Bought an extension cable as we needed slightly more reach than the ten meters of cable that comes with the flymo . Used two spacers to start with as grass had got quite longthen added the third spacer to take the blade down lower after the initial cut . Excellentfinish and ideal for our size lawns . Might want bigger or more powerful machine if you have acres of garden but this is fine for us . Got some safety goggles for using with a hedge trimmer so use these when mowing the lawn too.

This is my fourth flymo, and the smallest. I cut the grass for the first time at the standard height straight out of the box, and it did not collect much grass. I added two spacers which were not hard to fit, for a shorter cut. The grass was a bit overgrown as the last lawnmower failed. A thorough mow sorted out the grass, and I am impressed with the performance of the new flymo. More regular cuts with the new mower will compensate for the smaller size, it does seem powerful for its size.

Arrived well packaged and with clear assembly instructions. Three seetings for the height of cut prefered. Easy to clean although to avopid possible overheating of Husqvarna engine you need to brush away any grass, etc deposits to prevent them building up on the front grille. Otherwise the unit does excatly what it says. A definite improvement on the - now unavailable - lighter flymo which had plastics cutiing blades and now basket to catch the 'cuttings'. Would definitely recommend.

This flymo hover vac was as expected. Perfect for use in the small garden though you will need to trim the lawn edges with something else. Yes, grass does fly around a bit and a sweep up of surrounding area after use is needed but the 'vac' part of the lawnmower picks up most of the cut grass from the lawn. I have found that to get nearer to the edge of the lawn a little lift of the mower does help. The variable cutting height is easy to change.

I purchased this Flymo hover vac lawnmower as I have had one before, it is very easy to use and does actually hover/glide across the lawn, easier to use than one you have to push, it doesn't take much to fit it together.... the only slight problem I had was when I wanted to change the angle of the handle, you have to push quite hard at the base of either side to move it (my older one was a lot easier) other than that I would recommend it

Lightweight great idea I thought but its too light to stop it from tipping if grass uneven as when u pull it back the front lifts up. Its small so doesn't take up a lot of space but u do have to empty it more. It cuts the grass great as u can adjust height of blade and it's easy to manoeuvre around but I would now prefer a heavy one like we had before after seeing how it lifts up at front.

Being a pensioner I found it very, very easy to work new lawnmower and my newly cut lawn feels like a carpet under my feet, Very, very pleased with my purchase as it is the same make of lawnmower that I purchased from Argos about 20 years ago which is still in constant use by another family member. Not once did my old mower let me down and that is why I opted for the same lawnmower

This is a great lawnmower I am really happy with it, it’s very light and easy to manoeuvre. I was able to assemble it with ease and it has adjustable height to allow different cutting length. The bin to collect the grass is quite small and does require emptying quite often but I still would highly recommend this product. Very good value for money and easy to store as it is compact.

Needed a small back-up lawn mower that didn't cost the earth. Always liked Flymo's and are perfectly safe if used correctly. Had to adjust the blade, but was simple enough. Accessories/instructions were stored in a plastic bag the grass compartment so took a while to located them! Cut the lawn just fine. Would recommend if you need something modest, light and cost-effective.

i have a small to decent size garden. When I started I thought this isn’t going to hold much at all and emptied the collection 5 times. After realising it was the first cut of the year, there is always more to be cut. Second time of using only had to empty it 2 times. Light and easy to use. Could do with an extra meter or 2 on the cord but does the job easy. Very happy

I bought this for mower for my mother and she thinks it's fabulous. It's lightweight, has an easy to remove grass box and comes with three grass cut settings. Using all three circular pieces, it cuts the grass very short. It has a metal blade and comes with a 2 year warranty. Only downside is if the grass is long, the box fills up quickly. Ideal for small lawns.

Not much putting together but remember to add 1-3 of circular bolt height adjusters. 3 = shortest cut, 2= medium and 1 = highest cut e.g. after lawn has grown more than usual perhaps. Once used to it all easy.. Does the job and good value. The grass box is fine for our small lawn - but check it if at all unsure. Easy to store away in shed - takes up little space.

Bought this mower for a small lawn.Works fine but don't expect bowling green stripes. Good for keeping a small lawn in order and will also pick up fallen leaves on the grass. Not the most powerful mower on the market but it is compact in size and simple to store. Easy to use with the hover action just keep the wire out of the way. All in all, a good buy.

this hover is so much easier to use than my old mower ,the grass box isn't in the way much more sensible than having it in front getting in the way all the time.I did the lawn in half the time .the only down side is I have to sweep the path because some of the grass fly's sideways but thats a small thing with this hover and I'm really glad I brought it

It came with 3 height adjusters which were useful as it allowed me to cut my long grass for the first time this year. The metal blade cut the grass very well. My previous mower would have torn at the grass. The cut gave a pleasing short and level finish. The grass pick up into the box is very efficient. The box is easily detached from the mower to empty.
