Have you come across a familiar product that you assume will be like all the rest and you are really surprised at just how so much better it is that the rest?Well if you have you will know what I mean if you have not them may I sugest you invest in one of these K-POP® Automatic travel umbrellas? It simply is the best constructed umbrella that I have ever had the pleasure of owning. The first thing you notice is that it feels a little more weighty than your average 'gamp'. This is due to the quality of materials used.A simple click of the button found the umbrella extended and unfurled itself in one, smooth, easy motion. You can see that the struts are reinforced with what look like springs. This means that not only is it rigid when up it is wind proof. It will not turn inside out like other cheaper 'brollys'.The actual grip of the device felt good too. It boast an 'ERGNOMIC HIGH GRIP HANDLE' this means that it is easy to get a good grip and you don't tire yourself out constantly having to maintain the correct angle in bad weather- the grip is rubberized too so not only it it water resistant (as it should be) it allows you a good grip in the wettest weather. It really is a comfortable brolly to hold up.It looks professional in that it is a neutral and smart black so great for the office if your work tends to be more formal. The clincher is that it folds up into just 29 cms (less than a foot) making it easy to store in your case, rucksack or pocket. Now they boasts that it is big enough for two people and opens to a full 37 inches or 94 cms. Hmm They would have to be lovers, very close or not corpulent to achieve that aim.But then who buys umbrellas for two people to shelter under apart from the Doorman at the Ritz Hotel? Exactly. As there were two buttons I pressed the second and was totally amazed when this made the umbrella close in a mirror action of its opening. Now this was a first for me. Folding down after using usually demands quite a bit of manoeuvring, turning the brolly to face away from the wind and people etc. This umbrella will save you hours of 'faffing' around folding up your umbrella in the future. It is as the blurb boasts 'ultra strong and from the feel of it I would tend to agree. At it heart is a strong aluminium pole that gives strength yet not weight. As I say above it's heavier than other similar umbrellas but them this will last 10 times as long and won't let you down. Now consider how many umbrellas you have had to junk when they break?I see that as I write this this is the number one seller in Golfing Umbrellas. Now one thing about those golfers is that although they have no dress sense on the golf course they recognise a quality and reliable umbrella when they see one. Finally the clincher and I really had to check twice is the price for this deluxe umbrella. At the moment it is an absolute bargain.Get one now whilst stocks last and you will be singing in the rain, fog, sleet and snows of winter whilst remaining dry.Thank you for reading this review.I really hope it has helped you make you choice.I was provided with my Umbrella by the suppliers. All they asked for was a fair review. This is one of the finest Umbrellas I have handled.

It is advertised as an ultra-wide, automatic umbrella, and that's exactly what it is but there is 1 extra key feature I love.Putting the umbrella back down is incredibly easy and since I am normally juggling a couple dozen items, this is the best feature anyone could have thought of for a wet umbrella! You simply press the button and it immediately collapses. All you need to do is lower the stick part back down to the handle. This design is brilliant, easy and simple, since you usually have to fiddle around with pushing the prongs down and in and usually it jumps back up at me giving me a nice shower with all the rain I thought for a moment I managed to avoid...The design here eliminates that perfectly.Another great improvement from my last umbrella is that the bag is wide enough to have the umbrella glide in smoothly without aligning all prongs perfectly. This umbrella folds nicely without the need to store the prongs in the handle. This umbrella is not one of those flimsy umbrella that turn inside out the minute the wind blows your way or can't be opened or closed at all because the spoke bent. Every part of it is well-constructed, from the open button push till you close it with that brilliant cllapsing button push again and pack it away in under 10 seconds. The handle is very pleasant to hold, which is non-slip when wet and soft texture when dry, and the cover, which is large enough to slip onto the folded easily when the umbrella's wet. Another great feature is that the cover not only protects the folded spokes from harming your bag or vice versa, but also stops a wet umbrella from dripping and leaving a wet trail behind you everywhere you go.The open close mechanism is very forceful and strong so make sure to hold onto the umbrella when pushing the button. This is a very durable umbrella, professional and convenient, is simple black colour. Would work very well for people who need it most days as well as anyone who carries an umbrella in their briefcase, handbag or backpack to work or school. It is indeed large enough to shelter two people, unless these 2 people have very different heights, but that is a separate issue. The up and down button is clear, easy to find, even in the dark country lane, without street lights.I received a discount on this product in return for an honest, authentic and realistic review.

