I have a five year old Lab who's favorite thing in the entire world is to swim for her Wubba! We go through about 20 of them each year and I happily pay the money as I have never found a toy that she enjoys more. She swims in the pool and the lake. In fact I always have to take two Wubba's with me in case another dog shows up as they always go after the wubba. My lab prefers the large size but she has a petite face. Also sometimes I throw multiple wubbas in the water at once so she has to think of a way to get them both back to me. Yes the material tears and eventually the balls come out...but that is also part of the fun!My dog has a soft jaw and I don't want her having to bite so hard to be able to hold the toy so the large works perfect and the soft neoprene is good in that regard too. So if you have a splash dog or a dock diver...order a few and your dog will thank you!

It's a great toy for the swimming dog. The "tails" make it easy to throw and it floats high in the water, helping the pooch to spot it. It's also easy for a dog to carry in its mouth. However, it won't stand up very long to tug-of-war games (as I discovered with the last one), and it's not as indestructible as (eg) a Chuckit ball (which also floats, but isn't as easy for the dog to spot in the water). That said, it's a lot more durable that stuffed animal floating dog toys. But I do wish there was a choice of colour - mine arrived in green, which is not so easy to find if the dog drops it in long grass. So, if you want a toy for your dog to retrieve from water and isn't going to be used for tug-of-war games with another dog,I'd recommend this highly.

My dog absolutely loves this dog toy. But he did destroy it the same day. I made the mistake of buying the Wet Wubba instead of the regular one but it still made my dog just as happy. The only real difference is the fabric and the fact that it doesn't squeak. The fabric on the wet one is made for the water and quick drying. The other one is more of a canvas fabric and more durable in my opinion and it squeaks which makes my dog very happy.

Because of all its tails this toy has drag in the water so isn't carried away too fast in a stream. Also my spaniel can grab it by a tail in a small bite, rather than having to open her mouth wide, take in lots of water (and choke) As she would have to with a bigger ball. All of this is building her confidence with swimming and water retrieval. The tails also make it very easy to throw. It dries quickly. Top marks.

I bought this to replace a similar toy that I lost a few years back. I have not had a chance to test this toy out (as it is ideal for water and here in the midwest all the bodies of water are frozen over) but assuming it functions like the last one I had it floats in the water until it is retrieved and is durable like most other Kong Wubba toys. I don't know why they stopped selling these in the stores?

Our dog absolutely loves this wet wubba. It was the best toy we had to make her go swimming! This toy is made of a large and small ball that are wrapped in neoprene. It floats well and is easy to spot in the water. The only negative is that our pup was able to deflate the large ball. She still LOVES the toy and it still floats fine on water but the fatter diameter ball always appears appears squished.

I love kongs in general, but these wet wubbas are great water toys! My dogs love them. They are easy for me to fling far into the water and they float well and are very visible to the dogs. These are NOT toys to love with your dogs or to let them chew or play tug with, unless you don't care if they last long. I bought my first wet wubbas years ago and they are still in pretty good shape!

In store, this item costs about $16, but is available here on amazon for under $8. It is the real Kong Wubba brand. Our dogs LOVE chasing and retrieving it from the water. Pretty durable (just don't leave them anytime to chew it, otherwise it will tear pretty fast). We will definitely buy these from Amazon from now on. I don't believe you get to chose the color, but ours came in green.

Be aware that you will not get the color advertised- I got green, which isn't ideal for water retrieving purposes. However, it seems durable, stays afloat, and has many places for my pup to easily grab while playing water fetch. The tennis balls and sticks didn't float as high on the water and she was less likely to get water in her ears as easily when we were using this.

This is a great water toy. No more buying tennis balls that get split and then useless for water. The tails make it easy to throw too. My dog loves it. I’ve not allowed him to use as a chewing toy as the fabric covering the balls is not as sturdy as the usual Wubbas but it’s perfect for water. Very pleased with the purchase. Will last a long time if used appropriately

My dog absolutely loves this toy. The only problem is he tore off two tentacles within the first ten minutes of having it. I had to take it away from him. Not a toy which I would leave him with unsupervised. But he does enjoy running back and forth shaking the toy around throwing it up in the air and playing fetch with himself.

We board dogs, and this is, by far, the most popular toy. Dogs of all sizes enjoy playing with these, and our dogs (golden, lab/shepherd mix, gold/pyrenees mix puppy) especially love this toy! It's been able to withstand a lot of rough-housing; all three dogs grab a strand and pull, and so far, no strands have been ripped off.

Pros:Easy for our dog to see and chase in the waterThe straps our easy for our dog to hold onto while swimmingOur dog loves the toy. He starts whining as soon as we take it outCons:Takes several hours to dry out after useNot very durable - with a 65lbs dog, we go through a wubba about every 20 trips to the lake

Our young Aussie loves to play with this toy in her wading pool! She likes the strips at the bottom. It is quite sturdy and dries quickly. It can also be used in snow so if we get some this winter I will enjoy seeing her play with it in the snow. It is a cute design and one of the strips is marked WET which is funny.

Two playful Labradors loved it but one was a bit rougher than the other and the material sadly split leaving a small tennis ball visible so product could no longer be used. If these were made with rip-stop material they would be fantastic however, until then sadly an alternative is being sought.
