For years I’ve given myself backache snipping away with old style shears. When contemplating a new pair I suddenly had a flash of genius....why not make life easier and get one of these? It came quickly, I walked round the box, then opened it. A few bits to click together ( follow the instructions, laid out for the illiterate and clumsy), charge it up and go. Easy enough for a steam-age veteran like me, so OK for you surely. Works very well but test fly it on a bit of turf that can take a bit of chopping. Once you get the hang of it it’s fine. No more backache and the job gets done in a fraction of the time it did with the scissors.

Previously had a 240w Black and Decker strimmer, this 550w strimmer is AMAZING!The automatic line is perfect .6 , I managed to do a whole garden with ease, cutting down large thick weeds and I did not have to stop once to mess about with the wire.I do however recommend buying more strimmer wire 0.6mIt's not too heavy but I with that it came with a strap go most of the weight could rest on your shoulders, it would also be easier to swing.Overall a great product and I would definitely recommend.

This is a well made strimmer with a very powerful motor and capable of performing most grass cutting jobs that require a machine to cut down very heavy overgrowth of grass and weeds. It is also capable of performing the more delicate jobs like keeping the lawn and path edges tidy and is made all the easier to use by having a wheel attachment.

This strimmer is very easy to set up. The line seems to get used up at a fairly fast rate, but I think that is inevitable with strimmers. Lightweight and easy to move around, the auto feed seems to work well. The main disadvantage I found was that the guide wheel for edging does not swing out of the way for normal use , a real pain.

It works very well with the auto feed system. It does tend to 'eat' a lot of cutting line. It is quite heavy, but that seems to be because it is strong and well built, and for me, can get a bit tiring with ten minutes or so of use, but I can live with that as an excuse to go and have a mug of tea/coffee on the sunbed...

Fantastic, just what I needed for the small front garden I have. Instructions weren’t super clear on how to put it together but apart from that it’s fantastic, gets through thicker weeds than the old one I had. Dropped in price about £10 since I bought it so it’s an absolute steal at its current price on Amazon UK.

I used it for general strimming around the garden I was impressed by the guide wheel, with very little practice I got some nice straight lines on the lawn edges and it tackled some rough growth well. It came with the spool ready loaded so I haven't tried to reload yet, but it looks simple enough.

I can say that this is a powerful product and definitely does what it says. Manage my overgrown garden with easy. Only concern for me was the weight as swinging it was fine, but the weight of the motor i found a strain form after a while, but still pleased with my investment.

Good features include adjustable length ergonomically thought out to balance the weight of the strimmer and for the user. Like the roller wheel for edge trimming. Bad feature is the length of lead is short for the average garden and requires extension lead.

This is an excellent product, easy to put together and very effective when in use. Tip for those buying though, make sure you buy a completely new reel with the strimmer as only a small amount supplied.

So many strimmers out there need to go in to room 101. This strimmer is NOT one of them. Nice kit and the cord does not keep snapping all the time.

I haven't had it long but have used it and am happy that it carries out the function. The design is good and it will trim the weeds between flags.

Powerful motor and the line does not break every five minutes. The rotating head and guide wheel have been so useful, highly recommend.
