it does what it says on the box but I have to add that it is brilliant for the disabled gardener who doesn't know what they are cutting! it edges around things that I'm told are plants and not weeds and weeds don't stand a chance.

Ok this would be no good if your taller then 4'10 but at my height and under its perfect rare to get a strimmer that I can use given my lack of height

Second one these I've owned. Has a short 3yrs life with the heavy duty on over an acre of edging each wk through the summer. Good weight

I specifically bought this item because it had only one cutting line. Others that had two cutting lines were problematic . Thank you.
