This is a strong effective trimmer - I already own one of these and bought another as 'back up' because I have an enormous and rather wild garden and I know this model copes well.The first which I bought some time ago had a problem eventually with its 'self/auto feed' this probably could have been remedied with a new cap, but I read somewhere on the internet that if you stick gaffa tape over the little lever inside the cap it'll work. I tried this and although it is no longer self feeding it cuts for a v. long time before it needs pulling through. I have found that this 'cure' also saves greatly on trimmer wire/cord/string (whatever).There have been no other problems at all!

Cant recommend this strimmers highly enough, im someone who has a small garden both back and front and has left it grow out of control so purchased this and it came today. Its absolutely amazing, cute through briers, duck leaves and weeds no problem atal, the only tiny minuscule thing is the line doesnt last long which meant I only had enough to do the front garden but it looks so good. Already looking forward to getting to the hardware shop to buy more line so I can start again. Delighted with my purchase

Powerful strimmer, has good balance as the weight of the motor is between the 2 handles. Much better than the type which has the motor down at the operating head of the machine, these are very tiring in use.Easy to use, the auto feed mechanism works well and the spool is easy to refill from a bulk reel bought from a DIY shed.Note that Part 8 listed in the instruction leaflet, a parking bracket for the spare spool, is not ( or no longer) supplied with this model.

Recently purchased this strimmer after my petrol one went on the blink, I am so happy with this new strimmer, it is every bit as good and certainly as powerful as the petrol one. I managed to cut my overgrown garden down in no time at all and with relative ease. I would highly recommend this strimmer to anyone looking for a strimmer that can cope with most overgrown gardens. Defiantly 10/10 from me.

This is a brilliant strimmer. I have a really big garden and I was sick of doing the edges by hand. The last strimmer I bought was rubbish I had to keep stopping and pulling more line out. This one did it automatically I love it. I'm 6ft the height was ok too but would be harder for taller people I had it on the tallest setting and still had to bend a little.

I have had this strimmer for 2 weeks now and i love it.its very easy to use and gives a brilliant cut on long grass and weeds.it is much lighter than i expected making it ideal for me as i have arthritis in my fingers.its simple to change from the lightweight wire to the heavy duty double cutting wire and i would definitely recommend it

This was a replacement for a Bosch strimmer and I have found the B&D GL 7033 to be far superior. The trimming and edging modes are very effective and the switch from one to the other is very easy. I also like the cutting line spool design and the ease of changing from a light to heavy cut. All in all delighted with my purchase.

A very powerful and efficient strimmer but quite heavy. Turns easily to become an edging tool.The spool autofeeder used the whole spool in less than an hour! I’ve ordered more but if they go as quickly it’ll have to go back. The heavy duty cords lasted a bit longer but it may cost a lot in replacements.

Used this for the first time today on my overgrown garden, I managed to assemble it fine and find it easy to use although its quite heavy when using for a while. Used the heavy duty lines and used all 4 to do the garden as they disappeared quite quickly. This could turn out to be expensive.

I bought this a week ago i love it i have a really big garden that needs a a powerful strimmer to get it cut down i have broke two really expensive flymo strimmers in less than a year trying to cut down properly but will be sticking with this from now on its great

I bought this a few weeks ago, on arrival I put it to use. It's GREAT!!, It strims the grass and really sorts out the tough weeds. The automatic line feed makes it easy, and the guide wheel stops you damaging other areas. I would recommend this to everyone.

I am so pleased with this purchase. It was delivered on time within the 1 hour time slot which was advised. The strimmer is light but very powerful - just as advertised. The service and communication from time of purchase to delivery was excellent.

Great piece of kit, had the older version and enjoyed using that, hence, when it needed replacing and I saw this I jumped at the opportunity to buy it....Really is well worth spending the bit extra to have a strimmer as good as this.

I bought this to manage the growth of nettles and weed in the massive back yard. It's by far the best strimmer I used. The vibrations are not as bad as the one I had before, and the self feeding cord is God sent. Very happy with it.

A Bit heavier than I thought it would be but once you get used to the weight it's ok. I think the bit I love the most is not having to keep stopping to fiddle with the wire as it comes outs automatically. Would definitely recommend.
