Great buy. It has a variety of different shaped pieces which are easy to put together. I bought this for my 4 year old nephew for his birthday, we sat and built a large marble run using all of the pieces, then knocked it down and built lots of smaller ones. You get a lot of brightly coloured plastic balls which was great as you can drop a handful of balls in the top and watch them race down rather than just one at a time. I don't know who had more fun with it the 4year old or me and my sister

The design is well thought out and interesting.Instructions are a list of parts labelled A-M, and a 1 picture diagram of the tower . As you can't assemble any parts upside down due to the way they fit together, and using logic that the track must face upwards to hold the ball, it's not hard to follow. When assembled as per picture, 80cm at tallest point. Footprint is 48cm x 30 cm.Parts in the instructions are lettered A-M which is moulded on each piece to help you identify them.

Bought this for my 3 year old and it has proved to be a big hit with grown ups as well. With 100 parts in the box there is a wealth of combinations of construction, from tall towers to smaller multiple builds to allow marble racing against each other.Inter-tower parts are fairly sturdy but the tower sections are weaker so supported building (normally in triangular shapes) is advised for really big constructions. The supplied marbles are smaller than standard glass ones which don't work.

I bought this for my sons best friend for his 3rd Birthday, it looked that good when set up I bought it for my son and put it away for his birthday! Its so much bigger than expected. But they've had hours of fun playing with it. Must warn parents though they do have some small parts, like the balls are quite small so watch out for little children incase they put them in their mouth. other from that I bought this in the sale its brilliant value in comparison to other brands of it elsewhere!

Bought as a birthday pressie for my son from his Nana. Was a bit concerned it might be a bit on the young side for him but he loves it. (Age6) Instructions are easy enough to follow even though it took them a while to assemble they enjoyed the construction side .. & destruction!!All in all my boys have enjoyed finding new ways to assemble the marble run.Pros Easy to assembleLoads of piecesLots of marblesGreat colours (for the younger child)ConsNone - fun for all

I got this marble run for my four year old daughter for her birthday and she loves it. There are tons of pieces, lots of fun variations and she loves watching the marbles go racing down. She also enjoys building it, but judging by how it takes three adults to 'help' her each time, the grown ups enjoy the building of it even more. The only drawback is that instead of proper marbles there are little plastic balls, which are somehow less satisfying, but still this is fantastic value.

This is a fun game to build. There are many small building 'blocks' but there could really be some more. The quality is good, there is loads of colours and the connecting parts are really well made and designed. The small marbles zoom through the various maze and towers and so is actually really fun to build and watch. But the marble/balls do look a lot like little sweets so must watch any very little children around this.

Our 2 and 5 year old love this marble run. Lots of fun connector pieces and it is great that the tubes are see through so you can follow the marbles all the way through their journey. With young kids, the adults have to put it together as it requires a bit of problem solving and it can be easily knocked over - but I imagine that is probably the case with most marble runs. A great purchase.

Bought this for my 5 year old nephew and he loves it (and so do we!) I remember having this toy as a child and it is much the same although now it uses balls rather than marbles. My nephew throughly enjoys building it up, working out how best to put it together. Keeps him occupied for ages and always a thrill to take turns putting the ball in top. Good quality and excellent value for money.

I think the product and quantity is good for the money. There is limited instruction so building it was difficult with autistic children who follow the rules. On the positive side of things it got their cogs going as every piece connected required thought. As to where the marble would go.if built to high it topples. Too low the marbles go slow. Good for problem solving and team work.

I bought this as a birthday present for my two year old nephew. He loves it as do his four year old brother and seven year old sister. I'll admit I enjoy building it and playing with it too! Probably needs some adult help for assembly, at least first time out. It comes apart if it is knocked over so you just need to be careful or be prepared to have to reassemble!

Takes a bit of setting up and best done alone with no children around who are just eager to drop marbles down it or put pieces anywhere. Can be a bit wobbly and may get knocked over to be rebuilt from excitable kids. The marbles supplied are smaller than normal and so other marbles may not fit it and be too big and get stuck. For the price a great buy.

Bought this as a gift for my little girl, as she’d asked for it. Quite frankly, I was over joyed to go & buy it for her as this was a favourite toy of mine when younger. It was like reliving my childhood. Balls aren’t marbles, but do the same job. I was a little disappointed with the quality for the price. But still does the job, it says on the box.

I bought this marble track for my cousin’s 3 year old daughter. And she loves it! The pieces are simple to put together, with a good range of basic track and more fun twirly pieces. There is a lot of kit here, making for a range of possibilites. The only problem we had was getting my cousin’s husband to let his daughter have a go!

Great present for a child although Parents were looking forward to playing with this one too! Very good value and great service from Argos. However I assume all the parts are predominantly plastic and therefore I wasn’t completely happy about purchasing this. Perhaps Chad Valley could look at producing a more sustainable version?
