So Rosie (my dog) has been going though a phantom pregnancy, during this time, I gave her this toy and she loves it like one of her own. I feel its really helping her through this time as its keeping her productive, she now has a cub to look after, it gets washed thoroughly, before she goes on walks she will make sure its tucked up safe, and will return to it after her adventures. she also goes to sleep with it in the same room as her.So as a toy, I can't give a full review, but for the purpose it has been given its perfect. I have used KONG toys in the past and they are strong, this one has the same quality as the others I brought. (a wale and an original kong)the squeaker does not make the noise you would expect,

I have recently adopted a basset hound that adores soft toys but destroys them in seconds. He is especially addicted to the squeak-I am terrified he will swallow one and cost me hundreds of pounds at the vets!This is a very strong toy with a removable squeak-through a Velcro gap in its back. I beg you to remove the squeak as it is the perfect size for getting jammed in an intestine! the Velcro back shuts tightly again after this minor surgery. My dog so far has not managed to do any damage to the bear, or pull the stuffing out. I am amazed. it is not a particularily easy shape for a dog to hold-but I think he likes this-as he thinks it is a human toy he has managed to steal from someone-adding

My dog loves this bear! He likes to parade anything he can get hold of in the mornings, cushions, blankets, etc. So I bought this, took the squeaker out, and now he has a special little bear that I can give him in the mornings to wiggle and parade around with. Very cute watching a Rottie mix wiggling with a small bear. As I don't let him chew it I don't know what the durability is but it seems pretty sturdy. There is also a Velcro opening on it's back so you can either remove it like I have, or replace the squeaker if it dies.

As soon as I opened the box my 2 month Cocker Spaniel puppy grabbed the bear, and it has been his favourite toy ever since. He even knows the word ‘bear’ and will bring it on command! I didn’t write a review before as I wanted to see how long the toy lasted with a very rough, chewy puppy, but I can honestly report that 5 months later it is in excellent condition and is just as popular. (I took the squeaker out as I hate squeakers but this is simple to do as it’s fixed in with Velcro). I can definitely recommend this toy.

Our collie X puppy has had this Kong bear for 2 weeks and it is holding up very well. We specifically wanted a toy without a squeaker as a night time comfortable for him but he plays with it very often so we're even happier it's so quiet! He chews it a lot, nibbling at the velcro on the squeaker pouch and the ears but so far it still looks very well. He often falls asleep cuddling Teddy, which is adorable. I'd recommend anyone getting a new puppy to get on of these as a comforter and chew toy.

I buy them knowing they are going to die (I have a German Shepherd who loved pulling stuffed animals apart)It is a kong toy, so they are safe for the dog to play and destroy.It is very soft to the touch which I'm sure the dog doesn't really care about, but appreciated by me when I wake up with it on my face because it is play time.As with most of kong toys, it is strong and lats fairly long when playing tug-a-war, I still have legs and bodies lying around the house, so they do last.

Bought this thinking it might help make my new 8 week old rottie feel less lonely in our home the first few nights settling in. Well she didn't really have any issues with loneliness but does love this toy! and so far its holding together, i did think belonging to a rottie it might not last long but a month later and still going strong and gets a regular shaking, biting and throwing every day... 5 stars from me and 5 from my Rottie. Would recommend. Arrived promptly and well packaged

Great soft toy and my big dog loves it. Really well made and durable. So far the limbs are intact! The only downside is the velcro opening on its back under which the squeaker is ( in its own pouch making the stuffing another layer away from access). My dog soon learnt to chomp at this bit as it felt harder and subsequently got the squeaker out easily. I've removed it and sewn up the back and now his bear is just loved.

Our 10 week old puppy loves this toy. I was put off at first thinking it was only for a large dog but having read other reviews decided to give it a go and am pleased I did. Its a cuddly soft toy that can be thrown around. If left together for a long while I wonder whether she might eventually decimate it but currently, one week in, its still in one piece and has survived several good gnaws.

This is the second ‘beast’ Maggie is onto. The first is not a great photograph, but, suffice to say, she just loves it and it goes everywhere with her. The second is ‘beast’ is with my daughter’s teddy (which Maggie is not allowed) To be honest, the first one she had as a little puppy, and chewed it because she was was obviously teething then. I imagine that this one will stay the course!

One of them is fascinated by velcro and he has not even opened Bear Bear's back yet. My dogs don't really destroy their toys (because I don't let them). So I can't say anything about that. But the toy's sound is nice and not annoying and they like him. I thought he was a bit small, but the measurements were correct, so that was my mistake.

My bull lurcher demonstrated some carefully thought out attempts at destruction, found making a small hole in it's face a worthy challenge then was very satisfied throwing it about. He took the squeak out of the pocket, it's big enough to be another toy so he was very happy. That was a week ago, it is still going strong.

Our black lab loves this bear. This is the second one I have bought. The first one is still going strong after 18 months but he loves it so much that I bought another! He isn't a chewer so toys do tend to last but bear is great. The quack noise isn't at all annoying either (plus you can remove the squeaker if you like).

We have had more than 24 hrs and my ebt loves. She's not a chewer but loves to shake and run around with her toys. Was slightly concerned with the large plastic squeeker inside a velcro closure, but it's a good option to remove or replace if required. So far so good. Long may it continue.

My "large" dog sadly practically demolished this teddy within 10 mins. He does that though. In my experience no toy is "large dog" safe!I would buy again as my dog loves it!Rating durability as 3 only because the ad might make people think it's tougher than it is.
