Great little umbrella to carry around in a handbag, comes in a lovely silky pouch and looks really well made. Has bendable framework which is probably what makes it unbreakable. I have the bigger version of this umbrella too but love the size of it and feels extremely sturdy. Tried it whilst we had storm Eric and it survived. You can test windproofness by swinging the open umbrella around you. It IS possible to get it to turn inside out if you swing really hard, but it easily pops back in. If it's SUPER windy I don't think any umbrella is going to do you any good anyway, you get wet nonetheless!Some people are saying it's not compact or lightweight. Well, it's 369 grams, you decide if that's heavy or not.

Quick update, just bought another one of these brollies, well worth the money!********************Below is my first review of this brolly, just bought another, really happy, strong. Gone are all those cheap umbrellas I kept buying for a few pounds which only lasted one or two uses, my hallway was stuffed with broken cheap umbrellas - not now, bought the second one not because the first broke but for a friend who was impressed how long mine has lasted.***************So far so good, I've had quite a few umbrellas over the past year, ranging from the cheapest when you know its too cheap and won't last but worth a try to over priced and a bit fiddly.

I needed a sturdy brolly to stand up to gales in the city, so chose this one for both the design and the colour. It's excellent for the price, and large, although I would prefer a manually operated one. The annoying thing with automatics like this is I go to the shops in the rain, I only partially close the umbrella to go in the shop (you have to press the button to close the 'head' of the brolly up again) I come out of the shop in the rain, press the button to open up the 'head' of the brolly again - and nothing happens because I haven't actually closed up the wet umbrella fully using both hands before going into the shop. It takes a fair bit of pressure, using both hands, to close the umbrella fully.

I recently purchased two of these umbrellas on the strength of reviews left by others. I am really pleased that I did because the umbrellas are of really good quality, sturdy and reliable. We were able to use the umbrellas in windy conditions without the worry that the wind will turn them upside down and splash us or leave us wet despite actually carrying umbrellas (which used to be the case with other, less strong umbrellas). The open and close mechanism works reliably too, and really does give you the confidence you are holding a solid umbrella. We also found them to be quick-drying which is great. The umbrellas came in cellophane covers over a velour carry bag which is quite elegant and would also make a lovely gift.

This umbrella had great reviews and a great price, so I thought I'd try one. After purchasing, I was solicited by the manufacturer to provide this feedback, as they indicated they really care and want to keep making it better. That makes a ery good impression (although the email was clearly written by someone whose primary language is NOT English).The umbrella is too new to me to really provide any comment other than it has a very unique closing system, where you collapse it with the same button that you open it with. The mechanical closing system is very quick. You still have to retract it manually,

This is a great little umbrella which springs into action at the touch of a button. Used it in anger yesterday in torrential rain and it worked a treat - just what I needed, a lightweight brolly I can keep in my rucksack on my walk to work along a very long unprotected road, that can be whipped out at a moments notice when needed (like yesterday). I initially thought it a bit bigger than I expected when I first opened the Amazon wrapping, but this is slightly deceiving as the bag it's contained in makes it look bigger when folded up than it really is.Add to all this the incredible effort taken by the manufacturer to make sure you're happy with the product and you can't help but be

This is a well made and sturdy umbrella that is easily large enough for two people to share. It is slightly larger and heavier than I expected from a compact umbrella, but that is easily explained when examining the quality of the materials and the solid construction. It is supposedly unbreakable and designed to withstand winds of up to 55mph, although I can't imagine anybody trying to use it under those conditions.The automatic open and close button is a great feature and works well, and the water repellent canopy dries quickly.I am not too impressed with the oversized velvety drawstring bag, and would have preferred a less bulky tighter fitting cover.

This umbrella is very good quality, the frame is sturdy so should last a while. The fabric is lightweight and kinda see through in the sense that you can see bits of light if you hold it up to the sunlight but still does the job of keeping the water out (suppose it means its quicker drying).The handle is spot on, shouldn't slip out your hand if wet and the mechanism is great too, very responsive and works quickly.The 2 things I don't like about this umbrella are the cover (Its soft velvet, not water resistant at all) and that the centre section of the umbrella has a square cut out so you have to get it lined up just right in order to close it correctly.

Strongly recommend to buy this umbrella, it's worthy the money. I love it very much.Honestly, I was tired of buying umbrella after umbrella for them to just easily break due to the wind. So I finally bought the sf compact travel umbrella, I'm impressed and really loved it. I had to wait a bit to test in rainy day or a big wind day, and got the chance three days ago. it worked really awesome in the big wind. The frame held up without so much as a creak, really sturdy and easy to handle.It was a fantastic buy and I highly recommend this product - not only for the good quality but also for its great customer service.Strongly recommend!!!

It was raining so much recently. Needed something like this item to keep me dry. Yesterday I went to the East coast in Florida where it rains a lot because of tropical storm Humberto.And decided to take my new umbrella with me. Ny first impression the umbrella is durable, lightweight, compact. It is quick drying too.Convenient for traveling. It fits everywhere from a car door to the travel backpack, and you hardly notice the umbrella is there.Forgot to mention that the handle has a good grip. Umbrella is automatic, easily opens by pressing a button, so no wrestling with the opening mechanism. The umbrella comes with a waterproof case.

I purchased this as a gift for a 10 year old byo through the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. The card listed 3 things he wanted and 3 things he needed (I assume these were chosen by his guardians). I got him 2 of the things he wanted and 1 of those he needed ( an umbrella). I was very pleased to see the umbrella when it arrived. It was well packaged and packed including a very nice carrying/protective bag, with a note on using the umbrella enclosed I have not used the umbrella so I felt I could not honestly rate it a 5, but I assume from the attention to detail i observed that it will operate well and deserve a 5.

I live on the coast and most days it gets pretty breezy. This umbrella is quite sturdy and the canopy material doesn't become saturated even in heavy rain. Durability so far is good and the opening and closing mechanism works well. I have since purchased a second umbrella for my wife who is of slight build and although she found it a little heavy to carry at first but now has got used to it eveything is fine. The addition of long metal springs attached to each canvas spoke adds to the weight but given our previous umbrellas were forever blowng inside out is a fair trade to keep us dry.

The umbrella arrived in good time, was well packaged and well presented. I like the automatic feature of it - it also closes at the touch of the button, which is very useful. I've not used it in the wind and the rain as yet, but it seems very sturdy and of very good quality, so I have no doubt it will perform well. It also comes with a guarantee. I'm tired of buying flimsy umbrellas that fall apart soon after purchase, and I'm pleased with this one. Good quality at a very good price. I bought the black one for my husband, and the blue one with white clouds on it for me. Love it!

A lovely compact umbrella that perfectly fits in backpacks and bigger purses. It has an automatic opening and a windproof design that it is especially needed in Northern England haha.Can agree with other reviewers that say that it is quite a strong umbrella that sometimes it requires an effort to shut it down.The weight is perfect to my mind, which means not too heavy and not light enough to be broken after a strong wind. Good balance.However, I have noticed after 2 months of using it that Auto open system is not opening the umbrella until the end and I need to help it a bit.

I wasn't expecting to have to use an umbrella for a while with all the sun we've been having, but really pleased I'd bought this before the weather turned!It comes with a fabric bag/cover to keep it in and has a button on the handle to open the umbrella automatically. This works really well and the umbrella goes up in seconds, which is handy when you get caught in a sudden shower.I haven't been able to test it in a downpour and wind yet, but it seems really sturdy and I reckon it would hold out well and not turn inside out.It's easy to put down again and dries quickly.
