For the price, this is a really good lawnmower!Prior to that and because we have a small garden here, we had tried a Bosch AHM 38 G Manual Garden Lawn Mower, which was only a couple of pounds cheaper. Boy did that misfire! The Bosch manual mower was just painful to use and would randomly clog or tear up entire pieces off of our lawn every couple of meters. We returned it after the first try and decided we should try to do things properly and get an electric lawnmower, especially as there was not much of a price difference.We eventually chose that Flymo Easimo mower and couldn't be happier!- adjusting the cutting height is really easy and requires no tool whatsoever.- the product is quite safe

Light and effective household back garden mower, it has a 34" cut, the light weight models are 32", so suitable for a medium lawn.It doesn't do clever tricks like high end mowers, like a really close bowling green shave or lovely stripes in the lawn (says it does, but too light on the roller)I had a Hover Flymo years ago - it was terrible, could not do edges, uneven lawns and mulched the grass into a green pulp that had to be scraped off the underside and lumps in the lawn which stained your hands green.This mover has gone the more popular route and added wheels and a horizontal rotating metal blade (wear proper shoes if you like your toes)It is very easy to move around and that helps on small housing rear gardens,

To put into context: I have only used this mower once, and if anything changes I will certainly return to update my review. My back garden has two very small lawns (about 4m x 3m) hence the purchase of this small mower. The cutting width is only 32cm, so would not be ideal for larger lawns - although its small size contributes to its light weight, making for faster work, so it's swings and roundabouts.Pro's:Easy to put together in about 5 minutesVery lightweight, so a doddle to push around, even uphillGives a truly excellent short cut, with no clumps taken outBlade cuts very close to the edge, so minimal strimming required along walls and fencesGrass box has a decent capacityCheapConsNo assembly instructions included,

This mower is not perfect, but it will cut your grass well enough and for under £40 from Homebase (sorry Amazon) its well worth it!It feels more like a hoover than a lawnmower & is so light & flimsy that when the grass box if full it will tilt backwards when you let go.TIP - its advisable to pay £7.99 for 3 years cover (Homebase offer) as its more than likely that at some point you will mow over and cut the cord, you may think you won't…but some day you probably will, its easily done, I've done it before.Assembly is easy, a monkey could do it, i hate assembling stuff but this was strait forward enough, no tools required. I have it standing upright in my shed, thats how light it is, kind of like a toy,

This is a very well designed lawnmower from Flymo. It’s a tad expensive but I do think it’s worth paying that bit extra. I bought a cheap lawnmower last year for about 50 pounds. It does the job but it’s flimsy, doesn’t give a good cut and one of the wheels keeps falling off. I could tell straight away that this product is way better.Assembly is straightforward and took only a couple of minutes. It’s a good size and has a powerful motor, and power levers on both sides of the handle which makes it ambidextrous, something you don’t often get. The cord is a good length and all your cuttings get collected in the attached bin which is easy to detach and empty. As the unit is so powerful it makes light work of even heavy thick grass,

This is a very nice, lightweight but robust mower with a very decent 34cm width rotary cut. It is well made with all materials of a very decent quality. It has a 10m mains cord and a 35L grass box which includes a full indicator. I do like the fact that this mower allows for getting in close to the edge of the lawn and this is a one if five grass cut height settings which are easy to set during mowing (when stopped of 20mm to 60mm). As one who loves a well mown lawn with stripes, the very best feature I love is the rear roller. This is not often found on similar domestic machines; this gives your lawn that really professional looking cut effect. The handles fold for easy storage,

This Flymo Mower is Great,it is really easy to put together,it took me about 5 minutes. I am really impressed with the quality and how the mower works,it didn't take long at all to do my front garden and it has taken the length of the grass down to a level that I am very happy with. This mower has 3 settings depending on how long or short you like your lawn,you also don't need a screwdriver it's just your own strength to fit some of the piece's together,I also noticed that this mower gets right up close to the edges and hold's a good amount of grass.I am also very pleased with the safety feature because you cannot accidentially turn the mower on,you have to squeeze the handle then press the button first.I am very happy with my purchase,the price and seller.

