I bought this tool around four years ago and have since used at home and work it to fix, fettle and fiddle with countless things. It's taken a complete battering and is still solid with barely a mark on it. I also know that if I do ever write it off, I'll get another one for free because of the lifetime warranty. The locking/folding mechanism is very clever and useful for more things than you would think, especially as a 'third hand' for holding things in place. They grip as well as conventional mole grips. However, as with mole grips, they're not very easy to use as conventional pliers so most people might prefer the more traditional Leathermans.I own two multi tools - this and a little Swiss army I use for fishing.I don't think I'll ever need anything more.If you want the Silverline imitation then by all means get it, maybe it works ok if you've got another 50(!?) Leathermans to fall back on. Cheap tools are a mug's game.As another reviewer said - read the instructions to make sure you're familiar with all the functions.

Got mine today. I already have a leatherman wave which I use every day. I was attracted to this by the grips . But to be honest that's about the only good part of the tool. It feels a bit flimsy compared with the wave and to be honest , to me seems like it should be a sub £50 tool . The knife is tiny and you have to open the tool to access it. Unless you are going to use the grips all day long and leave them open (as it's fiddly to open up) I would buy a wave or if your budget can stretch, a charge tti. We are all different though. What suits me may not suit you.

Very nice sheath which fits the Rebar! After receiving my Black Oxide Rebar - I like the BO tools as they're less likely to rust - I was dismayed at the Nylon Molle sheath it came with, it is too big, too brash, and who uses Molle webbing anyway outside of the military? This sheath is just so much nicer. It is discrete and classy and no where near as bulky as the nasty nylon sheaths either the Rebar Wave or Skeletool come with. The only downside I can see is the rivets do protrude into the sheath and will scratch tools in it, I put a cut to size piece of

Due to hasty purchasing in time for a birthday present, I was worried I had probably bought the wrong replacement pouch for a Leatherman Wave. However it fits like a dream, and looks smart - if not a little *too* smart combined with my husband's work clothes! Unbelievably good value, feels like good quality, thick leather, and I hope it'll wear-in nicely over time and last as well as the pouch originally supplied with the Wave.

I bought the crunch and the wave back when the crunch was £34 and the wave was £87.... must be close to 30 years now... still working well, a bit battered but amazingly still smooth - crunch still locks well if a bit loose when it's folded... but 30 years and well used you don't expect it to still be tight...

Excellent purchase to keep my Swiss wingman tool perfectly safe and secure! It's made from real leather with a sturdy pop button. I would recommend the product if you own a swiss leather man wingman tool and you would like a decent size case for safe keeping.

Bought this as a replacement for the naff and too bulky nylon pouch that came with my leatherman charge ti. This one is much nicer as it is real leather and much classier looking. I only wish they made one in brown leather, too.

Perfect if not a little too large fro Wingman tool. All round a good tool holder with sturdy belt strap. Bit hard at first getting the belt thought but after time this becomes easier.

Great tool. Lives with my emergency tool kit. High quality and does exactly what it says. The gripping pliers are strong, easy to use and the reason you buy this multi tool.

Blast multi tool does fit. Initially it seemed it wouldn't fit but with some gentle manipulation the tool fitted. It is a tight fit but should become looser through usage.

Press stud is a bit stiff at the moment, only had it a few weeks but as you would expect from Leatherman this is a good product which will last a long time....

Bought to replace the rather chunky standard pouch, This is a much more wearable solution, looks smarter too. Well made as you'd expect from Leatherman.

This is the second one purchased, my partner would not have any other, wears everyday, had last one at least over 4 years, he is very happy.
