Great mower for a large garden, easy to set up and gives a good cut (with various spacers to adjust height). It has a metal blade, so it should last a while before it’ll require sharpening. It does get quiet heavy if your grass is stupidly long (like mine was) as it’s unable to hover, in that circumstance I’d suggest strumming down the long bits first. Also, make sure you have an long extension lead if your garden is on the large side as the length of the cord on its own isn’t great.

Always had a heavy grass-collecting mower, so thought same again. But not the case. This mower is so light and glides over the lawn. You can almost dance with it :-) Cuts mowing time for me by at least a third. Doesn't spew out grass onto paths and driveways. That's a big deal for me. Another win - the experts say clippings are good for a lawn! If you cut your grass regularly April - September you don't actually need to collect the grass. So much easier all round. Happy days!!

This is amazing! Just what I have been looking for.It looks big but is so light that is not an issue. Hovers brilliantly, because of the size of its surround.Works brilliantly and delivers a neat, even cut on my less than smooth garden. Did not cut into any lumps and bumps, it treated it like it was centre court at Wimbledon! Very easy to move when in use. Good length cable. Easy to assemble ( for woman with weak wrist) Easy to clean after use.No criticism at all

Wanted one of these for ages, to replace an old heavy petrol mower. Did lots of research online and decided this was the best one for us because it has a decent motor size for a big lawn. It is fairly light and easy to use. It really glides about, even through fairly long grass. We chose to have one without a box to collect the clippings because it would make it too clumpy and we think it's easier to rake it up than keep emptying a box. Pleased we bought it.

I've owned a Flymo turbo lite 350 (35cm cut width), for around 12 years, during which time, it has handled regular mowing and ridiculously tough levelling of unkempt lawns. It now needs replacing, BUT that model is no longer made ... Luckily the slightly larger and more powerful 400 model (40cm cut width) IS available and at a much lower price from Argos, than the 350 can be purchased (if you can find one!) . . . That's a good deal!!!

A straightforward machine. Typical Flymo design but much improved, especially with the return of the metal blade. The previous plastic ones were off-putting. The elegant robustness and ease of cleaning is another plus. Also the cord length was a pleasant surprise. Finally, any future spare parts that might be needed was adequately covered in the supplied literature. A highly recommended buy.

I've had a heavy Flymo with collecting grass collecting box for years, but eventually it gave up the ghost. I thought "why do without a grass collecting box and save a bit of weight" ( I struggle more with lifting things as I get older). This mower fitted the bill and does the job. Super buy. Can't say more, I've got to go and mow the grass. I'm quite looking forward to it.

A replacement for a 350 Lite as it was getting old and struggling. With just a cushion of air, this mower can get round flowerbeds and wild flowers in our grass much better than a mower on wheels or rollers. Also it does not increase in weight as you use it, unlike Flymos with a grass collector. It manages our large grass area with ease. Just the mower for my requirements.

Because my garden is on a steep slope I have to use a hover mower. I used to have the smaller less powerful version of this.the 339. The 400 is worth the extra the bigger cutting area means that it takes a lot less time. Seem to be very little difference in weight but a huge step up in performance.

We have a sloped garden that is difficult to maintain with a standard mower with wheels. Decided to buy this hover mower instead and now cutting the grass is so much easier and quicker! Worth the money and would definitely recommend it if you are also struggling with mowing on a slope.

Really pleased with this purchase (which replaced a previous Flymo with grass collection). This model is really easy to maneuver - makes cutting my biggish lawn, with its dips, trees and bumps MUCH easier. The fact that it stores 'flat' means it takes up much less room in the shed too.

I bought this lawnmower to replace my old Flymo hover mower that gave up, after 20 yrs of non stop service :) Am very pleased with my purchase, and found the product easy to use and very effective. Its a bit bigger than I would have wanted, but am very happy with my purchase.

This Flymo worked almost immediately out-of-the-box, which was what I wanted. The few bits to assemble went together easily. I bought this model as my lawn is on a slope and having had one before, I knew this would do the trick in my new home. It did!

Very lightweight for the size but well made and easy to assemble.Powerful 1500w motor and big blade for medium to large size gardens.Doesn't collect the grass but cuts the grass very finely so not always necessary to rake it up afterwards.

Got it to replace old 2 stoke hover that ended its life recently , just for the 2 bankings at top of our terraced garden , coped with it well , lightweight to carry up and use ,Just be careful of trailing cable , nice and quiet .
