This must be one of the Fulton's most under looked umbrellas. It definitely has a much more dandy appearance than its brethren. To my mind with the brass ferule holder and nicely grained genuine Italian sourced Elmwood handle this comes very close in feel & quality to a Samuel Fox umbrella but at a fraction of the price.For comparison, I'd say the Fulton 'Huntsman' brolly is heavier and probably better for storm weather, however the Fulton 'Commissioner' would deal adequately with a good shower and just looks so much nicer. It compares very well to my Samuel Fox brolly.Just a nice stylish 'chap' umbrella in my opinion.

A no-nonsense, fully-functional, strongly-built, satisfactorily large, traditional umbrella. Attractively understated, much more elegant to carry, when sleekly folded, than the ubiquitous golf brolly. No additional, built-in, bulky mechanisms with which to open and close the canopy. Top quality materials have been used in its construction. Meets every one of my requirements. Looked after properly, this item should serve you well and long! Just the job, thanks!

I ordered this as a I needed a second umbrella as I always tend to leave one in the office... Uk weather means one minute it is raining and the next we have clear skies/The packaging was fine, box was slightly larger then needed, so far it has held up well & i would recommend it to those wanting to use a larger umbrella as opposed to the compact ones fulton normally sell

I'd buy another without any hesitation, but I'd ask that Fulton pack the handle end as well as they pack the rest for shipping as mine arrived with a small but noticible chip in the crest of the beautify handle. Very annoying. Particularly as I noticed from the reviews that I'm not the first with this issue.Come on Fulton - it must be the packing... isn't it..?

As I live in England rain seems to be a daily occurrence and so I needed to buy an umbrella. This umbrella fit the description I was looking for, small but not too small with a wooded handle and a smart appearance. I take it everywhere and it is very sturdy against the wind and also very light and easy to carry. Great value for money!

This was requested as a Christmas present. Unfortunately had to return it as it had a fault but requested and received areplacement very promptly. This is being forwarded to my grandson who requested it. Apart from the fault in the first oneit was a very impressive umbrella and I am sure the replacement will be first class.

This is the more elegant gents' umbrella in the Fulton range - perhaps not as robust as the Huntsman - but certainly more traditional looking and feeling like a proper city gent's umbrella without the massive price tag of a Fox. In passing, I should add that it is excellent for keeping the rain off my head in a heavy shower.

A lightweight, strong product that can be carried on a daily basis and has just enough room underneath for two.The design and construction have not let me down, the fittings are good and the handle smooth and a pleasure to hold.Cannot fault.... have owned for a few very wet months with no problems and only positive points.

I bought the brolley for my daughters wedding just in case! Luckily I did not need it but I have received a couple of comments regarding its stylish looks. So far so good, just need to test it in the wind and rain, which should be no problem living in wales.............. Hence the jury is still out on its performance.

Because of a bad back, I needed either a cane or a brolly for Ascot and this did the trick admirably. Not as sturdy as a walking stick, but much more appropriate for the occasion, with that ever-so-slightly unfurled look. Yes, the handle is soft wood, but it's a Fulton and it's cheap as chips! Very nice umbrella.

I have had the umbrella for quite a few months now which usually lives in the boot of the car. The wooden handle sets off the umbrella but being wood I am just waiting for the time when I damage it by dropping a box on it. A plastic handle offers better protection but lacks class.

A brilliant umbrella well made with a real wooden handle, very pleased with purchase. Previously I was looking at umbrellas around £100 but with money being short this cost me a quarter of that. You wont be disappointed if you buy a Fulton umbrella.

I love this umbrella! It's still going strong after a good while, albeit with a slightly bent spoke due to an accident. Sturdy construction and great looks. Plenty of compliments from friends while I've had it! Long live the commissioner!

My third Foulton Umbrella from amazon, and none of them has broke in Scottish wind yet. The gold band at the start of the wooden part looks a bit cheap. But overal the item is standard high quality you would expect from the brand.

Stylish, elegant, does exactly what I wanted it to do. If the brand is good enough for Her Majesty then it's good enough for me. Fantastic product for the price, can imagine I will have this for years to come.
