We already have a 102 piece quercetti marble run and it has seen many hours of action, we purchased the super vortex to add on to the existing set. Firstly we were pleasantly surprised that the newer 224 piece migoga maxi set was supplied, not much different just a few more bits. Over the last few years friends have had various marble runs which invariably are too limiting or over complicated.Quercetti have designed a simple system that easily locks together and can safely be built as high as the imagination. Children learn about the basics of balance, design and engineering principles with out ever knowing about it. Every time a structure is built it is different,

This marble run was for my nephew for Christmas. He loved it straightaway although he was too young (3 1/2 years old) to build it himself. The box does mention 8+ years but if you're happy to help with the building, your little one will then be able to play on their own. It's a fun game and quite easy to assemble. We copied the models from the box and they work fine. I would definitely recommend this game.Positive point : great fun for children and adults!Negative point : Only comes with 24 marbles, would recommend an extra pack.

Bought as a gift for my 6 year old daughter. Thought initially it might be too complex, but actually has proved ideal. Lots of runs, tubes, Helter shelter type sections. She started off making quite simple constructions, but became more elaborate - which was fascinating to watch - to see how she understood the impact of different structures on where the marble would go and how fast. A great present.

Bought for my two children (aged 6 and 8) and they enjoy playing with it, but actually I think I enjoy it more! Good to try to build a complex marble run as a family. 6 year old sometimes loses interest while we build it, but enjoys using it once built. If to be built on their own, probably for 8+.

This was a present for my 7yr old grandson and once it was assembled he loved it, and so did I!. It would have been better if there had been written instructions rather than trying to follow the pictures on the box but we got there in the end. Lots of fun.

I would highly recommend this game for both boys and girls. My 8 year old twins love it. Whenever they have friends over, everybody wants to have a go. My son can be quite impatient however with this game he keeps trying without losing his temper.

This is fantastic fun if you are prepared to help your child initially. My 7 year old daughter enjoys doing it and is beginning to see how you need to match up heights and distances and gets a kicknehen we get it working, would recommend.

Bought this for my 11 yr old son who has loved playing with it and will enjoy it for the next few years. .reasonably sturdy,but the circular runs could be more sturdy.good value for money,but it isnt cheap

I bought this for my youngest Grand Daughter who was absolutely delighted. In fact I spent several hours with her on boxing Day aiding her to make various and more complicated "runs" for the Marbles.

Kids seem to still be playing with it well after I bought it so it seems like a hit. It's currently being played with by a 5 and a 2 year old as we speak.

Not the sturdiest of marble runs but lots of pieces to create different tracks and quite enjoyable to play with for toddlers and adults too!

Top banana love it ordered one off Argos 24:99 but this is top of the quercetti range brilliant

Needs adult assistance to build it, but they have great fun too. Very well made.