I've had this cleverly made umbrella for a week now, and was able to take it outside for a proper test when it was raining yesterday. The umbrella is made of strong steel so the shaft won't warp and bend in the wind, and has a very secure feeling handle on its base. Its appearance is like the standard "Commuter" issue umbrella the 9-5 workforce use - but with the added feature of automatic unfold and then half re-fold.The umbrella shoots open with a confident Whoomp!Which is very "assertive" behaviour for an umbrella if you believe how an umbrella opens can reinforce a person's appearance.I can imagine in a story, the writer saying "John Rathbone was an assertive businessman, even as he stepped out of the office into the rain and opened his umbrella, it responded with an assertive and strong "Whoomp!". Yes, everything - including the mans umbrella - proclaimed "I'm assertive!""I played with it a bit indoors, because I liked how the "Whoomp!" sounded when pressing the trigger button on the handle. It's a very firm button - you're VERY unlikely to open the umbrella by accident. The best feature is that it CLOSES by the button too!"FWOOOMP!" goes the umbrella as the canopy flicks shut, produced by another sturdy press of the handle button. Now, this is the physics bit - if the umbrella opened and closed all the way with only the press of a button, the makers would have invented an infinite energy source - or it would need a large set of batteries to power a motor. As it has neither, the umbrella once the canopy has closed, needs a firm hand to slide the canopy back down towards the handle. This primes the two sets of springs in this cleverly made umbrella. The first set launch the umbrella open, the handle extending, and the canopy locking shut. The second set of springs pull the canopy closed - all that remains is a manual pull to contract the canopy to the handle for storage. The flick closed does a good job of getting a large portion of water off the canopy, so it doesn't dribble badly like other umbrellas do when they're closed. While I was out with the umbrella, there was a light wind, and the umbrella continued to feel sturdy in my grip. No doubt thanks to its strong steel construction. As for that "assertive" behaviour it has when opening and closing - I'll be taking it to my meetings through winter.

When I got my free sample of this, my initial reaction was: "This is a bit heavy for being so small."Well, it is a bit heavier than your usual compact, black standard-size umbrella, but that is for the very particular reason that this one is definitely more solid than your bog standard brolly.Having spent most of my life in Bergen, Norway, a city infamous for its rains, I have admittedly got used to cheap umbrellas. People lost them, they got broken by gusts of wind and - apparently in a court case a long time ago, it was once decided that because it rains so much there, stealing an umbrella from someone else is not a criminal offence as it's to be expected. Just like you'd expect a bike to be stolen in Amsterdam.Anyway, I digress. This is an umbrella you will want to keep, and which will probably withstand a lot of wind before it breaks. It is solidly constructed, all bits simply feel better and without any of the wobble you'd expect from a cheaper umbrella. Even the extra weight, minor as it is, is something you'd only notice when you pick it up the first time. Not having read the description properly before getting this, I was wondering why the button had an arrow pointing both ways, but then I realised that not only does it open the umbrella, but it closes it too, which I've never seen implemented in such an elegant way before. Admittedly, it doesn't close it all the way down into the initial position, and you have to push relatively hard to get it to click in place. I take this to mean that the spring that opens it is strong and will last a really long time without losing its pop.I know it is a bit more pricey than your regular umbrella, but if you take good care of it, it should most likely take good care of you. Now I just have to wait for an actual rainy - and preferably windy day so I can try it out and not only have to play with it inside. Is it worth the cost? I think it is, unless you're likely to lose your umbrella - or have it stolen from you - in which case you should probably go with cheaper ones. If you know how to take care of your things, I think this is as good as a plain, standard black umbrella gets, and I can't but recommend it.Disclaimer: some sounds may have been changed in the video. That is not how the umbrella actually sounds - although it would have been very cool if it did.

