This was a really successful birthday present for my 9 year old who was able to build these different and detailed models independently. The cat is great as all his body parts move and are poseable; she had great fun using him to make some Lego animation. The mouse too makes great use of bricks to make a really different kind of model - in the whole set there are no silly overlarge pieces and it's an interesting build. I'd say it took her under and hour to make and she has also made the bunny and pup.Lovely set that has universal appeal I think and which is Lego at its best.

We bought this at Legoland on Thursday and it is simply brilliant - We have lots and lots of lego but this is a little different - it is a really innovative use of traditional pieces and the build is sturdy enough to withstand lots of play. Very impressed - it's how I remember lego from the 1979/1981 period - Our 5 year old and his 9 year old sister love it.

This was a great lego set for my girls. Reminds me how great Lego is for everyone!. bought 3, for 7yr old and two 9yr old girls. so managed to have very cute cat dog and rabbit by the end with the 3 boxes.. Good age range challenging for my 7 yr old but encourages family fun working together. Good size too

Bought this for my niece for her birthday because she's going through a Lego phase. I didn't see her play with it but I've been told it was one of her favourite gifts. Ideal for an 8 year old going through a Lego phase!

Lego is always clever and inventive. Lego cheese - so obvious and so good! I liked the blocks in this set as they are quite ordinary, and I think it shows that you can be creative even without specialised pieces.

Bought for 7 year old girl, easy enough to make with plenty of moving parts, plus being able to change from a rabbit to a cat, she was so happy!!!

The service was excellent and the product is exactly as seen in the picture and the only thing I can fault it on was I expected it to be bigger.

Bought this for a girls 7th birthday - as a big lego lover and of all animals cute and furry this gift would tick all the boxes :0)

I think this was the most enjoyed Christmas present this year. Lots of time spent creating and recreating. It's amazing.
