my 7 year old son asked Father Christmas for this and the magical man left it for him under the tree Christmas morning! It wasnt too tricky to put together and its moving features are amazing. My little boy is very happy with it and it has so far provided hours of entertainment! I think its a great lego product. The only problem i found was trying to get the sharks teeth into the lego bricks it takes some effort but it can be done!

As always with lego I had hours of peace while my 9 yr old son pieced together the portal.. It's fantastic well worth the money especially as we bought it whilst amazon was offering 20% off!! Great colours, great lego people/ sea monsters and there is even a twisting part which opens and closes the eye of the portal. Also very good to play with after completed as it kind of works as a small lego dolls house!

I bought this for my son for Christmas, as he loves making Lego models. It arrived in a huge box, and although it kept my son happy for a while, I was a little disappointed that the model was not more complex to put together, and it was not as large as expected. However, my son has happily added it to the other Atlantis models he has made.

Bought for my 11 year old son's birthday in May. He absolutely loves it. He really enjoyed building it by himself which took several hours over 2/3 days. Quite a challenging build but thats good. And he hasn't wanted to dismantle it yet! - which is what he normally does with lego and rebuild into something else. Its taken pride of place.

a complicated set- bits move! kept my 8 year old occupied for several days constructing all the parts. A good challenge in understanding instructions and spatial concepts - i even got to help! A super product and has provided a good amount of play already...the sharks are especially good

Lego is always great fun for us, but this set is especially so. It is also a great bonding opportunity as family members turn up to help. Lots of fun, it really pushes up creativity as it works as a catapult for so many different stores. Cannot recommend it more.

This toy was brilliant for me seeming i'm 10.This is the biggest peace of Atlantis lego so far!It is quite hard to build (lots of fiddily bits).My dad and Imade this and it took about two days to make.Overall I think most boys will love it:).

My son struggled a bit, he's 8, especially with the small bits, but evenyually made it!, a good learning curve, which was enjoyed.

You should definetely get this one if it will be discounted again. Lots of fun and a lot of useful bricks.

Clear instructions - took 3 days to put this together - easy to do just lots of pieces. My son loves it.