OK, what we have here is seemingly just another mid-sized black umbrella. But, The K-Pop appears to be a pretty fine one and certainly better built than those found in most shops or with a designer tag.The build quality of this product generates a quiet sense of confidence. It's automatic open and close action is smooth and responsive. The woven fabric is very water repellent and high density. Although mine is new and only time will tell, it appears to perform slickly. Neither light nor heavy, long or short; this brolly handles impeccably.Perhaps a future maintenance dab of silicone or lithium grease will ensure smooth action throughout its life - especially since, this final closing action also tenses and charge the sprung frame springs for its next opening. The frame consists of stainless steel and a composite resembling carbon fibre - certainly much more rugged and substantial than in cheaper counterparts - without adding significant additional weight. The handle is a tad compact, but is lightly rubberised for easy grip and is just large enough to hold securely.Yes, it might have helped reduce the impact of wind resistance incorporating a vented cover, and this is my main reservation. I note that the curvature of the frame causes the periphery to sweep downwards at its periphery - which must help to resist wind getting up and under. I'll adapt my review in the light of more prolonged experience and stress tests.Disclaimer: I acquired this umbrella for review for the cost of postage. The responses I have recorded above are considered and honest and not written in response to any discount received.I am genuinely, looking forward to he next storm so I can brandish my new brolly. Of course, like any umbrella, it should be pointed into the direction of the wind where possible, but of course, this is not always practicable.I believe, however that this is a very well constructed device and reasonably judicious use, should stand the test of time.

Unlike a lot of reviews I read on Amazon for this item, this review comes from someone (me, in case there was any doubt) who actually PAID for the umbrella. This was NOT sent to me free by the company. So how does the Umbrella actually hold up?Just a brief bit of context. My previous umbrella was a larger, almost police baton type thing when it was in sleeve. It served me well and provided good coverage but eventually the button jammed and it died. I am 6'4 and quite a big guy so the fact any umbrella was large enough to cover me was remarkable. When buying this K-POP Automatic umbrella, this was my biggest concern. For such a smaller fit, how big would it actually be? Would I get good coverage in the rain???Would it collapse with a slight gust or hold its own??I am pleased to report that even for a large guy, this covers me really well. Occasionally I will feel a few splatters but thats mostly down to how I am holding it. As for weight that others mentioned, I personally have had absolutely no issue with its weight. It feels well made and strong but it didn't add any extra weight over my previous one.One of things I really like about the K-POP is firstly, that it actually covers me and I am quite a big guy but secondly, it collapses down very neatly. It is about the size of a pencil case. Meaning it can sit in my bag without any problem and won't add much weight or take too much space. I even took it on holiday with me - I mean, why not??If there is any downside I see, its a bit of false advertising from the makers. They state this can be enough coverage for 2 people. Well, unless the 2 people are somehow attached, very skinny and are very small, this is definitely NOT for 2 people. This is for 1 person use only. Regardless of if you are 5'4 or 6'4.Other than that, so far, a great umbrella! :)I will update this again when it faces some strong winds in winter.

'what's so special? It's just an umbrella' is something that might be thought by many people when browsing for their very own brolly. But the truth is, and I know I can't be alone when I say this, how many times have you bought an umbrella, the cheapest you can find and it's either been flimsy, blown inside out with ease or just out right broke at the slightest bit of bad weather? Because I know I have, on many occasions. And so when the opportunity arose to try a windproof umbrella I couldn't refuse. And living in the lake district an umbrella is a necessity! The first thing I noticed when it arrived was how luxurious it felt and looked. The matte black handle with push button opening mechanism is sleek in design. The handle is comfortable to hold and once the umbrella is open the entire thing feels very sturdy and I have every confidence that it will hold up well against the Cumbrian winds and weather. An extra feature of this umbrella is not only does the push button feature extend and open the brolly but it also retracts it too. So no more nipped skin or sore thumbs from pushing in little metal pieces to put down your brolly. Both the opening and closing feature on this brolly is fast and has some vigor behind it, not a bad thing but perhaps something to be mindful of when using. It comes with velcro fastening and an individual cover to slip the brolly into when not in use and a wrist/hanging cord. This is a single person umbrella so whilst you could huddle a group of people underneath if the need arose it would certainly be less effective and some folks would get dripped on from the rain over the edges. The simple yet luxurious design of this umbrella makes it suitable for all occasions. And you can be guaranteed that it will hold up against the elements. All in all I would highly recommend this umbrella as it will be long lasting in both design and use.

