To be honest, I wasn't expecting too much from this set: I picked it up for my birthday and assembled the B and C models (1 per night) over the past week.When I assembled the A model, though, I was blown away by a few things:1. I was planning to redesign/rebuild the main robot build to be a mech driven by a classic LEGO space guy. Little did I know that the set was designed to remove the eye and just place a guy inside: perfect!2. I tried the LEGO Life app version of the build instructions. These are awesome, and I'm going to look for these on all future LEGO sets I build. Way easier to follow than the paper instructions (and I've been building LEGO for 30+ years) -- just being able to pan and zoom,

Provides similar challenge to other 3 in 1 lego sets - eg time and complexity. I made this with my 7yr old nephew who enjoyed it more than most - I think because its a robot, and the semi spherical piece is unique to this kit. The main item and the 2nd of 3 items went down well in terms of making and then playing with the lego. The 3rd of 3 items you can make feels a bit weak and we didn't have the excitement needed to break up the pieces and build this.All in all, one of the best lego kits I've bought as a present. Recommended for all young boys.

This set by itself is a fantastic piece for display and play, but the fact that it works with the Creator 3-in-1 Deep Sea Creatures set opens the options up so many more possibilities. I feel like they complete each other. The two sets use a lot of the same theming in the environmental elements, and the tiny stingray depicted in the main robot build also fits very well in with the pieces of Deep Sea Creatures. I would highly recommend purchasing them together for a fantastic underwater robot vs. giant shark LEGO scene!

Tested by an 8 year old boy as well as a 9 year old boy. Both found it hard to put together and felt they needed adult help. Instructions were hard for both of the boys to follow. Adult was able to follow the instructions, but stated he felt the pieces needed to go into smaller bags, as there were lots of pieces in the first bag, which could easily confuse. In summary, quite good overall, but perhaps more suitable for kids older than 8-9...maybe 11 to 12 year olds' would fare better with this.

This is a great set, you can make a choice of three models, my 7yr old actually managed to do this all by himeself with no help and was so pleased with himself, it can be added to some of his other sets Too, we like the idea of having a choice to make make different models with the same set because it makes it more exciting, the bricks are good quality as usual, easy for children to put together and take apart, nice and colourful, I will definitely be purchasing other sets in this series.

What a great idea three in one lego is. My son absolutely loves the robot and it features highly in all of his games at the moment. He and his Dad worked together to make the robot and found it easy to do. My seven year old does not have the patience to put together lego on his own so its a great way to get in some quality time. The only bit that worried them was dropping bits and not being able to find them again but that is the same for all lego models.

I love this Robot when i was done building it ,I didn’t dare take him apart so I went out and purchased 2 more sets.i built the submarine next,I just loved the little plastic bubble cover the manta is cool also as reviewer #1 stated you can man both with mini figures this set is Awesome. I gave the 3rd set to my co workers 16 yr old son I hope he enjoys it as much as I do and that means I have to go buy a 4th set LOL .

The underwater lego set is great. My son had his eye on it for ages and saved up his pocket money. He says it was worth it. The 3in1 sets have three (or 4) sets of instructions and 1 set of lego. This was a slight disappointment to a 5 year old to start as he wanted to make all of the pieces at the same time but works better for me as if he didn't have to take them apart to make something else he just wouldn't.

The Lego Creator Underwater Robot is a fabulous addition to our lego collection. The ability to make 3 different creations (aswell as your own designs) from one set makes it great value for money. The instructions with pictures were clear and made it relatively easy for my son (aged 6) to put this together himself without getting frustrated. I would definitely recommend this product.

see the images for spare that comes with this product, you can make one of three item. Each one is supported with very detailed instructions and pictures making is easy (or moderate) for kids to find, assemble and enjoy the final version. Many more items are possible with imagination.will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Nephew loved this for his birthday. Easy to build, lego instructions were clearly written. He's only 5 and managed to build it mostly himself with a bit of direction. He loves robots and is a huge lego fan, especially loves the creater 3in1 sets that transform into new builds, so a transforming 3in1 lego robot ticked all the boxes!

My 5 year old son has a few of the lego 3 in 1 creator sets & he loves them. They come with 3 sets of instructions included but you can go online & download other instructions to build other models. My son spends many hours taking them apart & building a different model again & again & he never seems to get bored with it.

Another brilliant Lego set of the same high quality I have come to expect from the brand. Gives a choice of three models to make with clear picture instructions that were easy to follow. My 7 year old enjoyed helping to find the pieces but left the building up to me! Easy to build and great fun for to play with once made.

From the outset, the look of this product gave me high hopes of a fun toy inside. I built this one with my 7 year old son and we found it fun and easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and precise making the whole experience enjoyable and the finished product was sturdy and great fun to play with. 5 stars from us

I have 2 boys age 7&4, my 7 year old found the instruction easy to follow and managed to build the whole robot himself. It’s very durable so my 4 year old was able to play with it too. Both have enjoyed playing with this and has brought the imagination to play. Would definitely recommend this.
