I've become hooked on these Hanayama cast metal puzzles ! Like many before me I've loved the tactile feel of these sleek & smoothly manufactured metal puzzles. Had to sneak a look at the online Youtube video solutions, following hours of frustration trying to solve these intriguing puzzles. I still get stuck as they are foxy, but beautiful to handle (very nice weight).This Coaster puzzle is a special favourite of mine, along with the Love heart, and Harmony, and Ring and..... !!! (now up to almost ten) When you achieve the correct configuration they simple slide into place, no force required.

Rated at 4 out of 6 in difficulty level.This is the very first puzzle I bought from this collection.It consists of 3 pieces which slot together to form the picture shown.This puzzle is rather easier than I expected.I'd have given it a difficulty rating of 3.Having said that, it's still a tricky puzzle which has a satisfying finish when all the pieces slot elegantly together.As I'd expect from this company, it's a nicely crafted puzzle with a high-quality finish.

Purchased for our boxing day lucky dip and was an instant hit.... after hours of fun and entertainment our grown up son announce that this would 'never resemble a coaster again' . Still keeping the family entertained mid Jan and still not reassembled. Im sure there must be a knack to it yet tone discovered.... great gift.

Bought for my brother, who usually polishes off this type of puzzle in minutes. It lasted nearly an hour.Unlike other gifts which lie around after you have done them, this is a good looking useful item as well.

Bought as a Christmas present for a friend who loves puzzles. He was really pleased with it and despite trying for about an hour left it until later:) So a good sign as he is very adept at puzzles:)

Bought it as as secret Santa gift and surprisingly nobody was able to solve it until the end of the party. I was assuming that it will be too easy for the tech guys but it wasn't. GOOD PRESENT!

The puzzle is hard enough to offer a good challenge, but not so difficult as to be totally frustrating. Well made and robust.I cannot see it having any educational value, but a fun diversion.

I got this present for my brother for xmas. It was slightly smaller than I expected, but still it looks well made and is a unusual stocking filler. A cool puzzle as well as being a coaster.

It looks just as it does on the packet. It isn't trivial but can be solved using a bit of logic, and fits together neatly.There is no solution included, so no temptation to cheat.

A fascinating and conceptually interesting puzzle. Being cast and accurately made gives an air of quality. It is best to not try to remember the assembly order for repeatability.

Got this for my dad for Christmas, he had to take a photo of it before he took it apart, as he didn't want to spend the $1 on the solution if he couldn't get it back together!

Very easy to take apart, but a lot harder to assabble. I almost gave it five stars, which it might be woth as a "puzzle", tough not compared to other Hanayama puzzles.

This one is very easy to take it apart, it takes a second and without much effort. Assemble it back though needs focus and patience. I liked it and it also looks nice.