I bought this umbrella for my mother's funeral, when torrential thunderstorms were predicted. They didn't materialise, but I love the umbrella. It was advertised as an ultra-wide, automatic umbrella, and that's exactly what it is.This umbrella is not one of those flim-flammy things that die on you because the spoke bent. Every part of it is well-constructed, including the 'automatic' mechanism, an up-facing which shoots the umbrella open when pressed. To bring the umbrella down again, there is a matching down-facing arrow. It's useful if you have your hands full, or are disabled in some way, or simply don't want to have to get yourself or another wet whilst you erect the umbrella.I very much like the handle, which is non-slip when wet, and the cover, which is large enough to slip onto the folded easily when the umbrella's wet. One particularly helpful feature is that the cover has flaps which not only protect the folded spokes from harm in your bag, but also stop a wet umbrella from dripping in the train on your way to work.If I had to mention any disadvantages, perhaps I'd say that the umbrella is just that bit heavier than most pocket umbrellas. Also, the automatic mechanism shoots up really fast, so don't be shocked by it. These are characteristics rather than minus points, if I'm honest.Suitable for those who want a very durable umbrella, in a plain business-like style and colour. Would work very well for chauffeurs, door-keepers etc, as well as anyone who carries an umbrella in their brief-case or back-pack to work. Large enough to shelter two people, including one wearing a prom-gown or wedding dress. The up and down button is clear, easy to find - suitable for those with a visual disability and incidentally, clearly visible in dim light.

I have never heard of an umbrella that you push the button to collapse as well as put up.I am really impressed with this umbrella. The quality is excellent, can't stand flimsy umbrellas that look pretty but are as useful as a chocolate teapot! This is a good size, well made and keeps off the rain perfectly. The materials used for the handle are a welcome addition as well as it feels nice to hold. It seems that the company that designed this did some great research and incorporated it into the end design. When you press the button to put the umbrella up it does so with a swift and straight to the point action.Putting the umbrella back down is bliss. You simply press the button and it immediately collapses. All you need to do is lower the stick part back down to the handle. This design is a godsend because usually you have to fiddle around drawing the umbrella down at the same time as bringing it in which no matter how hard you try you end up with water droplets showering you. The design here eliminates that perfectly. The final point that I like is I hate folding an umbrella down and then trying to lie the prongs to fit into the handle ( quite common with this style of umbrella but again this has been thought about and you don't need to as the umbrella folds nicely without the need to store the prongs in the handle and the cover supplied is more then adequate to accommodate the brolly.I received this umbrella at a reduced cost as I was asked to review it and give my honest and unbiased opinion. My overall opinion can be summed up in a sentenceFinally a quality umbrella that you don't need to struggle with.

This umbrella is a very interesting one. When I received this, both me and my husband had a play with the functions of popping it open and then collapsing. It's a pretty powerful force, it seems to propel in a forceful sort of way.You have to press the button found on the handle to open it, and also press it for it to collapse. But you do need some strength to then shorten the length. I feel it may not be one for those that have weaker strength in the hands/arms.And you have to shorten it properly before you can reopen it again.I read reviews where people were not happy with the umbrella not working effectively, so I took it upon myself to shower the umbrella in my bathroom to see whether it's a real flaw with the fabric.I gave it a real torrential rain type shower as you can see the drops on the first pic. My thoughts are that it seemed to hold the water back fine, but I did feel the fabric on the underside and it did feel a little damp. When you hold the umbrella up to the light, you can see small holes/gaps. I do wonder if this is where people find the issue? But I think a lot of umbrellas would also fare the same way.Overall, I think it's a great umbrella, and it feels like a very good quality one, the construction also feels pretty solid. I bought this umbrella on promotion as I needed another one, and I think it's something that will be useful in the general drizzle we have in the UK.

