We have had hours of fun with this lego! My 3 year old had been asking for lego like his friends had so I bought the smaller box to start with. He really enjoyed it, we then bought this one. Regret not buying this one to start with. He sits there for hours playing it and there's loads of pieces which allows him to build loads of different building without running out of lego. This box of lego is great as it's actually plastic unlike the smaller box which is cardboard with a plastic lid! ( didn't last two minutes with a teething 2 year old in the house)

My dad and I have been looking for something like this so I can just build freely without having to take apart my sets for parts. We will definitely be getting this when we can. It will also be helpful since I am working on a small portion of a city, so this will be helpful in making shops, buildings, etc. The only thing that I feel could have been added are about 10 minifigures; generic and special ones to add some population for cities.Thanks for reading, and GOD BLESS!!!~Ani

Our granddaughter wanted a variety of "normal Lego building bricks" and this Classic box has filled the gap to allow her to use her imagination and get creative.There is far to much emphasis on Lego kits which, once built, are then cast aside. In many ways Lego need to promote their "standard" basic building bricks so that children (and adults) can challenge themselves to create their own models.

Purchased for my grandson who is six years old, he has many lego theme models and sets. I wanted him to enjoy using his imagination in creating his own ideas and looked at the various options of classic bricks, i am very happy with this choice, great variety of colours and good assortment of bricks. there is also a idea booklet to help with building ideas. Recommended product to all lego builders

I have recently bought this for my granddaughter. She has grown out of duplo and is just starting to really want to build things with 'grown up lego' as she calls it. The bricks are brightly coloured and are of the usual high standard we have come to expect from any lego product. A variety of different size pieces. I know she will be thrilled with this at Christmas as its top of the list.

A really good starter pack using original bricks. The extras give plenty of scope for the imagination. Being able to add windows and doors adds a touch more realism that the child can make sense of. The large storage box is good and sturdy and a nice way to keep everything together to store away. All in all something to keep a child occupied for hours using their imagination to the full.

I always love the idea of having a set where you can just have pieces to build whatever you want with, so i would say that this is a great product. It's kind of like a pick a brick wall in a bucket except for that you don't get to choose what you want and don't want. but other that that I like this product and would definitely recommend it.

I have just started to use Lego again as an additional hobby. I got the Large Creative Box as a gift for Christmas. I think the box is a great starter box for young and old alike. It has a good diversity of bricks and components. I have started to build detailed buildings and have managed to use a substantial amount from the box.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she plays with it for hours at a time. Bearing in mind she is 12yrs old it certainly is keeping her very busy. Definitely a good buy. Only thing would say is would of been better not to put Lego in small plastic bags but other than that excellent and didn't take long to arrive either

Well for the value I cannot recommend this product enough. My son and I have been playing with the products all day and still haven't built everything. There is more than enough bricks to get a new builder started and plenty to top up an existing builders stock. All in all a great time to be had and plenty of pieces great buy

This had alot more Lego than I anticipated and the storage box is GREAT! i bought this for my 4 year old and my Lego fanatic son who is 13 was very jealous, but actually brought them together, they played for hours! Great even for older kids with lots of Lego sets as it goes with anything.

Had Lego as a boy and still build with my 5 year old daughter now. She's just really getting into building now. Lets kids' imagination run wild. Lego sets can be very expensive. This is a good kit for starting or just getting a load of extra bricks to add to other sets.

Bought as an Xmas gift, so hasn't been opened yet, although it's very tempting! Seems to have a decent variety of brick sizes/colours. There's also some ideas on the box of things to build, although I'm sure google/imagination will come in handy for loads more.

My son age 4 and daughter age 4 both have fun building whatever they imagine with this set. We have built a couple of Lego Star Wars ships, but the freedom they have with this is awesome. Great as a starter kit or addition to any collection.

Kids absolutely loved it. Lots of colours and assortments. Follow ideas on line and made so many creations from this pack. Also absolutely love the yellow box it comes with. Perfect for storing the Lego and also looks good in my sons bedroom
