I bought this when my Flymo died after 'tripping over' a bit of stick that managed to shear the drive belt. Flymo design is poor and I couldn't get a replacement belt- now I am glad as I bought the Rotak instead. VERY pleased. Pushing something on wheels is far easier that the supposedly 'flying' of Flymos that very soon require a lot of pushing.The Rotak cuts well, it leaves stripes even on my poor quality lawn the grass box fills up from the back to the front i.e to its full capacity. Height adjustment is good too. The up-to-edge mechanism work reasonably well but you still need a strimmer or shears for corners with a wall-but that is to be expected.Minor quibble is that there is only a

I agree with a previous review, the plastic quality on this machine is not as good as my old one, which I have had for many years, and still works. The grass box is of poor construction and I feel would break easily in time, but I have a small amount of grass in my garden, so I often do not use the box, the box comes in two parts, easier for storage but I think if you continuously take it apart it would break eventually! The machine is light weight, and very easy to use, cutting the grass very nicely, it doesn’t have lead wrap around hooks, so you have to wrap the lead around the handle bars, a little annoying but just something I have to get used to. Fold us nicely and stores easily.Overall nice light weight machine,

I used to have one of these when I was doing a job that involved regular gardening.All I can say is they are brilliant for small to medium sized gardens.The machine is light and easy to maneuver and collects a fair bit of grass before it needs emptying.The cut on this thing is fantastic and whilst I think it may struggle with very long grass, it is at the leading edge of the field at this price point.They are electric and they are designed for smaller gardens - if you have a large garden this may not do the job - I guess you may want a petrol mower.

I bought this to replace my old Flymo hover mower and I can only say I wish I had got it sooner. This is powerful, lightweight and easy to manoeuvre around the garden. It goes easily over bumps and pebbles and fairly smoothly around bends. It cuts up to the edge of the grass, although it doesn't always get it all so you still need to neaten up with a strimmer or hand cutter. This mower is easy to assemble and folds away compact. The only criticism is that the grass box is flimsy.

New house, new lawn, growing tall after rain. Started mowing and filled basket in one pass, then it started jamming with grass. Wife said have you adjusted for height? Of course I had NOT. Moved the height control 2 notches and away we went, not a single jam and fewer baskets to empty. Lawn looks great. My son recommended the model and now I can see why.

bought this Bosch Rotak 34 Electric mower to replace my old one,same model but a lot cheaper on ebay than B&Q AND ARGOSwhat more can i say about the lawn mower its the same model as my last one which cut the grass great even on wet grass and picks up the cuttings great, also sharpening the blade was easy which was held on by one bolt. 10/10

A mower that does exactly what it says on the box, a quick delivery and easy to assemble lawnmower, it cuts grass with ease and is so lightweight and easy to manuvere.This is the best mower ive bought for many years and im well pleased with it.I would definately reccomend this product it cut my lawn with a proffesional striped lookAndy

Once built and in use this Mower is so easy to use. Press button, hold and then pull handle with it and it starts, manages my bumpy garden fine. Only thing I cant understand is why it hasn't got a hand grip on main handle... just bare metal.... it would finish it off if it had one as looks like it's 'missing'. Would recommend.

Powerful, light, quiet. Cuts through long, wet grass with ease. Compacts the grass into what looks like quite a small box, but it holds loads. Decent length of cable. Ergo handles are great, as you can swap hands during turns or round objects without dropping power. For small to medium gardens, this is ideal.

A good lawnmower for a small lawn. If grass is damp the grass gets jammed in the outlet. The biggest downside is operating the on off with the pull handle on the right side only. With a flymo the controlling bar goes right across the handlebar but this is difficult when manoeuvring. But still pleased with it.

I am really thrilled with my new Bosch Rotack 34R corded rotary lawnmower. Its perfect for my large garden and really done everything it's ment to do, good job on it cut down to the edge ,also the grass box holds all the grass while cutting the garden ...I would recommend this product to anyone ...

Bought this as mine blew up. Cuts really well, cut wet/long grass with ease. I like the idea of being able to change height from the side( no need to tip it up). Grass box was a little flimsy but, I only needed to empty the box once the garden was done(great compared to 2/3 times with the old one)

I recently replaced our long serving flymo hover mower as I was getting fed up of the mess it makes by blowing the grass everywhere. I am so pleased with the Bosch mower , awesome value for money and a beautiful cut every time. Build quality is a little lacking but otherwise a solid 10/10

excellent,lightweight easy to operate lawnmower. excellent cut which is adjustable, collecting box which holds loads,gives brillant lines when cutting the lawn and very quiet operation too. only fault is the power lead is too short,could do with another 10 feet. thanks

I have a large lawn at the front of my house, and it had become quite long, it took me two hours to cut the grass, and this mower performed very well, I had considered a petrol mower at twice the cost, but I am glad that I chose the Bosch.