AT LAST a brolly that actually does slip simply into its handy little sleeve. Hooray!I've seen people struggling even to find the catch on cheaper umbrellas but on K-POP's offering it sits clearly visible in the handle, not hidden in the spokes. This one pops itself up on an elastic mechanism that's clever enough to collapse itself as well, the only apparent drawback being that it doesn't like half measures but has to be fully closed before it will open again, seemingly to cock the workings.Mine worked smoothly and stood up to some strong gusting winds. I didn't get wet, though it's true I missed most of the rain this week. This brolly is on the small side which makes it easier to manoeuvre and better for busy pavements. If it wouldn't be ideal for sharing well, that's not what umbrellas are meant for, anyway. This would normally be £24.99 but they're half price at Amazon where I got mine for favour of review. It would have to be a very special umbrella to get my £24.99 and at £14.98 I'd have had to think twice about buying such a thing on sight alone but having tried it yes, I would. It's stylish, it works well and it looks well-enough built to outlast pound-shop cheapies by a long chalk, too and the only reason it doesn't yet get five stars is that I'm not yet able to say how it will stand up to a whole winter.

A brolly is essential in the UK climate and I find a folding brolly to be the most practical.I was offered this for review but (unusually!) had to wait a few days for it to rain so I could test it in a downpour. It's a good, practical and functional brolly. It has a smooth rubberised handle, wrist strap for carrying and packs down to 28x 5cm to fit into its supplied carrying case. It's well-built and this is demonstrated by its smooth operation when pushing the 'up' arrow at which point it wooshes into action to provide a large 94cm umbrella canopy with a good, strong build and very different to the cheapies available in boutique-style shops and supermarkets. Taking down the brolly is just as rapid - at a press of the 'down'arrow it collapses down at speed. The user will need to complete the last stage manually so it clicks into place ready to shoot back into action again. This is not a typical 'High Street' umbrella, most of which tend to be quite flimsy, considerably smaller and, in use, are often flatter on top providing less protection and are prone to blowing inside out at the slightest breeze. Instead, this has a noticeably curved dome shaped canopy which ensures greater protection from the elements, both wind and rain, in use.A very well-designed brolly.

Not going to lie, I was pretty put off by the amount of "I received this free or at a discount for an unbiased review" reviews. However I've ended up liking the product. It's small enough to have a permanent spot in my rucksack so I never really have to think about whether or not I remembered to pack an umbrella which is a good start. The outer sleeve means that the struts don't get caught or damaged but sometimes it takes a minute to get it back in the sleeve. The umbrella definitely holds true to the "POP", when you've taken the umbrella out of the sleeve and undone the velcro pushing the button causes the handle to extend and the umbrella to open up, with quite the punch. When I bought it I was a little confused by the push to close aspect although what I found that out to mean is that pushing the button again when the umbrella is open simply causes the umbrella to fold up again (perfect when you need to get through a door in a hurry) however the handle remains extended. You then have to push the handle back in (feels like youre loading a spring for the next time it open although that's probably what you are doing). Anyway, great product, its survived the winds of the North and don't be put off by the vast array of the aforementioned style of reviews.

The item arrived quickly and was very securely packed. I though it would be quite big but its the perfect size! Its not too big or too flimsy like those umbrellas that cost a couple of quid and only last you 2 minutes out in the rain. It folds compactly and the sleeve keeps everything in place. The quick release system is very handy and sturdy but its worth noting that the release and collapse of the brolly is quite strong and sudden so point away from yourself and others when using the feature. With one click of the button (and with the strap unattached) the brolly expands beautifully and with another click, the canopy folds away nicely. However, when the brolly collapses, the actual 'stem'retains its length and you DO need to apply a bit of pressure in order to fold everything how it was. But other than that, the mechanism is faultless. There have been two times in which the brolly turned inside out but just a quick snap pulled it back into place and this was in serious hurricane winds (so much so that my body was at a near 180 degree angle as I struggled not to be carried out into the skies Mary Poppins style). Other than these two ocassions, the brolly has maintained its shape and has kept me dry. Very strong and reliable. Definetly worth the price
