We have a large wooden table that gets covered with toast crumbs every day, which find their way onto the floor all too often. This item seems to pick up most 'average' toast mess. We have found that for best results you have to experiment with how you use the item. For us, slowish linear sweeps are best, tight 'arcs' are not good as the wheels have a fixed axle. Empty it as often as you remember as the trays are shallowish. Its is very good quality item compared to others we have seen.Our table is 'lime washed' Oak, and does not show sratches say like a french polished mahogany table - I would be less inclined to use any crumb sweeper on a polished table anyhow.

There may be others at cheaper price but this unit has x3 brushes tightly meshed together for maximum effectiveness at crumb removal and a smart stainless steel top case. Picks up crumbs , work filings and even dust - exceptionally well .Very well made - additionally has rubber wheels rather than plastic ones or cogs that makes the whole process easy. I think there is another more expensive identical looking model, simply re-badged for an extra £4-£5.00.Highly recommended this one - quickly dispatched from Amazon.

I was sceptical at first, but surprisingly, this device actually does the job! Basically, it is a miniature carpet sweeper without the handle. It picks up the crumbs and bits quite happily both off the table cloth and off the bare wood. To empty, simply lift off the metal lid and tip out the debris then push the lid back on and away you go. Like the carpet sweeper, it should regularly be emptied - if it gets over full it would start throwing the sweepings back out. A good, robust product.

This contraption doesn't need batteries, is easy to clean and is perfect for picking up crumbs and bits of tiny food from the table or table cloth after meals. Just slide it along the counter top and it does the job. I would recommend one for every household. You don't have to dust your table cloth or even take it off the table if you have one of these, unless of course if you made a complete mess with gravy or liquids! Great buy.

The Lacor crumbs cleaner performs as good as it looks, in term of design, robustness and performance. It came as described, very neatly packaged and surprisingly over-sized than expected! As to effectiveness, it surely clears all debris, crumbs, fluff in ONE SWEEP! I am sure this is due to the well thought design of the closely meshed rollers, with the added advantage of rubber wheels. A very useful household gadget.

There's only so enthusiastic one can be about a table crumb cleaner (hence the 4stars) but this is a very nice little device and does it's job admirably. Not quite as efficient as a vacumn type cleaner but the point is to be able to clean the table during a meal especially with guests without having to haul out the heavy machinery. Robustly built and reasonably elegant I'm a happy owner of this little beauty.

This clears crumbs very well from our kitchen work surfaces. Much quicker than getting out a larger cleaner; being small you can keep it to hand in a kitchen cupboard. This is also very easy to empty. When using the cleaner, avoid sweeping towards the edge of the worktop, as a few crumbs may go onto the floor.

This is exactly the product I was looking for! It is sturdy and easy to use and the price was quite reasonable. It is much, much more efficient than the plastic models with only one brush that are also shown here. I would highly recommend it.

Sort of thing that is used in French restaurants all the time. Extremely effective at picking up crumbs, really good quality piece of kit. And fun and very quick to use so the kids will even volunteer to clean the table for you!

Crumb Cleaner is amazing for the price, really good quality. This is something i had years ago and thought id check Amazon and once more it never fails to come up with a quality and price range that suites any purse. ThankYou

I bought this for cleaning my crumbs from table & worktop as my electric one had died and I wanted something quick and easy. This works for most things and is always to hand. Easy to empty each time too.

Much better than the cheaper ones, this does not move over the table cloth as smooth as my old one but is very efficient all the same. I am glad I paid a bit more to find a product tat works.

This is so handy, I've had it several years now and it's coming to the end of it's days but I'm going to replace it, great for the odd spill of crumbs etc. I would definitely recommend.

The product looks good and is actuslly very good at doing its function of collecting crumbs off dining table etc. Better than I expected. Recommended and reasonably priced.

This Lacor crumb sweeper did everything that the Leifheit did not - which I had to return; for me the Lacor works perfectly on counter top, table top and tablecloth;
