I purchased this for my son who has recently got into lego. My son is also a huge lover of trains, so I thought this would be ideal. It is a small set, but cheaper than you would find in tescos, toys r us etc. and for what it is its good value for money. Lego isn't cheap but I was happy to pay less than 5 quid for it! My son loved putting it together (but did need some help - he is 4). Only trouble is he wanted all three of the trains! Instructions are easy to follow and its good quality. I'd highly recommend. Great little set, the train (the one with the funnel on top - largest photo on the box) is a little bigger in length than a standard diecast car to give you an idea of size.

These lego sets are really good value. They don't take too long to create, and once played with, they can easily be taken apart, and changed into two other 'similar' designs easily.The parts are small, and can get lost, so a box that could be secured properly would be helpful. No one wants to keep feeding the dog or hoover!

Dont be conned , it is 3 in 1 as in you will need to dismantal and rebuilt into another form and not e set of lego in one. I knew it when I bought it but when my kid first picked it up it did a bit of disappointment. Lucky I bought 3 different sets of LEGO creator.

Good but you need to buy three! There are only enough pieces in the box to make one of the three models - I.e. you can't make an engine and tender at the same time which is what kids want.

At £4.99 this set is extremely good value for money. We bought three for one of my boys, and it has seen constant use since we purchased it. Cannot fault, as quality is also excellent.

Great for the price , 3 different parts of the train brilliant. 6yr old now desperate for another 2 of these packs so he can have them all .

its lego so its awesome. just a shame you cant have a set with the train and the trailer - we had to buy 2 of these sets to make them both.

Hard to find, this model, after our little grandson lost some bits off the previous one. So glad to have it, and so reasonably priced.
