This umbrella is very similar in construction to a M&S one which I bought over 20 years ago.It has a large canopy when opened and has 8 ribs and thus is a lot stronger than others with only 6..I have not used it yet in anger, but if it performs like my old one and I have no reason to doubt it will not, then I would recommend it.OK, its not that light at about 350 grams and not that compact at 25 cm long. but I want one that will last perhaps some 20 years. Ps I keep it in the car

Have 3 of these - had 1, loaned to girlfriend, she lost it, bought 2 more (1 for her 1 for me), then she found the original.Great, compact umbrella. Keeps you relatively dry (it's a small umbrella - but very portable), and is well-made. It's turned inside out from the wind and never broken a spoke in 3 years.I bought my first for $20CAD in Canada, and the other two on Amazon for a similar price.

very good brolly, easy to open and close. Has a big canopy to keep you dry. Folds up bigger than a mini brolly, but for that reason is a lot stronger and feels more secure in winds. Having the wooden handle means that it is suitable for a lady as well as a man. Umbrella arrived very quickly and was well packaged.

This umbrella was as desrribed and is good to keep in your bag for a sudden down pour, its small and compact and quite light, however it's not the most sturdey of umbrellas, and I'm not sure it'd stand up to wind more than a light gust. Good for occasional emergency use!

I bought this item as it was recomended for use in windy place.(I work on what used to be an airfield).I have used it a number of times and have been impressed so far. I used to buy cheap umbrellas and they all blew inside out and snapped after a few times out.

sturdy little fold away brolly with a good heavy wooden handle, OK its not the automatic i really wanted but for the price it has so far stood up the winter wind and rain, and it was less than 24 hours between ordering and delivery

Im so glad i got this beats my rubbish umbrella from boots which cost the same price!Very impressed with the product, its strong and holds itself in winds and strong rain!.worth the price and delivered on the time!!

I had a different make (good quality) but slightly larger with a curved handle. This made it slightly larger. This Fulton is small enough to carry in pocket (almost) and seems pretty good quality so far.

This is my third fulton umbrella. Had no problems with previous two, one is a golfing umbrella and my daughter kept using my one so this one is for her. Very durable umbrellas. Definitely worth getting.

I bought two of these umbrellas for Christmas presents. One for my sister in law who requested a sturdy brolly and one for my son who walks to work. Both have said that they're very pleased with them.

Compact and small enough to fit in your handbag, but on the couple of occasions I've used it coped well with the rain and wind, looks like it will last for a good number of years

Not used in particularly windy conditions but seems robust and sturdy enough. Has kept me try on numerous occasions. Would recommend. Easily portable.
