This was the first toy that I gave to my new Labrador puppy when she was just 8 weeks old. She absolutely loved it and for the first few weeks this was her favourite toy.The fabric is extremely durable and even though she is six months old it is still in perfect condition. The different fabric strands kept her entertained for ages, she would chew one then go to the next. When she was done with that she would chew the rubber ball part. It is good to have a toy that she hasn't been able to pull the stuffing out of or destroy in any other way.It is a perfect size for a puppy or small dog and not too heavy, she could easily carry it round with her wherever she went. She has now progressed to the larger Kong toys but still comes back to this one every now and again.I would definitely recommend this if you are getting a new puppy.

My 1 yr old Jack Russell sees this and other toys of it's ilk as challenge to see how quickly it can be destroyed. To the Kong Wubba's credit, it's one of the contenders. Poppy manages to chew the tail sections of the toy off within the first day. The last one we had survived the de-tailing and went on to a long life of being a squeaky fetch-toy.Once the denim-ish covering had been removed, these toys have a hard-wearing plasticy monkey-nut shaped ball in them that's a decent toy in its own right. It took Poppy a couple of months to kill this off. Mercifully, the squeaker might fall out sooner rather than later.Considering that your dog will destroy most £5 toys within a week, the Kong Wubba (small)is really good value for money.

I have a chocolate lab and had bought him 3 of the kong treat toys 4 months ago. So when I was at the pet shop the other day and noticed these thought i would give it a go as he chews every other dog toy to bits within 1 minute of getting them!! Well have to say its going really well with this one. He does not get to play with it on his own only when im about to keep an eye on him. However after 3 weeks hes still has not managed to tear the material which is great news!!Also easy to wash and dry if gets mucky out on the field. Give it a try well worth the money!! Would let it be a toy for the front room though as it has a squeaky toy in it and it drives me mad!!

this was bought for my 10 week old but dont think she has had much oppertunity to play with it due to my 18 month old enjoying it ! Both are Jack russells and very obsessive dogs by nature and im delighted to say its withstood at least 2 weeks of battering from my oldest , its a bit frayed now and the squeak has gone but its still in one piece , which is a miracle , just shows how sturdy they are ! The young one ( when she had it ) loved this toy too , especially been able to grab it by the strips of material and fling it around , also the small ball is the right size for tiny mouths to get a grip and run around .

I bought this for my puppy Betty and she loves it. I will definately be moving on to the larger version when she is older! I put her treats inside it when I am going out, sometimes just her food, a special treat or other thigngs like yogurt and banana- frozen. She isn't so fond of it when it is empty however before I started stuffing it with food she had a brilliant time chasing it around. I just think she is a little disappointed when she sees it empty now! It is useful to smear a little peanut butter inside as a short term distraction/lure too- when I want her to get into her bed or if we have guests!

Our little dog usually destroys dog toys within minutes. It doesn't matter what they are made from, she shakes them to death, and removes their innards. However, her Kong Wubba has lasted for a year so far. It has started to look ragged around the edges, but it is still going strong. The squeaker is still working, which is remarkable given that our dog usually destroys a squeaker in minutes, 12 months on it's still squeaking with a vengeance. Our dog loves this toy. She chews it, shakes it, tries to squash it, and still it keeps on going strong. This toy is highly recommended. :)

Almost indestructible but not for wee little Jack Russell's, they managed to tear the end of the tail within fifteen minutes. Saying that, they have very sharp teeth and are known for their grip. They did, are still are, enjoying the squeeky ball part and get a lot of fun playing together with it, pulling etc, because the toy is just the right size for them. For a dog without such sharp teeth I'd say buy it, it's a lovely toy especially for the smaller dog. I've not taken any stars off because its a perfectly strong toy for a different dog and we are still getting use from it.

My collie cross springer puppy loves this toy as did my thirteen year old terrier. the squeaker lasted two months before my older dog squeaked it to death but the toy is still going strong as they tug it. It's been used everyday and my older dog especially loved the texture and enjoyed playing with it. My terrier even sneaked it into his bed a few (dozen) times and put it to the test for durability but it came out alive and still together. Very happy with this toy and i'm definitely going to get them a larger adult one soon. Recommend this product to any puppy owner.

My dog really likes this toy, like many other toys in the kong range it's fairly durable. She will normally get through some of the "stronger/durable" toys in less than a day, this has lasted, albeit it's on it's last legs and we take it off her when the squeek gets annoying(!) over 6 months. It's handy to be able to grip at different angles to keep fingers away from accidental bites too. Only downside really is that the squeek is quite loud and my dog likes to find the squeeker and sit biting it over and over, but she's happy with it and it has lasted well!

My puppy loves this toy. She is a field spaniel and was 9 weeks when she first got it. She didn't tend to play with it too much and her jaws weren't strong enough to make it squeak, but now at 12 weeks she loves it. It's great for playing fetch and tug with and she loves running around the garden with it in her mouth. It is very durable and survived the washing machine with the squeak in tact etc. So it is a great item and I do love the Kongs. Just think at £8.59 for a little puppy toy is taking the mick a little bit, so 4 stars rather than 5.

I got the pink colour... I wasn't sure what colour would come as there was no option to pick. My dog is female so it was fine! The dog was instinctively drawn to this toy, it is a bit frayed but she has been chewing away at it and of course the label was first to go. It has been out in the rain, accidentally thrown in the fountain in my garden and squeaks away no problem ...not to be left with a dog unsupervised as she could tear it up as she gets older. Top product overall, will get another when this one is worn out, kong wubba is Top Dog.

Hours of fun playing with this although the puppy isn't yet big enough to make it squeak. He carries it around the house and plays with it on his own - sometimes chewing it and sometimes shaking it - but it's also great as a throw and retrieve (indoors) toy. I wouldn't use it outside because it would get dirty. Excellent. My only caveat is that you don't get a choice of colour and I wouldn't have bought pink in a shop. Also it's no cheaper on Amazon than it is in pet shops but it's very convenient with a new puppy to have things delivered!

I have purchased a few of these Kong Puppy Wubbas over the past 2 years. My 2 year old Bichon Frise loves them. We throw them for her to chase and she plays with it on her own, sometimes throwing it up in the air herself and catching it. It is a great weight and size for a small dog or puppy. My dog loves to chew and it takes her a few months to destroy this toy due to its tough fabric and tight stitching. The squeek inside helps keep the toy interesting. Really good value for money dog toy.

My Cairn puppy can rip absolutely anything to pieces - even the most durable toys are quickly dispensed with if he's left with them for too long. This toy has been OK - it is still in one piece and he has not been able to puncture/kill the squeek yet. However, we don't leave him with it and it is given for short periods so that he doesn't lose interest. The seams are frayed with chewing and it's a shame we didn't have a choice of colour - would have preferred a blue one.

This has already stood the test of time. Three months and counting! Admittedly it's looking slightly grubby and a bit frayed at the edges, however it has withstood almost constant abuse. Not only is it the favourite toy of our new puppy but it genuinely is made very well. Dog people will know that many 'purpose-made' toys such as this all to often fall by the wayside. Many other toys regularly don't even last a day! I highly recommend this item.
