon an elaborate network of loops, and spirals to get between the bunks and sofas.

We bought this for my 6yr old at Christmas - and will be adding another set for his birthday later this month. It is just an incredible toy. Over Christmas his Grandfather and father were as gripped as he was making the loop-the-loop work, then figuring how to get it into the bend and stay on the rials.He's kept busy for hours inventing new tracks, working out which bits aren't working and why, how to make the marbles run faster/slower etc. He has no idea he's working with Physics principles!And then, to beat it all, he can go to bed and look at his track glowing in the dark in his room. Can't recommend it enough.

Bought this for my six year old grandson for Christmas, but I think it is more appropriate for an older child as the tracks are quite flimsy and it takes a great deal of patience - and some engineering skills! - to set up. The instructions are not helpful, in fact they don't even seem to refer to this set. Once it was set up, with much help from dad and grandad, then it was great fun to race the marbles down the track. However it didn't last long as, being on the floor, it didn't survive two boisterous grandsons. Hopefully it will come into its own when the boys are older.

7 year old daughter loved it. Took us under an hour to get used to the pieces and build the track as shown in the example. After that she has built numerous tracks designs of her own, with minimal adult help (sometimes need strong fingers to get support pieces apart). Will definitely be buying another kit from quercetti to go with it

My six year old son loves this and will play with it for hours. It's incredibly flexible and so far we've managed to mix it with an older wooden marble run and also a hot wheels loop the loop. Unfortunately the rail supports break easily, otherwise I would give it five stars

I bought this for my daughter (aged 7) and she loves it. The track can be configured in numerous ways and it is fun to see if your creations work or if the marbles go shooting off.A great old fashioned toy that still has the power to amuse today's techno kids.

This is a fab toy, ideal for age 6 plus (depending on how much assistance you want to give) and encourages teamwork and precision. The parts are well built and fit together logically, with plenty of variation. Excellent value for money and it gets lots of play.

My son aged 6 loves this. He says it's fantastic. He can put it together himself, and spends hours making different tracks.You do have to be a bit careful dismantling it. We did break a piece of track, but once we got the technique we managed fine.

Purchased as a gift for my nephew. There are lots of parts in the box (150 to be precise!) so he had hours of fun putting the roller coaster together, pulling it apart again, and making a different shape for the circuit.

This is a brilliant toy. It's versatile, you can do loops and build lots of different tracks. It's great for many children and gets them teamworking! It's robust and comes with a book with ideas - great value for money.

This kit is fantastic. There are lots of YouTube videos of magnificent runs to inspire you. More suitable for older children 8+ who are patient enough to enjoy the problem solving needed.

bought for my son but I love it as well, very rewarding when assembled and built, balls roll easlily although I think a few more supports would be handy, arrived on time, would recommend.

This is the kind of toy that has two important qualities: It provides lots of fun for the child and it is very educational. My daughter just went crazy!!!!!!!!

my grandson absolutely loves it because you can have different track designs so it keeps an active 7year old boy thinking

My son loved this toy, he likes things he can build. It seems to work well, he had a lot of fun!
