I have had ceiling fans before but they have proved to be a little noisy. However this fan is so quiet, good job as it is in a bedroom that in summer gets the sun all day. I have been using it every day since I installed it as it also has a winter setting on it, this allows the fan to work in a different way. As hot air rises to the ceiling it recirculates it back down again, thus helping to keep the place warm and save on energy. Brilliant!