I think this lawn mower will serve me well but unfortunately I am unable to use it as yet because I received it just as the weather changed from dry and warm to constantly wet every day. Therefore it isn't really possible to mow the lawn at present as the grass is totally soggy. The reason I have given 4 stars is because the instructions are not as clear as they should be. The grass box was fiendishly difficult to put together (top part of box fitting into bottom part) but I managed it in the end. Also, the instructions for adjusting the cutting height via the wheels doesn't actually tell you HOW to adjust the wheels. You are supposed to raise or lower the wheels for this but do you pull them,

Had to replace my old rotary mower so opted for this lightweight Flymo easy to put together except the grass box took some time with deep breaths.Rest was easy it already has the cable prewired so no worry’s thier.Seems easy to replace blade down the road and has three cutting heights which is a little arkward to do but normally once you have your height you only change it at the start and end of season.Easy to start and hold down and does not matter if you are left or right handed.I have a little moan sorry two, fine grass gets into all the crevasse etc so you need to brush down the mower each time after use and no cable hooks so you have to wrap the cable around the handle which is about 30

Brilliant. For years I used a flymo hover machine, thinking it was lighter than a wheeled lawn mower. As I have a very bad back I needed to ensure that mowing was not too heavy. My neighbour let me try her turbo version of the wheeled mower and I realised how easy it could be. So I bought this one, as I only have a small lawn, and it is a pleasure to use. Even changing the height is simple and my lawn has never looked so good. It is only a narrow cut so if you have a medium sized laden I think a wider mowing surface would be better. But for me this one is just what I needed, and as it wheels into the shed, no more lifting to carry it in.

Overall very pleased with the mower, the large grass box is excellent and the 38 cms blade cuts right up the the lawn edges. On the minus side, the length of the lead is just too short for my lawns. It would be a good idea and added value as well as a necessary safety device' to fit as standard, an anti surge plug, just in case you accidentally ran over the live lead.Delivery was a nightmare, I received an 'Electric Fan' instead of the 'Lawn Mower' and had to send it back before being able to take delivery of my original order. This all took over three weeks, which is highly unsatisfactory.

Have used Flymo over the past few months and found it to be very reliable. Set it on medium cut but find moving theheight bar difficult. I am elderlly (80) and now don't have the strenght to move the bar. Attention to this point would bean advantage.Grass box on first viewing looked a bit fragile but when assembled is was very sturdy and holds a lot well packed .grassI did take advantage of the Flymo insurance . Now have peace of mind that I will have a good working machine. for3 yearsJames Henderson

Only used once for a small patch of about 8sq meters. Did the job brilliantly but I just wish there was an even higher cut setting because the 6cm still seems too low. Nice long lead. It did require a bit of thinking to assemble because the instructions are very poor or non existent. Just have to look at one picture, that's it, no actual instructions to follow, for that I take off one star because it was a bit tricky and will be difficult for the average person.I would recommend it though.

This is a good little mower. It is cheap so don't expect professional landscaping equipment.We have a small bit of grass and I had enough cutting it with the trimmer so ordered one of these. It is easy to assemble and light to push around. The only thing I found a bit flimsy is the collector thing which seems pretty weak.I gave it 4 stars because it feels cheap but I spent 50 quod so what else can I expect? It is ok for what I need but any larger garden would need something more beefy.

Good item for the money..... nice and light which was what I wanted and easy to manage. We haven't had the weather for a good test yet - but looks good.If I have any criticism it is that the grass-box is unnecessarily clumsy to put together. It comes in two parts, and the top fits to the bottom by 10 clips situated INSIDE the box!! This is a design fault which needs addressing. (The air was blue in my house!)Excellent carrier....... quick and efficient delivery.
