I bought this for my 7 year old son and he absolutely loves it. He's been learning chess for around a year - and also loves Lego (who doesn't!) and combining them is just perfect.The pieces are beautifully created - as you would expect. It comes in a great carry case - the board is on one side and each of the chess pieces has their own individual place on the other side. They're securely held in place too. There is also a carry strap/handle and it is held together by 2 straps with strong poppers. Very well made and thought out. There would be nothing worse than it all falling apart when you carried it around.The pieces are not large - they're around 4cm with removable swords, shields etc. So,

Chess set is fun. It is a bit delicate but really cool looking. We had to make rule with our son to only use the pieces when playing the game so he does not loose game pieces

kids love legos and now i can get them interested in chess unfortunately my kids are now better than me
