I don't normally review anything unless I'm impressed well this particular variant of Glen Moray, Port cask finished, was in my opinion an absolutely divine sipping liquor there was no initial burn in the mouth or throat on the way down all parts of the treatment through the whiskey's life contributed to its smoothness and the sweetness left behind on the palate. I do not consider myself to have a trained nose or palate but I do the best I can without the fancy words but with 40 yrs of drinking whiskey the last 30 of those I hope a little more intelligently William

For such a young whiskey this Port finish just like its Sherry finish edition, are surprisingly smooth and are more akin to a much older refined whiskey of a 15 year old.. and that's the honest truth..Excellent value for money for its low price range...I've had my fill of mostly Scotch and the odd Welsk (Welsh whisky being only Penderyn) done the rounds..and Its smoother than the standard 10 or 12 year Mac and that hint of Port finishes it off perfectly..
