I got the Google Max so that I can easily communicate with my partner who has Alzheimers. Easy to set up and easy operateion of the lights, heating, television, radio and voice / video calls with simple voice commands. This product meets all of my needs and helps me as a full time carer whilst I'm out working full time too. It is practical for my busy lifestyle. Music, television, planning trips, hospital reminders and much much more. Thank you Google for making things a little bit easier.

I love technology and bought this on the first day it released. However, this does have its problems...Google assistant is clearly still in its early stages as it regularly struggles to understand what I want or does something completely random e.g. it will play music on YouTube when I have set Spotify as my default player. That said, it does seem to be improving.The camera recognises me in about 1 second of me being in front of the device. The sound quality is also great.

Bought to compliment a number of other Google devices and to allow us to video call the family. Screen quality is excellent and sound is certainly an improvement over the smaller Home Hub, although nowhere near as good as the Max speakers (not surprising). Voice commands work as well as other devices and the gestures seem to work ok, although we haven't used them much. Video calls have been good, with excellent voice clarity. Overall worth the money, especially when on offer!

Amongst the many options, there are only really two choices on the market for these kinds of products, I went the Google route post their integration of the Nest system into their home automation suite. Both the smaller Hub and the Max work largely the same way, except that the Max has an integrated camera for video calling using Google Duo, the camera can also be used for home surveillance (extended with a subscription) and the screen is much larger. Perfect for the kitchen.

We have gone from Home Mini, to Hub to the Max now. This is a very worthwhile upgrade on the Google Home Hub which now looks small in comparison. The sound quality is also very rich and can easily fill a room with quality sound. An unexpected bonus of a months free trial of its built-in Nest Cam. Don't expect too much from the camera resolution though. Although in the specs it is double that of other Nest cams its not noticeably better there.

I bought this recently and we all love it. It was very easy to install and setup. A kid could do it, and mostly they did. We are continuously discovering what it's capabilities are, but the one we like the most is that since our son recently bought one, we can video call each other and see and speak to the grandchildren. It really came into its own on Christmas morning. Brilliant for weather or news updates, can't praise it enough.

Having had this for a month now, we love the simplicity of accessing our Spotify accounts, news and weather.It can clearly do alot more than we currently use it for. Some things are well advertised (music and smart home) and other not so (playing games).Would like it to be able to access Netflix while working in the kitchen, and maybe be a bit smarter when searching youtube videos. But other than that, a positive addition.

First download GOOGLE HOME APP from google playstore on your phone its easy to set up, perfect for the living room sound and screen quality is very good , i would recommend its ideal for some one living on their own to find information. You can also make phone and video calls on your GOOGLE NEST HUB when connected to GOOGLE DUO through your phone contacts easy to use.

I bought this model because my husband is hard of hearing and found our previous Google assistant a bit low! But the Google nest hub max has solved that and gives him a visual answer plus when it's not in use it is a clock and photo frame showing all our fav photos! Plus it will show us videos explaining what we need to "how to" would recommend to anyone

I bought this after having the smaller nest hub for a while and wanting to make more video calls during lockdown. Super easy to set up, connects to your google home app. The sound quality is great, very loud too!Theres a built in nest security cam with great soundand picture quality too. Overall it is a bit expensive but I think it's worth it :)

Great overall gadget!Great camera function which if using recipe videos don’t need to press to pause can raise hand.Great to chrome cast lots of video sites, keeps me company when in the kitchen.My only issue is that the duo video call doesn’t support multiple video calls unlike the app.Other than that it’s great!

It's a very good product it's easy to set up and camera what is the best for video calling and the sound is amazing it's better other Google home speakers for the sound it's worth buying it if you are on Android user and you can call anyone if they're good iPhone video call so get this product if I want to call someone abroad

Looks great sounds great, very usefull and really entertaining. My kids ask it questions all the time, its very educational for them and so simple to use, just talk to it. Mostly i use it to listen to music, it links nicely to the other smart products in my home and i couldnt be happier with it!!!"

Google home hub , great sound . Great picture quality . Can watch all 4 and now Disney plus whilst cooking . Google play movies to. I play Spotify through it and with the kitchen window open makes for great sound in the garden. Now to connect to Phillips hue lights for extra control.

I originally ordered the amazon echo show 5 which was very tinny, so I treated myself to this and I'm so glad I did. The sound quality is perfect, with great bar which you can adjust. The technology is by far the most advanced and syncs up to my smart home products. Well done Google!
