This was a Christmas gift for our five year old Grandson. He is very adept at building intricate complicated marble runs, since he was 3. Bear in mind GraviTrax is recommended for 8 years and over. So if you are buying this for a child that isn’t used to building tracks remember what age it suggested for. My grandson found this challenging at first owing to the complications of building the track. (remember he is 5yrs old) He had a little help from his parents to start with to encourage him. However GraviTrax is a super building set for budding engineers, it gives my grandson great pleasure when he has spent hours building and getting the track to run the marbles. GraviTrax is a good quality,

Well, the Jumper device lifts a marble up by a height of three large and one small tiles (or onto a clear level supported by three large tiles).The problem is that this is pretty much all it does. The marble rolls off at the top with barely enough energy to cross the next hexagon. I tried using a Hammer as that next hexagon, but the marble hardly touched the bottom of the inverted hammer - not enough force to tip it over. What did work was putting a Scoop as the next element as that is triggered by the weight of the marble rather than any horizontal force exerted by the marble. A magnetic cannon would probably work too.Where this device wins over other single-use lifting devices is that once used,

Purchased two of those. First elastic band used had the catapult knocked out of position on the set and the ballbearing cleared the length of the table. We got it working properly after that.A few expansion packs were bought and most were two each, only two sets which weren’t the same item had the white frame supports that weren’t yet popped out the plastic frame like the old model kits. Only those two needed a lump on the same part trimmed with a knife. I’m sure one of them was the catapult.Not a real problem.A fun addition to the set.

We are huge Gravitrax fans and eagerly awaited the cable car. I was slightly disappointed as it falls to pieces quite easily - the construction is quite precarious. BUT if set up well it does work and can be great fun. I would definitely recommend but it is a little frustrating that it isn’t better.

My son had this as an additional peice for his gravitrax starter set. Though he thinks its great i dont feel its worth the money as its just a few pieces that you fix together to make one piece for the track.

Excellent addition. My kids love it (and so do I). Really useful to gain some height to allow the track to go further. Not all the Gravitrax accessories are perfect but this one is great.

You don't get much in the box for the price but you know these two factors ahead of time. The younger ones love gravitrax and so I am committed to this particular ecosystem.

This was a great present for my nephew, there was fast delivery and this was an excellent addition to his GraviTraxi. It was easy to set up and use.

Gravitrax is the most amazing marble run for young and old. This was bought as an addition to the starter set and is brilliant as expected

Arrived with a manufactured defect in 1. Cannot complain the other 2 was ok. Good addition to Gravitrax
