I used to use it to play a ready, steady, go game with my then 2 and a half year old toddler who has speech and language difficulties. It was to get him to learn about turn taking and I used it for speech therapy reasons (getting him to make eye contact with me and we would take turns with the cars). It was a great buy and it came with 4 cars. It was good value for money with the price and it was addictive, used to keep him busy for a while as he watched cars go down the ramp. But now my toddler is 3 years old and has managed to break the ramp. It started coming apart (alrhough i feel it's fixable with super glue) but I would suggest that whoever buys it should look after it well as it is a bit fragile. That's why the 4 stars. But to be really fair my son did throw it a few times so ofcourse...

I bought this for my son's first Birthday and both he and his almost three year old cousin loved playing with it. My son is pretty quick to pick things up and had the little cars going down the track in no time at all (I admit I rather hoped he'd spend a little more time occupied in trying to work it out but never mind!). I would advise caution when giving this to younger children because the cars are rather small and the track is very light and easy to lift, so supervision would be required for smaller toddlers to avoid swallowing and head-bashing. I think this is a toy he will not tire of playing with and it's superb value for money,so I can't recommend it enough for a toddler who enjoys motion and colour.

We really like the design of this racetrack. Our children, 1 year old daughter and 3 year old son, both enjoy playing with it. The cars are placed at the top of the track and flip over at the end of each ramp before running off the bottom ramp. Our son already has another of this type of racetrack and it is worth noting that the cars are not compatible; although they look the same, the wheels are different sizes so each car can only be used on the track it came with. Our son enjoys playing a game where he must always have at least two cars on the track at the same time. This holds his attention for long periods of time and he insists on taking it with him to show people when visiting.

I first encountered this toy at my local library during a stay and play session with my grandaughter. It was a big hit there with all the toddlers.Being the youngest of three there were not many things I could find for my littlest grand child when it came to her birthday.I thought this fitted the bill. Not too girly, pink stinks so I am told, although not by the girls, just parents. The bigger boy cousins at the party wanted to play with this just as much as the girls, I think most things that have wheels are popular, this with it's compact build, and element of thrill and surprise is the toy of first choice in the morning, quiet and low stress for children and parents alike.

Bought this for my son's 1st birthday and he loves it. He can already put the cars on the top - hit and miss as to which round they get plonked on, but at least 50% of the time the cars end up going down the track. The cars rarely get stuck - we've played with other similar tracks where the cars get stuck every few go's and it gets very frustrating. But this track is much more reliable. The cars can travel either way up, making it even easier to get them to travel. The track is smaller than some other brands too, which is a bonus for us as it is more compact and easier to find a place for in the ever-crowded play area.

Well in reality my 1.5 y/o baby was entertained for a solid 35 minutes in a row. And I must admit that the adults were a bit more exited than the baby. After 35 minutes she wanted to do something else. But for her age 35 minutes is a record. After we got tired of the cars we discovered that the track works well with small balls and marbles. The cars are also really interesting on their own. Really good quality toy. Fun bright colors (good for learning color names). She can just about hold all four cars in one hand.Overall a great open ended toy that will last for years.

So pleased I got this for my 1 year old. She loves playing with the cars, and even if she puts them on slightly wonky they still correct themselves as they go down the track. My 3 year old loves playing with it with her, and it does cause laughs and giggles. I love it myself, and it's nice to have a wooden toy that looks great & does what you think it will. The only small concern would be the size of the cars, they are a little bit small for a baby who is still chewing everything, but basically they do seem to be ok.

I got this as a christmas present for my niece (1 1/2 yr old) and she loves it. It's April now and she still plays with it. Bright colours, well designed cars (they only get stuck when she sends blocks down the track too), small enough not to need much storage space but big enough not to get lost amongst her other toys; I'd recommend this as a gift for any child (her play group friends are fond of it too). The only problem is she's already down to two cars (it came with four) so I'll need to get more soon.

I bought this as a last minute Christmas gift for my daughter and it was the one toy which kept her and her cousins (2 and 3 years old) entertained throughout Christmas Day and that they kept going back to play with together. A very satisfying toy, well made and colourful with a nice click clack noise as the cars go zooming down it! Nice too that it’s wooden so it will stay nice for years to come.

Purchased this for my little girl, who is 2½. She likes it a lot! It is very well built, and is made of good quality wood, with a well designed, pretty jungle theme. It comes with 4 different coloured cars, which zoom along the tracks making a nice click-clack sound, which she found most amusing the first time she played with it. This is a very nice toy, that is well made.

Perfect for doing what it says on the tin, my local children's centre has one like it and I couldn't get my lo off it. He is 18 months and really enjoys sending cars down it. I would say that the aging is confused on the website and packaging, it say 36 on the box but I wouldn't worry about that unless your child still puts toys in his mouth as the cars are small.

Excellent Toy that gives my grandson great pleasure. Helps to develop fine motor skills as the cars need to be placed carefully. He has already mastered this. However he gets as much enjoyment from other people feeding the cars onto the track too. ( cars are quite small so don't leave unattended if your child likes to put things in his/her mouth)

Strangely hypnotic to watch the supplied cars rock themselves down the track to the bottom to be ejected at velocity onto the living room floor...This toy is durable, nicely painted and should have lasting appeal! My only criticism would be that the track itself is not particularly long, but this is really a minor point.

Bought this for my 20mth old daughter. She loves it! Comes with four little cars and all lovely bright colours. Took ages to arrive though but worth the wait, she was playing with it soon as it was out of the box. Very lightweight as well so easy for them to carry around if they want to. Would recommend and order again.

Lovely simple toy in vibrant colours. Purchased for a one year old who loves it. Will look lovely on a shelf too. Only negative is that there is nowhere to store the cars when not in use - some sort of grooves in the base where they could be rested would have been great.
