Thanks to a review already on this product was finally able to get a cable that fit my htc hero, it has one slanted edge, the other products on amazon say it will fit htc hero but they send a mini usb that has two slanted edges and wont fit some htc phones, its looks exactly the same as the original. I had to buy a new one since the cables that come with the phones seem the break very easily and i know a lot of people who have had the same problem. Anyway good replacement and shipping was verrry fast!

This is a really painful cable. I had my HTC Hero for about 15 months now and had to buy 2 more cables for it because they keep breaking. I ended up taping up one of them that goes upto my bed (it's like a metre and a half tall) and then using another one for normal use.

After a long search finally found a proper Hero compatible cable. This is not a mini or micro USB, it is the odd shaped Hero specific connector. Looks as if its a proper HTC product as well, job done!!

This cable is nice and sturdy. It charged my HTC Touch HD very fast and efficiently. I connect this cable to any USB charger and it works.

Arrived quickly better than other cables I have purchased I would recommend this item good value for money
